Clean and new box room & facility”
Professional capsule room with clean sheets and comfortable mattress, complete amenities & facilities provided, had a decent stay though a bit far from stations, but it is compensated with peace and serenity, with a family mart just around the corner. Will definitely return for a stay if back in hakata.
Not for family but for solo travellers or friends travelling together”
I cannot complain about the cleanliness at all and amenities. The only negative side about this hotel is its distance from the point of interests and the receptionist that time is not really accommodating.
Good accommodation for a backpackers”
I had a great time in this hostel. The staffs is nice, the facilities is great, the capsule bed size and space is comfortable, the location is a walking distance from Hakata station and I had a great time here. If I visit Fukuoka again, I will stay at this hostel again.
Good hostel ”
The location is a bit hidden, but within 10 minute walking distance from the nearest bus stop and train station. It has a convenient store nearby which makes life easier as a traveler. The hostel is relatively clean, staffs are helpful. The only drawback is that it has only one toilet for 38 people staying in the floor.
Worst hostel I've been to, especially for women”
Far from any station, nothing around it except for family mart, staff couldn't speak English well. You could find a much better hostel in Hakata for the same price or even less. For women it gets even worse: the shared bath is for men only, so there was only one shower available for me. The laundry is also inside the men's floor, so I had to walk to a nearby laundromat and pay 800 yen instead of the usual 300... Also the bathroom was small and inconvenient in my opinion.
I like this hotel, simple for a solo traveler like me, but the wall was thin and be aware if you're looking for a quiet place, this is not a place for you because you can hear every noise made from other guest around your room. for comfort i give it a 3 out of 5. for transportation i give it 5 out of 5. it so near to the train station and more time on walking a lot.
Great capsule experience!”
The receptionist are amicable and hospitable. The system of checking in and out is convenient. I feel secured knowing they have passcode locks for main entrance and per floor. Shower rooms are clean and have the necessary things you need like shampoo, conditioner and bath soap. Overall, I am very satisfied!
Men's bathroom closes often so it's hardly worth it”
Despite on picture it looks nice, due to price you are likely to find a crammed quarter even in off season. The mandatory cleaning fee, and the location further from the city center makes this less attractive as an option, especially factored in the men's bathroom closing often and early, erasing the highlight of this hostel.
Wonderful hostel. They have a hot sauna and spa pool. Staff was friendly, helpful, and understood English fairly well. The closest stations are about 15 minutes away by foot which isn't too bad. It's in a quiet neighborhood and far from tourist attractions and grocery stores. The only problem I had was that there were many guests that kept going in and out on some nights, which resulted in a lot of noise coming from the entrance on every floor. That's probably something to expect for capsule hotels, especially on weekends.

Far from Hakata Station (18minutes walk) and Fukuoka airport (40 minute walk). The area there is extremely quite if you walk from Yoshizuka station not many people you can see in the street. And you may walk pass a grave. Suggest to walk only from Hakata Station. The reception staff would be better if they are more smiley and friendly. Not many option or restaurant around. Have one Family Mart nearby just opposite slightly. In between the opposite is too narrow that it may not have space to walk if each other put their baggage or backpack on the floor. There are no locker for the backpack. The capsule is only divided using chip board. You can hear snoring from opposite also. No cleaning everyday on your capsule and it will be charged if you want. Only one word just a space to sleep. That's all.
Pros: good staff, everything is cleaned , access to sauna for girls , on a private bathroom :) Free use of kitchen tools , capsule big enough with mirror inside :) Cons : far from Hakata station exit 3 ( Chikishi exit ) ~20 min by foot Nothing around it .. just a family Mart No free breakfast .. I was hoping for that But basically it's the best hostel I went . Just a bit far but it's worth it ^^
FUKUOKA's HIDDEN Hotel”
Nice Hotel. Reception is available from 10:00-22:00, if late check-in the receptionist will leave the towels & keycards at the reception with further instruction. Only women can use the sauna facilities & laundry area. You can cook your food because they have induction cooker with pots & pan. Its kinda far from the nearest station which is the Hakata Station, you need to walk around 30minutes. There's a nearby FamilyMart.
Advantages Big Bath place for women U can cook here with good equipment for cooking Disadvantages: Hardly to walk by the suitcase Front desk working hours between 10am - 10pm Unlike hostel, but more likely as the hotel with really low price 15mins from station
Everything was perfect! I had a pleasant stay :)”
Value for money, will definitely stay in this hostel again if going to Fukuoka. It was my best stay during my 20 days trip in Kyushu. Staff are friendly too. The only thing is it located a bit distant from Hakata station, about 15 minutes walk. But personally think that the walk is worthy :)
Thank you for your review and for choosing our hotel. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay and We are looking forward to having you again as a guest in our hotel.
Opening hour for the male public bathroom ”
I wake up early and back late to the hotel. only little chance to enjoy the wonderful facility. Hope it can extend the opening hour.
Secured area for women. Nice Hot bath n wet spa ”
I felt so secured with its separate floors and security locks for ladies dorm, ladies shower and make up area and the spa floor. The cubicle is complete with electric sockets , own light, curtained. I looked forward to going to its hot bath n spa everyday. The nearest bus station is Toko 2 Chome , about 500 m away fr Hostel Spica and is 2 stops - y100- from Hakata Sta.
For late arrivals the bath is closed so you can only use the shower on your floor, and their is only one shower for the whole floor so if many people arrive late then you may have to wait awhile. Also, the wifi wasn’t working. The location is accessible from hakata station on foot though (about 15-20 minutes) which is a plus.

It was ok”
Far from the train station, inconvenient outlets in the lounge, 1 shower/1 toilet for like 50 guests on my floor and you have to be in the front 4 beds to feel the Aircon. Otherwise, leave your curtains open and sleep with undies and a shirt.
