Too noisily I feel slept on the street”
Hard to find, they don't have a clear sign. The room size was ok, but is too noisy to sleep, and old gum stuck on the head of a bed, beddings made my skin red dot and itchs. And it was overpriced. Overall what rip off!

Nice place. Great location”
My room was small, very small (lowest price) with shared bath-WC. Room clean and spent most time outside so the room was fine. After the weekend rush ended they moved me into a larger room with bigger bed and sink at no extra charge (nice if them). The managers do not speak much English but we're helpful in pointing me in the right direction for the supermarket, beer store, bus stops and sights. One block from Plaza Del Sol and the Red City Tour bus and plenty of street art. Lots of restaurant's, stores and markets for snacks on the street. ATM across the street. Trip Advisor did not provide their phone number causing a small problem. My flight came in at 11pm so I arrived at the hostel late, found it was on the second floor of an office building and inside a large steel door. I rang the intercom without results. Finally a resident came by and let me in but I could have stood there for hours. The building is a mix of offices, residential apartments and two hostels. NOTE: The place is easy to find but doesn't look like your average hostel or hotel. Just a black steel door with glass looking into an entry not a lobby. Number 31 is above the door in large numbers so you know you are in the right place.

Double or Twin with Balcony
Stayed 6 nights in September 2014
we had a cleaner everything which worked very well for us. we also had a nice enough room with a balcony right up from sol! perfect location. we were able to check in late according to our flight plan
i would say that overall our stay was addecuate. we checked in at around 10pm later than expected since it took us a while to find it- there were no signs on any doors to say hostal bahia! we were informed of how the hostal worked and that we had a cleaner and wifi. we noticed faulty things with the room. first of all i was traveling with my dad so we asked in advance for two beds instead of a double. but we were greeted with the latter which wasnt acceptable. though they evetually rectified this. the main lights didnt work in our room and when we asked about them they hostal lady had no idea! for a few days our stay was good without fault. but then we were moved to the hostal accross the hall as they had 'double booked' our room and the new guests were deemed more important. This was all fine and well until we saw the state of the second hostal. for one it was dirty, and the room was just disgusting. we had to leave for the day as it wasnt clean. we were given mismatched beds and they were like cardboard. the curtain rails were broke and the tv was something from the 80's. when we tried to use the tv via the loose plug it didnt work and so to rectify this? the lady brought us an extension cord that had to hang over the bath- talk about safe! then when we used the shower only one door worked thus making us spill water everywhere in the immediate space of the shower. and understandably the toilets were to be shared between other guests. but what we didnt realise was that there was only one toilet that was in a room so small neither me nor my dad could actually use it! also there was wifi but it didnt work unless you sat in the 'lounge' shall we call it. And when we went to use it there were other guests incluiding the landlady smoking there which was totally unacceptable. The hostel situation really put a dampner on our stay and we unfortunately will not be booking there again.

Great location but beware of the manager”
Location, location, location
Like I said, the location of the hotel is exceptional. It's a 2 min walk to puerta del sol and to plaza fact a max 10 min walk to anywhere. The rooms are clean as are the bathrooms. However, please note that the manager lives in the hotel (husband wife and their young child). This can be a bit disconcerting as one is not used to hearing a child all day in a hostal. But the one thing of caution is the lady.....she can be quite rude and brash in her manner though after staying there for 4 nights, I did realize that she didn't have any malice. But she constantly whinged about her life problems....not something you want to hear about when you are trying to relax on a holiday. My only suggestion to owner of hotel is that they move her out of there! She has no idea what hospitality is about or good customer service!

Great location with odd service”
Great location (right in Peurto del Sol)
Our experience at this hotel was strange ... when we arrived the lady had no clue we were coming, and realized the room we had booked was already booked by another visitor using a different website, but she had forgotten to close the room on Agoda. Since we arrived first, she let us stay in the room (but did try to up-sell us first). The atmosphere in the hotel was very uncomfortable because the owners seemed to live there, and we think they had a young child or baby ... they were quite clear with us that we had to be quiet and couldn't "get drunk." The next morning one of the owners quasi-accused us of "breaking the door" by banging on it in the middle of the night, which we had no idea what he was talking about. If you simply need a place to crash for a night, this is a good option; if you want to meet some people and enjoy yourself in your hostel, stay somewhere else.

very good, good location”
Location, privacy, cleaness
To be honest, they sent me a message some days before our arriving saying that there was a problem with the room so they were sending us to another hostel of the same owner, so we disn't see this how this hostal Bahia looks like, the hostel where we were sent was just amazing, very nice room, very nice toilette, super clean, well located, etc... 5 stars hostel!!! Just loved it!!!

gli avventori dell'albergo,sono giovani,disponibili e simpatici
stanza piccolissima ,senza finestra
