Stayed in a single room in level 2. The bed and attached bath room were very clean with no smell. The cabinet is actually with a pull-out desk for u to do your work. Staffs were helpful. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Noise challenges”
While the hotel itself was well kept and convenient, we really struggled with noise. The street is quite active at night which was very audible. By itself that would be fine but it is also next to a temple that had some type of morning announcements between 7 and 8 am, as well as a very noise garbage pick up daily between 6 and 7 am. Again, the place was fine in general but would not recommend for noise sensitive sleepers like myself.

Nice location - Food Haven!”
The hotel is nicely situated in between Outram & Chinatown MRT stations. It is along the stretch of all the nicest food in Singapore! The room was small but we booked the one with balcony.

Clean but noisy”
The room itself was very small, but it was very clean with soap, shampoo, kettle, hairdryer, tv with netflix, fast wifi and a/c provided. The bed was comfortable too. The sound insulation, however, was not great. We were on the 2nd floor and we could hear every noise outside the window (there's a bar directly below and beside the hotel, and it's next to a busy road). The noise carried on well past midnight even on weekdays, and when we were there, we were also awakened by the noise from the refuse collectors at 5/6 am. There were also other drunken guests who were screaming in the corridors/their rooms, but no one did anything about it. It may be because it's an old/listed building so the sound insulation isnt the best. We had earplugs but were still awakened by the noises. The reception staff weren't the most friendly or welcoming (they were professional but would not greet you even though we greeted them). The housekeeping staff though, were fantastic. They were polite, friendly, efficient and very professional. Overall, the hotel is somewhat on the pricier side for the size and facilities, but it is Singapore, it is a clean and private airconditioned space that is near 2 MRTs and lots of food.

Great location but!”
Very small rooms and if you do decide to book go for the Balcony room for a little bit of extra space. The Balcony rooms overlook the street which gives them a great atmosphere. The other rooms look at the concrete walls next door. The property itself has a damp smell throughout and there isn't a secure area to store luggage. It definitely needs a spruce up

Excellent location and friendly staff”
The hotel is a bit run down and my room had no working safe which is one of the main reasons i selected the hotel. My room was tiny. There is barely any space for 2 people to move around. The bed was comfortable and the tv has YouTube and Netflix so good bonus there. The hotel is really close to the Outram Park MRT and Chinatown. And is surrounded by some high end cocktail bars and restaurants. I found the staff very helpful but there are no real amenities in the hotel.
