Great expereince - traditional Ryokan experience”

A very traditional and charming ryokan which provide a great stay away from home. The owners are very hospitable, helpful, friendly, generous and welcoming. Excellent location within walking distance to the Ise-Shi station and Kawasaki area.The rooms, shared toilets, common wash areas are kept clean all the time. Generous with toiletries and ready availability of drinking water. The owners took great pride and efforts in keeping this place comfortable, the gestures that they put into the place added to the coziness and comfort of the guests deserve great compliments. This ryokan provide a unique and memorable stay, ranked our favorite ryokan during our trip. Nice Japanese breakfast.THANK You Hoshidekan. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great place to stay”

I highly recommend Hoshidekan - really friendly and helpful staff, location is good (10 minutes walk to the Ujiyamada or Iseshi station - 15 minutes if you take your time), and one of the most charming places I've stayed at in Japan. The place is constructed as a ryokan in the middle of city, and it allows private baths at the onsen (it's a shared onsen, but you go in individually), and though you sleep the traditional Japanese style (mattress on tatami floors), it's still really comfortable. If you're staying at Ise, don't miss this place. :)

Great traditional House Hostel at Kawasaki Village”

The old house is very charming with the little garden and clean rooms. The house is a traditional old Japanese House and you can enjoy it. Service is very efficient and welcoming.

A very unique ryokan”

Very comfortable stay at this beautiful ryokan with excellent hospitality. The garden and the water well have created such a unique atmosphere. The breakfast is very nice too.

Ryokan traditionnelle type routard”

Charme désuet d'une auberge digne d'un film des années 1950....

Dans la petite ville d'Ise, cette ryokan est à 20 minutes à pieds de la gare. L'accueil est sensationnel et le personnel charmant. On y parle français ! Le décor rappelle tout à fait les films de l'après guerre mais le charme est réel et le côté désuet en fait partie. Les chambres, tatamis et futons sont très propres, les sanitaires communs aussi. Le calme est dépendant des voyageurs dans des chambres proches et séparées par des cloisons de papier. Possible de prendre un petit déjeuner japonais exclusivement, sur place.

昭和時代の日本家屋。若い方には新鮮に…年配の方には懐かしく感じられるでしょう。　畳にお布団　外国の方にも是非おすすめします。　朝食も美味しかったです。 女将さんとの伊勢の美味しいものの会話楽しかったです。（美味しい海苔のお店の情報ありがとうございました😊。） A Japanese house from the Showa era. Younger people will find it fresh...and older people will feel nostalgic.　Tatami mats and futon bedding. I highly recommend it to foreign guests as well.　Breakfast was also delicious. I enjoyed the conversation with the proprietress about the delicious food of Ise. (Thank you for the information about the delicious seaweed store 😊.)

大満足のおもてなし力。有形文化財の日本家屋旅館”

オーストラリア人の夫と滞在をしました。 外国人への配慮もよく考えられていて、英語版の観光ガイドや施設の説明書などを用意いただきました。 ウケを狙ってと思いますが、海外のミニ国旗も用意されていて、受付の前にオーストラリアと日本の国旗をさしてくださり、入館から和やかな雰囲気に包まれました。 運営されたいるのがおそらくご夫婦かと思いますが、施設の案内など大変丁寧で、気持ちよく泊まることができました。 お風呂は2人でも十分広く、朝食もボリュームがあってご飯のおかわりもできます。 伊勢市駅からも比較的近く、便利な場所だと思います。 真冬に泊まったのに加えて、その日は生憎の雨でしたので、昔ながらの日本家屋の木材の建物は冷やっとして寒かったです。 暖かい時期でしたら、リビングや素敵な中庭を堪能しながら寛ぎたいと思いました。
