Saw it right away when you stepped out of the train station. Nice renovated and decorated. Yummy breakfast with various choices. Love the cat. Friendly staffs and comfortable atmosphere. Just one thing is the toilet inside the female dorm is too narrow to sit down and it would be all wet if someone just showered because there is nothing to separate.

perfect location, awesome service and facilities”
1. perfect location, right outside of the train station and Bus station. there are also car/scooter renting shops. near night markets. very convenient. 2. Very clean, calm and comfortable inside. Easy self-access. With a lot of details : atmosphere deco, public areas, TV, kitchen with full equipment, lockers, laundry. Rooftop hot bath, especially Love the time for Girls only. very considerate <3. just hope it can open a bit longer. 3. Laundry machine is convenient too, just Dryer machine can start from 16 mins (min. $20nt), each time $50 (40 mins) is a bit too long. we might not need that long time. 4. Love breakfast buffet ideas. it's the best in this hostel scale :D (it would be perfect if coffee bag is provided but I'm very satisfied 7-11 is just on the corner) Will def. choose this again and recommend to friends.

This is a very thoughtfully designed, squeaky-clean hostel with great amenities, superb location and very friendly staff. Both times I've been (perhaps low season) the rooftop hot spring bath has been quiet. Love reading in the lounge room on the 4th floor too. Nice simple breakfast. Can't give it a better rating!

Black mold in dorm bed. Funky smell sometimes. Common area without electricity during afternoon. Staff (acquaintainces of staff? There were around 5 people most of the time!) are literally just starring at you like an alien - not even saying "nihao" or smiling. Very very uncomfortable atmo!! Design & breakfast are nice. Cleaning lady is nice!! She is an exception!

Not suitable for solo foreigners”
The hostel has a problem with black mold (even in the dorm beds you will face it) & with stinking pipes. The hostel design is nice, but there is no warmth or atmosphere whatsoever. Most of the staff (? acquaintance of owner) just bluntly stare at you, but without a smile, not even a short hello/nihao, which makes you feel awfully awkward and uncomfortable. (The cleaning girl was nice!). The dorm is a box, which is alright if you stay 1 or 2 nights and if there are max 2 ppl in there. The breakfast ist nice. In the afternoon the common room is dark/ cold and seems to be shut down from electricity… kitchen WiFi wasnt strong and the entrance area (tables, light) is always occupied by staff/acquaintences mentioned above. There are much more welcoming hostels in Yilan County!

Love the atmosphere of the hostel. Peaceful and stylish. The facilities are well-maintained too. Overall i had a good night sleep and enjoy the rooftop hotspring. The location is right next to jiaoxi station and there are food stores and convenience store nearby.

Lovely Hostel - would come again! ”
Modern Muji-like minimalist Hostel, literally right outside station so if you have luggage, ideal. Has a Small hot spring bath on its top floor , quite unusual For a Hostel. Offers a simple breakfast of Bread, ham, etc. Atmosphere is soothing and a welcome respite after a long Travel

Nicest hostel I have ever stayed in”
The hostel is very nice! It has this very minimalistic, japanese zen vibe. Staff was nice, place was clean, facilities is superb! I arrived early and could store my luggage with lock! There is even a lift in the hostel - so if you have luggage like me, you won't have to worry. Breakfast was great! Eating space is awesome too, with nice smoothing music. Theres also a cute cat in the hostel ^^ Even though I only stayed for a night, I will definitely visit again if I go to Yilan.
