Great for the cost. Too simple for hostel.
Perfect room size for 3 people. The daily construction starting at 10am was frustrating and should have been mentioned before I booked, because I wouldn't have booked. There were constantly workers in the hall and large items left behind in the hallways. No kitchen access in any hostel is also difficult for travelers. Great location and great price for Madrid though.

Fantastic stay
Great location, great price, great room... clean room, good size and extremely comfortable bed, felt very at home here (one of the few hotels to make me feel this way during my 3 months travelling). Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. So much choice for food in the immediate area and close and easy to access metro station to main train station or airport bus. Would stay again if in Madrid.

Economic yet nice experience
The location is like perfect since it only takes less than three minutes to get into Sol station, which is the heart of Madrid city. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of an apartment building and travelers should not have concerns over safety issues. The only problem I met during my stay is that they seemed not to work out the hot water issue but the staff went to extra miles to get me to take shower in another coshared hotel. Anyway we must be fair that you cannot get to complain much at this price. However, if the street noises during midnight is an issue for you the you'd better avoid all hotels within the proximity of Sol station. Overall, it was a nice experience and I will consider lodge in this hotel if I ever got the chance to visit Madrid again.

Not worthy enough
The single room is incredible tiny, and the wall is thin like paper, I can clearly hear the talking details from neighbors. The location is wonderful, but very loud all day long. I won't suggest here for single traveling.

Great location, good value
Perfect location, just a stone throw's away from Sol metro station and all the buzz around the Madrid city centre. Within walking distance to most attractions and things to do in Madrid!

Excellent gem in Puerta del Sol
Location, room and friendly receptionist
Location: 3-min walk to 0 km in Puerta del Sol. The room was facing the street where people chatting until late and the cleaner & beer trucks arrive early morning. The hotel is charming; the towels were delivered with a ribbon - sweet. Wifi is strong. Excellent value for money.

Very noisy!
Cleanliness, location, confort
The room was very nice, with a double bed, balcony, very clean and the staff was very nice as well. I wont choose it again because is very noisy. The area is very busy, with a lot of tourists around. Inside the hostel the walls are very thin and is very likely you will listen your neighbours' TV or conversations. Same with the bares downstairs; there is music and people shouting in the street until 4 or 5 am. Not the place for people who likes something quite and to go bed early in the night.....However if you are in holidays and you want to have parties, you may enjoy its great location and the nice and comfortable rooms.

Alright
Close to shops, public transport and restaurants
We had problems with the Airconditioning unit in our room and it took a day to fix it. On the good side it was really close to shops, restaurants and attractions.
