Female Dormitory 4-Bed
Stayed 2 nights in May 2017
Suitable for solo female traveler”
Booked 4bed female dormitory (+) Good location, clean, cozy, the staff was helpful, near shopping center, easy to find food to eat, near subway, the kitchen open until 10pm (cereal always ready, eventhough you missed the breakfast in the morning). (-) Check in after 3pm, The entrance is not easy to find, Reception desk for check in is on the 6th floor and the hostel it self is on 11-12th floor. A male cleaning staff will come to clean your room around 10.30-12.00 in the morning. Overall it was a good stay, probably will come back to stay at this hotel again. :)

clean but no atmosphere”
very clean and good location, but you are mostly alone if you are a solo Traveller because there is not a lively common area (small and no comfortable seats) breakfast is really good, and rooms are clean.

Best place to stay for female solo travellers”
The nightlife is amazing here. So if you're a female traveler, walking from the train station to the hostel won't be nerve-wrecking at all. It feels extremely safe. Exit 9 of Jonggak station is the closest to the hostel. They provide an exceptional breakfast spread for a hostel and everything is clean and tidy. Basic amenities (towels, toothbrushes, hair dryers, shampoo & body wash) are available. There's a television in every bunk bed for entertainment too :) The view from the terrace is amazing, especially during the blue hours of the day.

Bravo! Excellent place ever! ”
Initially plan to stay 2 night and move to Busan on 3rd day. Due to some reason I extend one night at hostel Haru. This place is nothing to complaint. I really like the staff and the place was so clean and well design. Definitely meet my expectation. Location is such convenient. Walking distance within 3 minute to reach Jonggak station from exit no.9 or no.10. Im so lucky get used to know all the Friend from our room. I will come back to stay here again !Thanks.

Best place ever”
It's clean, spacious, cozy and so comfortable. I stayed 4 nights in total and I totally loved that place, I was so sad about leaving. It's a little pricier than the rest of the dorms I found, but it's really worth every cent paid! I would seriously consider going back there again. There's a private TV even in the dormitory room, for each bed, seriously everything's just so perfect. The staff are really nice people as well, and the environment is really quiet and nice to sleep in!

Fantastic ”
One of the best hostels I have ever been to. Amenities like towels, toothbrush, slippers, and bottled water are all included. There are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Breakfast was decent. It's very clean and staff are very friendly. Totally recommend it.

affordable, accessible location and friendly staff”
I stayed here for my first solo trip abroad. Hostel Haru is located in Jongno-gu in central Seoul. The area is very much alive during evenings. Restaurants of all kinds can be found in this area. If you're looking for some affordable or mid-priced meals and you don't want to venture far, better check the restaurants or eateries around. Some cultural and shopping areas are a 10 - 30 minute walk. You can walk to Gyeokbokgung palace compound, some museums, Myeongdong shopping center/street and Insadong. There are two subway stations nearby: Jonggak, a 5-minute walk and Euljiro 1-ga, a 10-minute walk. Amidst of the surrounding establishments, the area is not chaotic and the hostel is easy to locate. However, if you stay in the dormitory-typed room, expect some inconvenience on privacy. The bed may not also be huge enough for tall people. There are also no lockers in the dormitory-type room to stash stuff but for safekeeping valuables, guests can use their respective safe box. Wall hooks and hangers are sufficient to hang coats, towel or pants hence I didn't mind the absence of a locker. In terms of service, the hostel staff is amiable and accommodating. If you travel light, they will be providing you towels and toiletries daily. As a first-timer in Seoul, I didn't bother where to have my breakfast as it was included in my accommodation. I have no qualms with the hostel's cleanliness; our room was cleaned daily. Amidst a few inconveniences, I think the hostel was worth my money. Location wise, it is an accessible and safe place to stay for a week-long visit in Seoul.

Love staying there!”
Stylishly design with sufficient space and facilities for solo traveller. Attentive staffs offered friendly services. I stayed in a single room with private bath and access. Nice and clean with the privacy that I looked for at a reasonable price. Great location: lots of local restaurants nearby, walking distance to Insadong and Myeongdong, and subway only a block away. I will surely be back.
