Wonderful litlle resort on a "working beach"”
We could only spend two days here, and they were wonderful. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean and provide a porch right on the beach (if you opt for this category).Bathroom is spacious too, but is one room with the entry hall and wardrobe - a little bit unusual. The garden is well-kept, the beachfront restaurant offered good food and a buffet style breackfast. The CONS: The beach is a fishermen's beach. They come back early in the morning and go out at dusk. Both is associated with quite some noise from the boats and the trucks that come right on the beach to pick up the catch. So the water quality is not so good and it can be noisy. However, this provides veru romantic vistas and lots of photo opportunities. The big Ngapali Beach with many resorts can be reached by a 5-minute walk, if the tide is low. Here, the water qualtiy was excellent.

Paradise from the bedroom!”
An amazing experience! To wake up to the view of garden, palm trees, sand & sea is superb! Stroll for breakfast ... sunbed ... rest ... walk on the beach, enjoy some fruit ... watch the people go through their day's work - everyone so simple, polite, genuine, helpful irrespective of the language barrier, sunset! The only one suggestion for ACE Ngapali Beach is to have their restaurant serve food throughout the day/evening without the need to inform them that one would be dining there and to improve the wifi strength! Otherwise well done - I'm in love with this place.

Quiet and relaxing”
I stayed here with a friend at the end of a two week tour of Myanmar and we were not disappointed. Our first floor room looked out over the garden and beyond that, the sea (I would recommend asking for a top floor room). The room was huge with a large balcony and the bed were very comfortable. The hotel is not on the main, long Ngapali beach but on a cove around the corner. This was a plus point in my opinion - the beach was deserted, we were away from the bulk of the tourists yet the restaurants and bars of the main beach were only a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride away.

Superb”
Really enjoyed staying here in a great location right on a really nice beach with a lovely outlook. Not as touristy as the main beach just south which is great and at times had beach all to ourselves or there are more locals going about their business than tourists. Dod not understand negative comments no smells of fish and breakfast really nice. All in all as far as Ngapali is concerned and after seeing the other hotels locations I felt that Hotel Ace was the best located place to stay, away from main strip of resorts but these are easily accessible and great restaurants only 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes bike ride away. Stayed here for a week and all was superb.

Very nice hotel, location perfect”
We loved that this hotel was around the bay from the main beach but just a short walk or bike ride away. This cove had fishing boats and rock pools to explore and a local village so welcoming to share their lives of drying fish and coconuts. We would definitely recommend this hotel and the boat trip snorkelling to Pearl island. We hired bikes and cycled along the one main road alongside Ngapali Beach right to the end (very very bumpy by the time you reach the village!)

Good value and service with a smile”
I like it right in the middle of the Lintha Village as opposed to in isolated resorts-zone. There are fishing boats on the stretch directly facing the hotel as opposed to being necessarily an isolated beach with the best sand at this part of the beach - it depends on what you like. Friendly service and I like the feeling that I didn't pay double the price for more frills. I was pleasantly surprised to be picked up at the airport when I had actually forgotten to inform the hotel of my flight's landing time or other details. Do go on a boat trip to Pearl island, but maybe drink instead of eat at the pricey Lobster Restaurant if you are price sensitive. As you get good food anywhere at Ngapali Beach.

Recommend This Resort”
The resort is located on a small beach with powdery sand next to the main Ngapali Beach. There is a fishing village right next door & we found the whole fishing process incredibly interesting to watch & did not find the boats too noisy at all. The rooms are very large as are the bathrooms. The verandah is excellent and has a great view of the beach (we stayed on the 2nd floor). The rooms are very clean & have TV, fridge & coffee making facilities. There is WIFI at reception but we had a 5 day break from the internet & only used on our last morning checking out. We chose Crescent Cove as it was the cheapest on Agoda & we were extremely happy with our choice. We totally recommend this place & would return.....enjoy the purple...

Beautiful hotel located near a secluded beach”
We loved our stay at this hotel!First of all, they picked us up at the airport and took care of everything (immigration formalities, luggage, etc) and we were greeted with fresh watermelon juice upon our arrival. We were really amazed by the size of the room and pleasantly surprised that our garden view room was actually also a sea view room! The hotel was very quiet and quite empty. The location is ideal as it is located on a secluded beach (there is only one other hotel on this beach) so you literally have the beach for yourself! There are very few tourists and lots of locals and fisherman's so it's great to get a feel on how they leave.Yet, we did smell a little bit of fish while eating our breakfast in the morning but it wasn't overwhelming. The first morning we had a buffet breakfast which was quite poor but the next mornings we could order anything and we had some great pancakes, fried eggs, local dishes and fresh fruit juice so it made up for the first day.We also rented bikes to visit the surroundings although it is also possible to walk about 10-15min to reach restaurants and souvenir shops. My two complaints would be the hours of the breakfast (7 to 9am) and also the fact that the toilet is not separated from the shower and the sink. But in overall it's an amazing hotel for great value and I would highly recommend it!

Fantastic room right on the beach”
Actually I went to this hotel with my mother but the closest category I could find for that was 'Families with older children'... Anyway, we had a fantastic stay here, we absolutely loved it. When I booked I thought I had just booked one of the rooms in the main building but when we arrived we found that it was actually a wonderful huge bungalow right on the beach. It was beautiful, all wood and a lovely design with a shaded terrace looking over the sea. Amazing value. The beach itself as others have mentioned is a working beach but we really enjoyed seeing the fishing boats going out and in and certainly weren't disturbed by it. We liked being away from the main beach which is a bit touristy although it's gorgeous. You can easily walk there along the road although I recommend going around the headland at low tide to see some weird and wonderful rocks (I think they're fosilised corals). You can also get there by continuing to walk along the little road that leads to reception. You will go past some abandoned army barracks then you have to cross a stream. Again this is best done at low tide or the stream will be quite deep but this is by far the quickest way to get there. The food at the restuarant was great, really fresh and tasty and we didn't bother going anywhere else. Their cocktails were pretty good too and the breakfast was really nice. Espcially liked the pancakes and coffee. The only very small issue I have with the hotel is that they turned off the air conditioning in the middle of the night. It wasn't hot in the room but the change always woke us up and also without it mosquitoes started honing in on us. This is the only thing I would like to change about a wonderful trip.

Truly wonderful”
Ace is at a perfect spot on the beach -- near a fishing village but with great swimming when the tide is in, not at all crowded, and very clean. We had a beach front villa/room, which was huge and clean and wonderful. There was no fishy smell at all -- that's a place down the beach. The one thing they haven't quite figured out is the food (breakfast is basic, best to order dinner well beforehand to avoid long wait) but we got around that by going to a place down the beach. Would definitely stay at Ace again. My one quibble was the charge for an extra bed for our child -- they wanted $50 a day (got them down to $40, but still, it was very high).

Great location - great hotel”
Had 4 perfect relaxing beach days. Beach is much smaller than adjacent Ngapali beach. Only 2 hotels and 3 bars/restaurants and ca. 30 local fisherboats. Housekeeping service has 5* quality, breakfast unfortunately not so... Airport transfer (ca. 10 min)is overpriced. Hotel charged 8 US$ per person (with 5 in bus...)

Nice Hotel by the beach”
We enjoyed a lot our the 4 nights we stayed in Hotel ACE. It was peaceful. The breakfast was great, you could choose among a wide selection. The room was big, clean (they clean 2 a day, and more if required) and with views to the beach. We recommend the second floor, since the views are better. The staff was lovely and able to sort out our request. They booked for us a plane ticket, a boat trip and of course they provided bikes (it is very cheap). It is not a cheap hotel, but it deserves.

Incredible location, but not well kept”
This was our 2nd time staying at ACE, and both times we had a beach front room. The rooms are huge, and there's a wrap-around porch which is lovely in the mornings and evenings - shady, right on the beach. They've finished the pool, which is beautiful and clean. The staff is helpful, but their English is limited. They have bikes and snorkeling gear to rent, and it's a short ride down to the next village where there are good cafes on the beach. Crescent Cover, where this hotel is, used to have 2 nice, little beach restaurants, but the government made them move so you have to eat at the 2 hotels that are there if you want to stay on that beach. The snorkeling off the beach, when the visibility was good, was great. Not a lot of fish, but a variety of coral, and interesting "landscape" with the rocks. Out of 5 days, there were 2 with poor visibility, and 3 that were very clear. There are rocks right in front of the hotel where you can go in, and then at the other end of the beach is another nice area. There are guys with boats who can take you out to nearby places, but we like the snorkeling here just fine. Now for the down sides. The rooms are all-wood construction, and the flooring was put down without any subfloor. This means that the boards were starting to fall through in the room - we had two of them that were serious hazards, and two more than gave way under our feet as we walked over them. This meant we had to be careful of where we were walking at all times, including the middle of the night. Also, the shelf in the shower that used to be there was gone, with just the supports sticking out of the wall. The breakfast was just so-so. Everything was quite oily, and cold, despite being in trays that were supposed to be kept warm. The first morning there was no buffet, and they fixed us what we asked for. But the toast was cold, and the eggs were greasy. All the other mornings there were enough guests that they had the buffet out, but all the warmers below the d

Beautiful Beach-Front Hotel Off the Tourist Beat”
I loved everything about the Crescent Cove Resort. The room was impressively big and clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful with any and all questions I had, the food at the restaurant (both local-style and Western) was very good and well-priced, and the location is perfect if you want to avoid the extremely touristy main beach stretch, but still have beautiful white sand and water just outside your door. It is a bit far north if you are wanting to walk to the village to the south of the hotel circuit, but there were plenty of motor taxis and locals willing to pick you up for a cheap fare (or even for free in my case!).

Wonderful location and wonderful staff ”
Large, spacious room, with huge bathroom and balcony overlooking the beach and hotel gardens. Furnished well with good taste. Staff could not have been more pleasant. Great standard of English, helpful, cheerful. Breakfast was huge with eggs and pancakes, fruit and juice. Hotel opened a year ago and everything worked, including hot water and electricity. Location on small beach by fishing fleet and only issue was the fleet coming in at 7am but as long as you like to watch that, the engine noise does not matter.

Great beachfront location”
It was difficult for the taxi driver to find because it operates under the name Hotel ACE but the sign out front says Crescent Cove Resort. This cove is isolated from the main beach and is a busy spot for local fisherman. As such, it's a more unique experience. You get added seclusion and privacy and a chance to see locals going about their everyday lives. The seafood is the freshest and the best I had in the country.

Hotel Management”
This hotel has the premier location in Ngapali Beach. The units are spacious but badly designed as you enter the unit through the toilet. Not pleasant for residents or visitors. The grounds have a partially built swimming pool, a mound of bricks and numerous stacks of rubbish. There is a distinct lack of management attention to the running of this hotel which shows in the bookings figures. The dining facility is ok but the food was of a poor standard and we only had one evening meal and went next door after that. We were not alone the dining area was empty every evening. This is a great pity as I believe with a moderate investment and a professional management eye from the groups head office this could become one of the prime places to stay in the area with good returns on the investment. What a waste.

Hidden gem, but polluted beach”
It is a great place. Nice large rooms, though the hot-water showers is more of a trickle than a real shower, but you get used to it and is not so bad after all. In all a good place with a nice breakfast including omelet and toast made in front of you within minutes of ordering. Just about all visitors, not only this hotel, have lunch and dinner along the main road (Rose, Green Umbrella, Maison de mer). Only bad experience is the lack of understanding of the cleanliness of the beach. Like in most of Myanmar (and most developing countries) plastic containers and glass is all over the place. I suggested to the manager that they have a morning beachcomber to clean up the beach, not just outside the hotel, but along the small cove. Also to instruct the fishermen to not just throw glass bulbs from their boats into the sea so they either crash or float ashore for anyone to step on.

it was a very nice location and Ngapali is beautif”
The stay was nice. Breakfast was not very good. The room was beautiful but we had to pay 50$ extra for an upgrade. The beach is nice but the many fishers cause some noise and smell. On the other hand it is a very intersting cultural experience. Ngapali is a beautiful place and the people in the hotel and around it a very friendly.
