On my conquest of travelling around the world, having visited Pattaya multiple times, this is the hotel that stands out, being a hotel that deserves recognition and writing a review for. If I could, I would rate it a 5 star hostel, not a 2.5 star like humbly mentioned. It really exceeds my expectation. I believe that everyone who visits Pattaya for the first time shoul...

(1) Custom built BEDS. Steel frames. Solid, no squeaks. (2) SPRING mattresses. Most hostels give you a foam mattress. Here, you get a SPRING mattress. (3) Bed frame is WIDE, wider than the mattress. Good to leave items. (4) Notice the build QUALITY. The floor tiles, the sinks, the bookshelves, the lounge sofas. Very admirable & unique for a "budget" hostel. (5) ...

This hostel is good located in Pattaya center, near to the beach, Walking Street, seven eleven, food stores. The room 6 dorms is small, 2 dorms in the corner is hot because the air-conditioning is not reached and have some strange smell. The locked is not work. Have no curtains each dorm. We normally stay in this hotel when we visit Thailand because the rate 900 baht a night has never changed. Vic the owner says the only thing that changes is the exchange rate. All the rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, internal telephone, bathroom with shower (hot water 24/7), towels & bedding changed daily + the Queen Victoria Inn is located on the "sexyist so...

-Good facilities Free WIFI,Cleaned bed and sheet,Girl's room have own restroom and washing room in balcony. -Many beds but ppl really quite in midnight,so I had a nice sleep.(Usually I take earplugs with me,but I didn't use it in here)As a dormitory the price was good! - Good services.I was new in pattaya. But the day I come was heavy rained and I didn't take my umb...

It's was great! Location is perfect not so much noize as everywhere in Pattaya but at the same time lovated in middle of all intertaiments near Tiffani show and can go everywhere, to walking street only for 10bath by local bus tuc-tuc Rooms look different as in pictures, they made some renovations, new paint and some decorations its much beetter. SOAP: & shampoo. *if anyone gives this place a lower than 5 star rating, they are insufferable ingrates. This is a hostel. You're not a traveler if you think this hostel isn't ideal. Cap...

This hostel provides individual toilet. Room is clean, bed is comfy, A/C is good, water heater is good, the main door is only accessible by card (so it is SAFE), no deposit. However, on another note, please be prepared to climb the stairs; no lift. Complimentary coffee and tea is a BONUS. Overall, i love this place and would recommend to any budget traveler.

Given that there are not many decent hotels/hostels in Sattahip, this hostel ranks top tier. We stayed in a room with seaview. The view is nice but the price is relatively high compared to the amenities and facilities given. Please note that no breakfast is provided but it is not really an issue as you can walk to the market nearby. The best feature here is the rooftop...

I should start with saying I didn't particularly enjoy my trip to Pattaya. It was different from what I was expecting. A little TOO tourist-y for my tastes. This resulted in me not having great conversations with the people in the hostel, as we didn't have much in common. But I think this may be the case in any hostel in Pattaya. The hostel itself, however was certai...

if you can deal with the small pool, the lack of a breakfast buffet, and the 100 meter walk from the jomtien beach road past deserted villas, you will find a small (20 rooms only) and charming hotel, where the staff always greets you with a smile and bring out your door key without you need to ask. the cleaning standard is very high, and house keeping never bothers you...

Love this place. I would highly recommend it. I still can't believe it's so cheap for how nice the room is. Comfortable bed. Big TV. Little comfy sofa. Great location. Praew is excellent and helpful. Not all staff speaks English perfectly, but they try their best to help.

My friend stayed here and I stayed at a hotel round the corner, we spent almost our whole holiday at the hostel (by the bar). The owner (english guy) was amazing! sat and chilled with us all day, gave us the best advice and knowledge on Pattaya, even got me a FREE TATTOO from the studio across the road! He took us for a tour round Pattaya and he mountains just out o...

This hostel is located in very good location, 200-300 meters from beach road in south pattaya, and there is mostly everything just next to it, the lady who is boss there is also a nice woman, she is helpful, i stayed in Singapore hostel too, but if I compare this hostel from Singapore hostel than in half the price u have much more facilities here, i would recommend to ...

A proprietor of this hostel is handsome Korean. They seem to be coming to the facilities and be managing facilities every day. Actually, I booked Shady'House. When I arrived, no one was there. I needed to call the contact number that I got. An Indian couple owner came. Finally I asked to move to other hostel branch named 'Pattaya Backpacker '.The staff allowed me to move as the reason of location. There is nothing around Shady 'House. The Chinese& Indian owner are kind.

This Hostel is very far from Pattaya city...also I cannot find this Hostel there were no sign board..if You r wanted to see Pattaya ,should book in Pattaya City like walking street and second road best place..I had checked Inn in that hotel and checked out same day.... booked my Hostel on second road.

I really liked their facility’s design, also they were super clean and their location is great. Staff were also really kind and helpful. Free hot water, cold water, coffee, tea. nice common area with big lCD TV. Reception speaks good English. 10 baht bus in front of hotel take me to every where in Pattaya . Street food court 5 min walk.

When we arrived no one knew we were coming, Agoda booking confirmation didn't say we need to contact the owner to confirm the arrival time, so we were sat waiting with our luggage for half an hour. We had a 2 bedroom apartment that it stated sleeps 5 adults. In our party there was 4 adults and 2 young children so we thought there would be enough room, unfortunately ...

Clean room... good breakfast.... good location.... attentive staff... really enjoyed the swimming pool on the 4th floor! Very Cool! Pattaya, in general, is a tourist destination so pretty much everything is more expensive than where I live in Chiang Rai... even so, still a good value for money.

Traveler impressions of Pattaya
Craziest traffic ever, dirty and smelly in some parts of the city but the fun and action got no rival in the entire Thailand .
It is a great place to visit, I have never known anywhere like this before. just remember not to break the law as what you may think is a small thing could turn out to be very seriuse in thailand.
It's is loud dirty and smelly but do not let that put you off, I know they are trying to clean it up and change it's image, but I would say it is still a party town whatever your thing is.
Seafood and Japanese restaurants are way pricey, not worth the money. Central department store mall has wide variety of eateries, recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay in Pattaya as it is a serene coastal city, There are less tourists thus the beaches are quieter and more enjoyable.
Easy to take the bus to and from Bangkok Airport to Pattaya, no need to take a taxi. Great variety of Western, Thai restaurant.
Party city number one in Thailand. If you want more family go to Jomtien area. Not a place for family with children or any romantic tour.
honestly the hotel was the nost outstanding thing about pattaya and very much self contained!, however we really enjoyed the aquarium, with our kids!
Not a good place for families to go. However if you don't mind the walking girls, it's a pretty nice place
Best tourist place in Thailand, lots of tourists, but Thai people here not as nice as for example Chiangmai or Bangkok, too commercial and realistic, always in tourist area, so always asking for price before take the offer, later they will also asking for tips which quite annoying I must say .
Friendly Thai people, transportation are very convinient. Make sure study the map first. Nice seafood restaurant and bars.
I missed Pattaye and i will be coming soon as i can't forget the city. The beach road, walking street, the pattaya beach, shopping and food and drinks.
Pattaya is full of a bunch of old men that hooked up with thai women because they can't get one in their own country.
It was a wonderful city with more things that you thought you can do! First city where I tried out water sports like parasailing and snorkelling and it was a wonderful experience.
Closest beach with mixture of International tourists with many things to do. Partying by Walking Street at night, take boat trips to Koh Larn, happy ending at Sabai massage, swimming at Cartoon Network, etc.
I enjoyed Pattaya a lot and could/should have stayed another day or two really, instead of only staying for 2 days (after staying in Bangkok for 4).
Do take note that they dont have taxi services as like in Bangkok. It works based on a shuttle service kind of system.
Lived in Pattaya for a while about 15 years ago. The city has deteriorated drastically, the traffic is horrendous, worse than Bangkok.
The island is a great place to stay for a mini break from Bangkok.it is quaint and something different that is not to far to go from bkk.
We have been to Pattaya many times as we live in Bangkok. Good place to relax for a few days and then return to the city.
Lots of things to do.... And not say about the girls here is extremely old and not so good loking i would say
We are here during the xmas season, thought its going to be hell lot of happening. but its seems that this year, crowd is less.
Great town for all people something for everyone. As most place in Asia one price for locals one price for visitors so haggle to get the best price if not walk away as most shops have the same stock
It's a city full of life 24/7 , Used to be much more for relaxation 10 years ago. But now , it's a busy travel destination, lots and lots of tourist, very crowded , especially during a holiday season.
A nice city near the beach. Easy to travel, lot of taxi, van and motorcycle available. Restaurants are good, but a little expensive.
Shops at the roadside are cheap. Halal food is limited. Bargain with taxi if you need to go out of the city.
Pattaya is for the boys. I went there with my wife to meet my brother who had not been there before. It is not my favorite place in Thailand and its pretty full on so be prepared
Pattaya is a vibrant City that "never sleeps" It is a tourist town that predominantly caters for tourists but you don't have to blow your budget to have a good time.
really nothing much in pattaya maybe because i did not go to the walking street. the beaches is overcrowded compared to the many other location in the countries.
Its a busy bustling city day and night, if you are looking for piece and quiet its not the place for you
Pattaya's best hotels with breakfast

We greatly enjoyed the hotel and it's family oriented ambiance. It's facilities is perfect and safe. The cleanliness is beyond my expectation. I hope your standard never changes. The staff are all polite and helpful. The kids love the pool very much. Terminal 21 is just a few minutes away. We will stay again next time we travel again in Pattaya. It's the best...

To be honest my fiancee and I booked this hotel by accident. We did not have enough time to do a thorough research before our trip. But I am so glad that we spent our short trip at Cape Dara. I have been to many places but this is definitely one of the best hotels you can find. Service crew attended to us immediately upon our arrival and greeted us warmly. Cooling flo...

We live in Pattaya but ocassionally want to get away from our hectic family life and have some us time as a couple. We generally choose the Centara when we want some extra special pampering as 5 star here means a truly 5 star experience. There are many restaurants and the food is great at many of them though we found the poolside menu not great taste wise. The rooms ar...

as a veteran expatriate hotelier i spend most of my life managing or visiting business hotels and resorts in far flung destinations around the world, and as someone who was turned off from pattaya many years ago by the poor quality hotels and seedy night life, it was with some reluctance and trepidation that i accepted my wife’s offer of a family holiday at the dusit r...

Fitness center unsuitable - outdated. Multiple fitness centers in the area - Muscle Factory, Tony's Fitness, & newer centers close to hotel. Beware if requesting a large family suite - the suites are not not in the tower building. During check-in - receptionist informed us 'Farangs' could not use the discount coupons for the buffet. I asked why they were attempting...

This hotel is really nice. We enjoyed everything they offered -- very nice room, jacuzzi on the balcony, 2-level swimming pool with slider, breakfast buffet was really great, cocktails were nice. The only 2 things that forced me to put only 3 stars for locations are 1) a municipal canal that runs through the backside of the hotel before the beach (water in that canal i...

B2 Hotels is a great chain of hotels located all around Thailand. This South Pattaya Hotel has a small swimming pool. It's located 5 minutes away from Walking street (using Bahts Bus or Motorbike Taxi waiting 50 meters outside the hotel). The one thing that could be improved is the check in process. It's TOO long! You have to fill in some form, they copy your passport,...

Siam Design hotel is one my favourite boutique hotels in Thailand. Bangkok is one of the best but in terms of pool their location in Pattaya with an amazing view of the sea, the beach and its skyline is truly an amazing experience. We are lucky to have a sunny day with crystal clear blue skies so we got a fascinating view. The rooftop pool has upper and lower deck loca...

Book from Agoda for about 54SGD per night. Selected this place as based on the price I get a huge space unit, free breakfast and a new place. Very resort feel lobby with all the resort furnitures, layout and setup. Check in was easy and fast as receptionist speaks good English. The rooms are in an apartment style building. The white color building somehow just didn't...

Having seen the other hotels, overall Aisawan was a great hotel for pattaya. It's a bit north, but it's only about 100 - 150 baht to cab to downtown areas. It has a private beach which is connected to the hotel and a really nice pool area. Great for families and away from the dirty parts of pattaya. I would stay there again if I was to go back to pattaya. HOtel it...

i visit pattaya twice a year and i have stayed at the top rated hotels. there is no hotel in pattaya that can compete with amari, it’s fabulous and the staff are so friendly and helpful. during our recent visit in july, we booked 2 rooms for 8 nights and for all nights we were upgraded to the ocean tower rooms, trust me, if amari has rooms which are more superior they ...

loved this hotel. we originally stayed 4 nights and then later came back for another 5 nights. the best thing about this hotel is the views. every room has an awesome view. they each have a balcony (most with a couple of chairs on them to sit and enjoy the view). the rooms are modern, clean and beautifully presented. the hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. the l...

This new hotel in Pattaya is state of the art, has some really nice touches like star lighting in the ceiling above the bed, not to mention the King bed is beyond a conventional king size and is quiet noticeably larger. To Western standard it is a comfortable medium firmness, certainly not soft but not rock hard like other hotels in Asia. The bathroom is quiet small b...

I can't speak highly enough of my experience here. Having traveled to Thailand and Pattaya many times before, I am very aware of the listing that promise a lot and deliver nothing. The Grass Suite was a complete shocker. This is a fairly new development with very nice apartment styled accommodations. The front desk staff was very friendly, polite, and informative. ...

I drove from Bangkok to Pattaya and was relying on Google maps for the location but on Google maps the address is wrong. It still takes you to the old Mercure. No worries, tried to call the hotel but website is unfriendly and had to call main office and was given the hotels' number. Got it easily once I was explained where it was. When making the booking I requested...

A brand new, very well appointed hotel with an amazing pool and private beach. The location is just outside Pattaya in the more relaxed comforts of Jomtien near the Pattaya Marina. About 400 - 500 baht for a taxi to Pattaya. The staff were all all very attentive and went out of their way to ensure we were looked after throughout our stay. The room had a spectacular...

I do not usually write a review for hotels I've visited but Navana is an exception as my overall experience here was spectacular. The facility has recently been opened for less than a year. The location is right off the Na-Klua rd., which is pretty convenient and the great thing is that it is right next to the beach. There are beach front pool villas here which I did ...

I am a huge fan of the Hard Rock franchise and have visited many of the restaurants and hotels. The Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya was no disappointment. This hotel is an oasis in the middle of a dirty and shady city. Don't get me wrong, Thailand has a certain reputation in certain spots but Pattaya goes above and beyond! I have traveled the world and visited some shady spots...

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel, located outside of the Central Pattaya area, however access through Taxis and Baht Bus is cheap and no problem. Close to Sanctuary of Truth. Suit families, large groups etc. A little bit impersonal, and in an area of Pattaya that is frequented by Russian Tourists (not a lot of English Speaking people). Would recommend this hotel, only ate...

I had 3 days at A-one Star hotel at Pattaya - Thailand , I felt so comfortable as well as cozy at this hotel , we had delicious breakfast at the restaurant of this hotel . Personally , I think this is one of the best hotel that I have ever had for my vacation at Thailand

Me and my girl friend stayed 2 nights at X2 oceanphere, it was the highlight of our entire Thailand trip. The hotel is very new and clean. The private pool is a little bit small, but still nice. The public swimming pool is sooooo good with nice view, clean pool water and quite environment. All the staff there were extremely friendly, the price of spa there was very aff...

For a 4 star hotel you are not going to get anything better!!! A brand new hotel that is immaculate, gym, sauna, nice pool area and a great room. We had a Superior room with a queen bed that was so comfortable. Buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of options English, Thai and Indian. Location is perfect, on a quieter street set back a little but walk 2 mins up the s...

it's absolutely wonderful time in this hotel for my holiday in thailand, pattaya. the room is quite nice and the price is so cheap, i get the superior room with a small price, i think. the hotel staff is so kind, and swimming pool is nice to swim as well..Above all the beach is just front of the hotel...buffet at night is quite cheap also..399 baht per person..but get ...

You just could not imagine that you could pay for less than HK$500 to get a four star hotel in Pattaya. Location is super; far away from the noisy walking street area, but located centrally at the city, that makes your travel time to other parts of Pattaya minimal. The hotel is located in a very quiet back street area. But this does not mean that it is hard to reach. W...

This resort is worth the money. It is a beach front resort. This resort is at in the Na Klua (Salt Farm) area north of Pattaya. You can see the Sanctuary of Truth from the hotel room. Since its away from the bustling Pattaya city, you can have some peace and quiet. Its a beach front resort so you don't have to cross the road. The pools are nice and modern looking...

it's a memorable experience staying in ibis pattaya hotel. at the price of usd 40, the hotel achieved more than what we expected. it takes only 5 minutes to walk to the beach. there are plenty of restaurants along the beach. if you are a show-person, don't miss tiffany's show which is just next door to the hotel. the show costs 600 thai baht and above. the hotel interi...

We book this hotel to make up for our Honey moon. I was quite sceptical of staying near Pattaya as I knew the beaches in Pattaya are too crowded for our comfort flooded by umbrellas and beach benches vendors. Location: The location was about 5-10mins drive from Jomtien beach, very near to Nongnuch park. When we reaches the Hotel, car park spaces was aplenty, theref...
