There are many loud Western backpackers who seem very sociable. It's uncomfortable because I want to be alone and quiet, but there aren't many places to do that. They often drink and make noise quite late into the night, so I wouldn't recommend it for people who want to sleep. It's nice that there are cute dogs and a big supermarket nearby. It's quite a walk from the bus terminal.
