Unpleasant, awkward experience. The site is run by friends having their own private party not caring about anyone else. First night they were playing loud music till 00:30 and then chatting really loud till 1:30am. Second night they were playing a movie with their home cinema system in the staff cabin full blast. I had to go and ask them to turn it down, it was midnight. Third night the same thing happened but not as loud. Every morning we’d be waken up by loud music from the staff at 8am. Since there are no walls in the rooms (ALSO NO FLOOR, it’s basically sand) you could hear everything. The attitude of the staff was far from pleasant with inappropriate jokes. Would not go back. That’s for sure.

Good location, could be better service”
My stay was good. The only complaint is about my bed. I was assigned to stay in the 6 bed dorm. I was shown 3 free beds at my noon check in, I pointed to a bottom bunk, and the guy who checked me in said OK. When I came back to the room after a day at the beach at 7pm, there were people on my bed. When I complained, the Italian guy at the front desk said, and what do you want me to do about it? Needless to say, I was given the only available top bunk with very Little air. I did not sleep compfortably that night, and feel that I was deceived about which bed I was going to have (seems like 4 people were given that bed!!!)

Amazing / Incroyable / Estupendo ”
No tengo palabras para este sitio maravilloso. Todo está hecho para que te sientes como en casa. El staff se vuelve tu familia, el lugar es increíble y muy cerca de todo. Lo recomiendo. Make sure to stop by this amazing hostel. The staff is always ready to help, like a big family. The beach is really close. I love this place and will come back really soon... like in 20 days... hahahahaha Franchement, adresse incontournable pour visiter cette merveilleuse île. Ambiance décontractée, le sable est de mise, vous serez à coup sûr dépaysé. J’adore cet endroit. Bravo à toutes l’équipe de Ida y Vuelta. Muchos besos amores.

Great place to stay for going to the beach ”
I stayed in a mixed dorm and it was great. It had a own bathroom. There is also another public bathroom and a kitchen you can use. Also lots of hammocks and places to sit down. Perfect walking distance to the beach and super quiet at night. With just a few minutes walk you are in downtown for food or anything else. For basic needs there is a small supermarket nearby. Also the stuff was really friendly and helpful. They help you with everything, from booking tours to food recommendations or they also help you to plan how to move in from Holbox. Will definitely come again! I think the cabanas are also quite nice.

Gute Lage, in fünf Minuten am Strand. Man kann alles zu Fuß machen. Die Anlage ist liebevoll gemacht. Betreiber sprechen auch Deutsch und Englisch, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kleines und leckeres Frühstück inbegriffen. Gutes Preiis- Leistungsverhältnis. Absolut empfehlenswert.
