Hotel 115 is located in the center of city, 3 minutes away from a pedestrian area full of restaurants and cafes and has everything you need at a good price. The hotel is unique because it’s is part of a restoration project of Christchurch heritage light-rail. Basically, the hotel building is the old city light rail deposit, now converted to a covered shopping area with cafes, restaurants, tourist agencies and guess what... an active vintage light rail stop. Definitely something unexpected in the heart of Christchurch and a great stop for your photo memories and selfies. The comfort of the hotel is comparable to what the high end hotel chains offer and rooms are designed to give you a five star experience with high quality mattresses and linen. Bathroom are standard size and have a colorful touch. Staff is remarkable and ready to help you with your requests. Big plus is that the hotel has a big parking lot which is free after 5 pm until 9 am. The only minus is that I would improve the frigobar selection with local wines and some snacks.

Hotel 115 is centrally located in the heart of Christchurch where the earthquake decimated the city. We had a small room with big open windows and fresh light overlooking the government building. It was tiny, but still comfortable. The bed was firm and the bathrooms new and very clean. The only downside is that the room was on the first floor so we could hear the tram outside. Otherwise a very pleasant stay with free wifi and fresh fruit at reception for consumption

Quick pit stop”
We spent one night in Christchurch en route to Queenstown as part of a 2 week tour of NZ. 115 is centrally located with reasonable access to the airport, while the (remains of) Christchurch are on your doorstep. The hotel itself is modern and funky. Staff were very friendly and courteous, as well as being helpful for tips of things to do in the area, places to eat etc. The room was pretty small but did the trick for the purpose that we had in mind. Recommended if you have a short stay in the city, as we did

Hotel 115 is a comfortable place to stay. Staff is amazing and very friendly. Rooms are pretty clean and comfortable. wasn't quite sure about the bathroom with the shower curtain. Room had fast internet. it was dropping out after every hour or two but the reception was very helpful to re-activate it. I won't be posting anything negative as we all know what sort of struggle the beautiful city of Christchurch is going through. Looking at that, i would like to commend Hotel 115 for their services. Thank you very much for a very comfortable stay!!

Comfortable stay in a central location”
We stayed for 3 days in Hotel 115. The hotel is an excellent location, just a short stroll to the bus station in Colombo St. Many of the attractions in Christchurch are reachable on foot. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The room, though a bit small, is absolutely clean and cozy. The hotel interiors are also beautiful with a historic feel to them. The cute library (or book corner), shelf with travel brochures and the free coffee downstairs are pleasant additions on top of the nice amenities and service.

Good hotel in a good location with excellent front desk staff”
This 115 Hotel is located near to restaurants and shops in downtown Christchurch. The front desk staff recommended 27 Steps Restaurant down the shopping street and we had a wonderful dinner. All in all, out stay was wonderful. Note, if you park in the public parking next to the hotel, parking payment must be made before 8 am the following day or you will receive a NZ$40 ticket...ouch!

Hotel 115 was situated in a pretty central location in Christchurch. The interconnecting rooms we asked for was not really interconnected, as they were separate rooms, side by side, with an additional door outside these 2 rooms.

Great Location, Nice Rooms”
Practically beside the old Christchurch Cathedral, Hotel 115 is located in a great area in the city. Many interesting places are within walking distance. Rooms are clean and surprisingly large. Staff are very nice too.

Very good hotel with a good price”
The hotel location was really good especially if you visited Christchurch for the 1st time as it was close to the shopping mall, restaurants and supermarket. When we arrived after a long flight, they have made our room ready so we dont have to wait. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and chic and the bathroom has a good smell from the aromatherapy. Definately will stay in this hotel if one day we come back and will refer this hotel to our friends.

Clean, great location”
This hotel has clean, modern rooms in a great location. The rooms are small, but big enough to be comfortable for two people. The hotel is located a 5-10 minute walk from areas with restaurants and shops. This hotel is also a 5 minute walk away from the bus station that can bring you to/from the airport. Overall, I recommend this hotel for a quick or long stay in Christchurch!

Exceptional service for my Chinese speaking parents”
The hotel staff has been exceptional helpful. My Chinese parents can’t speak any English, hotel staff made sure there would be a Chinese speaking staff on site when they check in and proactively emailed me to let me know that they have successfully checked in. The whole service was very warmly done. Recommend it for anyone who is worried about their Chinese speaking family/friends who is travelling to Christchurch, you can have your peace of mind there!

Warm welcome ”
After walking 1.6km from the motel that told me to go away. I found hotel 115 as soon as I walked in reception knew I was a big flustered the first thing he did was make me a coffee and offer some food for me and told me to sit down and relax he will fix everything he couldn't get me in the room early but offered a comfortable seat and a strong coffee and let me sleep. When I got to the room it was small but comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel hands down. And is central to everything.

Nice spot to explore Christchurch from”
We stayed in this quant hotel to explore Christchurch from. The hotel is nice and close to the city centre and other attractions. The rooms were nice and spacious and comfortable and we even got our own balcony.. My only criticism is the lack of air-conditioning in the summer months.

Amazing stay!”
Loved this hotel so much! The staff were so lovely and kind - they upgraded us to a suite because it was our wedding anniversary and they even gave us a bottle of wine too. The suite was amazing. The whole look and feel of the hotel is like the photos. It's a Really great find, would definitely recommend. Great location too! We didn't want to leave! Should we ever be back we will definitely stay at 115 again.

The hotel is sparkingly clean, located perfectly at the city center, lots of restaurants and cafes around, very friendly and accommodating staff, a 24 hour convenience store nearby, and big plus is that one of the 17 stops of the city tour tram is just outside the hotel lobby. Perfect Location”
Loved that the tram passes right in front of the hotel lobby (don't worry its safe). The hotel is situated next to restaurants and cafes while bars and a few places of attraction such as the botanical gardens and the Canterbury Museum are walking distances away. Will definitely stay again if I visit Christchurch.

Good city Centre Hotel”
115 is right in the centre of the city and is of a good stranded. It is right next door to the tram stop. The rooms are good and clean, not to sure about the breakfast in the bedroom package, This hotel could be so much better if it had a little bar or somewhere to sit, as it is it lacks atmosphere and the reception is a bit unwelcoming in it,s appearance, however it,s okay for stopover or weekend break

Charming Getaway”
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel 115! .... Charming, Clean, Lovely, Comfy, Friendly... we felt both the charm of old-world but the comfort of up to date decor and bedding and amenities... reminded us of places we've stayed in Europe, which added to the charm. Fabulous location right downtown with superb dining choices within walking distance in all directions. Recommended!

Central, clean and convenient ”
Great location, so central in Christchurch with the Cathedral out the front and New Regent Street a short stroll out the back. Even the restaurants in the same complex were delicious.
