Awkward messy hostel with hidden fees. ”
Good location and cheap but has problems. You have to pay for a locker nightly. My stay was ruined by the 20 other people in the room, very unsociable, passive aggressive and they stole food. Facilities are minimum at best. The cleaner/laundry guy was awful. Slamming and THROWING things around whilst people slept. He took mine and someone else's towels no fucks given. Beds are terrible, noisey and no fresh linen. There was also a guy living in a cupboard in the kitchen? Not fun to try and cook around. If your only here for one night then it's cheap and close to center but anything longer save yourself the stress and pay a few more euro.

Cheapest hostel found in Amsterdal”
I was lucky to get room 15 because that's on ground floor. Pros: - Affordable - Strong wifi - Good location (less than 1 min walk from the tram station and near some cafes) - Staff give some good information Cons: - Toilet & guest ratio is very high. Only 2 showers and 2 toilets for 20+ guests in one room. However, I never had to wait in line for some reason even though the room was almost fully occupied. - Toilet is super small. When I shut the door, it almost hit my nose. - I wish the shower had some hook stuck to the door to hang my towel & clothes. Once, a man had to come out naked from his shower so I shut my eyes (I was brushing my teeth) until he finished. - Although I can tell that the staff cleans daily, the guests don't care about hygiene at all. Sometimes the toilet was splashed with yellow liquids and tissues all over the floor or people don't flush! So I wish the staff could take care of these little details instead of just following their cleaning routine.

Not Ideal for Long Stay”
Although it is very near to tram station and most tourist spots are within walking distance, the cons of this hostel include the too many beds in one room (30 beds). The bed is very small, literally no space to turn around. Other guests were noisy and talking and laughing loudly when others are asleep. Very inconsiderate. All 30 guests have to share 2 shower stalls, 2 toilets, 2 sinks. It takes a long time before your turn. It is not cheap and with that price, it is not worth it. It might be ideal for only 1 night stay but not for long stay. But if you don't mind all these, I guess you can bear with the condition I mentioned. It's not bad but certainly I have stayed in better hostels with better amenities.

Cheap hostel to crash”
The hostel with above my expectation with a good size room for 6 people. Bathroom was okay. Just need to be careful with the stairs which are steep! Would recommend as it is very good price

it was really bad experience in Amsterdam, because we choosed this hostel. whatever the service or base installation are so bad. we want never come back to this hostel. But Amsterdam is really so nice.

Terrible Hostel”
I've stayed in hostels all over the world and this is one of the worst in terms of value for money. Beds were dirty, uncomfortable, smelled a bit like urine and I'm pretty sure had bed bugs. You had to pay extra, on top of the ridiculous expense of the lodging itself, to have one of the lockers in the room (a simple necessity when staying in hostels). Then when I tried to use the kitchen facility that is literally in the main lobby, I was told that it was for staff use only, and the same applied to the fridge. I don't think these people actually understand the purpose of a hostel. I cut my losses for a few nights and booked into another place nearby just to escape this place. Don't book here!
