It was my first time here and I thought the place was great because of good reviews but it wasn't. The room I requested (aware that requests are subject to availability) should be near the fire exit with a nice view, quiet and mid-floor room. Yes the room on the 5th floor was near fire exit, but the view wasn't that pleasant to the eyes. There was constant loud banging of the doors, I assumed those were caused by either other guests or the housekeeping doing cleans at that time. Also brought with me my laptop since I work remotely and the wifi speed was horrible I couldn't even work properly. There are signs of wear and tear in the room, understandable that things like that are inevitable. At least do maintenance and repair checks frequently. Some wallpapers were peeling off, noticeable holes on the window blinds, dark spots on the mirror and had to ring the front desk as there were no towels for me to use. Also, the shower wasn't turning on so had to call front desk again. Someone came and helped tho. And the sink's drain was a bit slow. Lastly, I asked for a late check out to leave my valuables in my room, sadly I wasn't fully informed that my keycard would no longer work when I came back around 5:30 pm. Although I have been informed to pay 200php for the first two hours, my assumption would be paying roughly 600php only since I checked out at 6pm. The front desk collected 1,500php from me and did not bother to explain further.
