Great Helpful Staffs! I cannot speak Russian, all staffs are helpful in assisting us with Maxim Driver! One of them even go down the street with us to find the car! We are receiving 5 star hotel service at budget price! Great location with a 24 hours convenient store next to a few shops! You can walk there within 30 sec.!

The only drawback is if you are a backpacking and having really big bag yiu might need some effort to climb up 4 storey to reach this hostel. But overall I really enjoy my stay and highly recommend to anyone who travel to Moscow.

Our room at Chau Mama was a wonderful surprise. Spacious and well appointed, the room was delightful. The staff were helpful and obliging. Location is not perfect and admins could be slightly more polite. This said they are great, but there is room for improvement. This hostel is in my top 3 list In St Petersburg. Used to be the first but last two times admins were a little bit impolite (perhaps a bad day). I always book this place if there is no room in my favourite or second favourite hostels. A minus.....

Used to be the first but last two times admins were a little bit impolite (perhaps a bad day). I always book this place if there is no room in my favourite or second favourite hostels. A minus...I burned myself twice slightly In the shower (London style) because the hot water controller thingy is very hot (I accidentally touched it with upper arm). On other hand like in many other hostels their shower areas are wonderful. A lot of room, very good pressure and water can be adjusted to as hot as you please! Boil yourself if thats what you enjoy pain *wink wink*. I felt super clean and fresh. This place is peaceful, relaxed, clean and taken care of. I very much enjoy this place. PS: Admins... relax and smile... you look even more pretty that way )

Positive: - Nice staff, Good location and clean. - You can reserve transportation to Olkhon Island from hostel 1,000 RUB per trip Negative: - Upper bunk bed was too high, I scared to fall down when climbed to my bed - No separate Toilet/Bathroom for men and women - Hostel located on 2nd floor but you have to keep your shoes on 1st floor. I tried many times by used my Thai phone number, it doesn't work I never got any massages.

The convenience store is very near to the hostel, only 2 minutes walk. There's no need to worry about walking far to most of the place. The shopping street Nevsky prospect street is also just 5-10 minutes walk from the hostel. Like the location and the staff here. It's all very convenient and worth the money to stay

Value for money: Very reasonable price in the middle of the capital Location: Stone throw away from Kremlin and Cathedral Christ the Savior Cleanliness: Very clean, they provide free slippers. Staff: Very friendly, helpful, fun Facilities: Has everything as stated, good WiFi speed. Free tea, no coffee (just like any other Russian hostel)

I stayed one week in this hotel and it is one of the best value i had in Russia. It is a clean and quiet place in a quiet area not far from the center (many bus all day). All the equipment in the kitchen and rooms is perfect and the hoster really nice and helpful. I totally recomand this hotel.

The location is great. It is two stations away from red square. The facilities are good. The bathroom is cozy, quilt and sheet are clean. The public area is good and big enough. I stayed for 4 days and I could barely communicate with them. But the staff here can speak English and at least they ynderstand what I need. Staff Alena is a very nice and pretty girl, having a sweet and unforgettable smile that makes me happy throughout the whole day. Highlt recommend this hostel.

This was a great hostel with excellent value for the money. A few negatives are there is no good signage ( only a some postcard sized paper to identify the door) and it is on a fifth floor walk up which can be challenging with a lot of bags but the beds are soft, the rooms are warm, it was quiet and comfortable. There was some confusion at check in about payment but they made everything right and graciously allowed us to add a night on to our booking. From this location we could easily walk to the Palace Square, Hermitage, St. Isaacs Cathedral, Church on the Spilled Blood, Faberge Museum and much more! We had a blast in St. Petersburg and this hostel was part of the fun!

This hotel is such a nice treat! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the location is pretty good (about 20 mins walk to the main shopping mall in town, and lots of things to see along the way). And it’s affordable. Definitely value for money. I really enjoyed my stay there. Would recommend it to visitors to Irkutsk.

As soon as I arrived to Capsula Hostel, I felt truly at home! The administrators were really friendly and kind. The comfortable beds are inside a big room that is always kept dark and with the air conditioning on, which felt extremely nice given Moscow’s current heat streaks. The place is two blocks away from a metro station, and just one block away from the main river in the city. Finally, the hostel provides laundry service for 500 rubles, breakfast for various prices (depending on what you order), and every single day the administrators bake delicious treats which they sell for 100 rubles/piece. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely go backBnn

I almost feel bad writing a good review as I don't want many people to discover it and drive occupancy and prices up - but I guess.. sharing is caring.

A credit should be given to the front desk staffs that could speak fluent English and very accommodating to our request. We requested for an early check in which was considered by them as we arrived the hostel at 10 am after and overnight train from St Petersburg, despite the check in time at 2pm. The rooms, lounge and bathrooms are clean, the hostel provided washing machine and decent facilities at their pantry. The only downside of it, it is located at Level 6, and you've to climb stairs up till level 6 or you have to pay to the doorman to use the elevator. But after check out, the front desk will assist you to ride the elevator (fuhhh...)

Lived in the three nights to see the sea day, can cook their own, but the fire, however, we choose to buy in the supermarket ready to the hotel with a microwave heating, I seem to see three beautiful front desk, there is a beauty will be a little Chinese , His son Chinese good, eat and drink three nights four days so soon over

Easy to find, and is very central, close to many attractions. Plenty of food and supermarket nearby. There's always not enough cups or plates on the 2nd floor kitchen, and my food was stolen, half a jar of ajika sauce to be exact, it was in the fridge, labelled. Kitchen is cleaned daily. Wall is thin, you can hear everything. But I met the most amazing people in the ho...

Would recommend this place but bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper!

Honestly I don't know why there're so much bad review about this hostel . So far I stay here even just only 1 night , the staff is really helpful even she's not really good in English . She gave us an early check in without pay anything more (arrived in 6am) , and that's really awesome ! It's really nice ! You know the price is not expensive , so don't ever to expect ...

Went to Russia for World Cup. This property price is very good if compared to any other places. It's quite far from the venue, but the public transport is not that far. 10 minutes walk only, so I'm ok with that. The staff is nice and friendly even though I didnt speak their language. Room is clean and tidy. Got kitchen to hangout with other traveller.

This place is among my top 3 Hostels St Petersburg. Only thing I had trouble with was arriving and opening the gate with the gate code when arriving from Italyanskaja Uliza (usually I enter the code and hashtag after. This one was hashtag first and the code after. I had to wait few minutes for people to go through because my IQ is under 50. This place is peaceful, relaxed, good staff, clean, organised and they take care of their quests. I respect that very much. Out of 3 of my favourite hostels in St Petersburg this is my number one choice currently. I honestly very much recommend this place.

Rooms are clean, shared bathroom with 4 sinks and showers. Reception guy Nikita spoke fluent english, and girl next to him also when checked in. Easy to manage, easy to find, bar downstairs with amazing drinks selection. Metro is close as well as party streets, except the place is superquiet. Recommend.
