Located in the heart of Nagoya's bustling Sakae area, this clean, cozy and well-maintained hotel offers comfortable beds and a good value for money. The friendly and professional staff is always ready to help and provide excellent service. Guests can enjoy amenities bar, free coffee, and an easy check-in/out process. The hotel is conveniently located near convenience stores and restaurants, as well as being in close proximity to public transportation, including Sakae metro station. I enjoyed my stay, excellent location as close to Sakae subway station about 3-4 mins walk. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk, very polite. A big thanks to Suzaku and some other staff who has given me some pointers to see the Cherry Blossoms and have been very helpful and patient. Their English is good which helps with communication. Hotel has great facilities, toiletries, variety of nice teas and coffee, hairbrush, toothbrus and toothpaste, daily towels, face lotion and cleansers, etc. The room has a strong smell of cigarette when I walked in which made me cough. The good thing is they have an Air Diffuser in the room, also I can open the window to clear the smell. The Sakae area has many bars around and a bit dirty in the area. There are tons of restaurants and shops around and in the subway, makes it very convenient to stay in this area. The food in Sakae area is cheaper than Nagoya station. It is a great area to stay. I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at Hotel Actel Nagoya Nishiki for four nights during my solo trip, and it was a great experience overall. The location is incredibly convenient—right in the heart of Nagoya with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping spots. It made exploring the city really simple and efficient. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and felt safe, which was important for me as a solo traveler. The room, while compact (as expected in Japan), was thoughtfully designed and had everything I needed: a comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and amenities like a humidifier and a well-equipped bathroom. Staff were polite and helpful, even with the language barrier. I also appreciated the secure keycard access to the elevator, which added an extra layer of security. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in Nagoya—especially for solo or business travel—I'd definitely recommend Hotel Actel Nagoya Nishiki. Would stay again!

we enjoyed our last stay as a family (3rooms) here 6 months ago so we rebooked again to enjoy relax time as a couple. there was a slight miscommunication due to language barrier. I selected 2 single beds and nonsmoking from the booking details options before paying. After full payment, I messaged the hotel to confirm that my room had 2 single beds. the one who answered thought i was inquiring for another room. Pro tip: use Google Translate or ChatGPT. Also, the hotel changed policy without informing me. the welcome drink was 2 bottles of water and they will not replenish daily anymore. For such a nice hotel, scrimping on drinking water for its guest was very disappointing for my part. The room itself was clean and spotless. the bathroom was as good as I remembered it. The unli coffee and amenities bar had new items. i think the star of this hotel was the awesomely helpful staff. they helped me; 1. find awesome sushi bars within 5 mins of the hotel 2. lent us an iron even if none was available, the staff borrowed 1 from another room and lent us at 11:30pm 3. cancelled a lunch reservation for us bec we were feeling under the weather. without charging us cancellation fee. All in all, it was still a great experience. maybe the only reason we won’t book again is because we might want to stay in another part of Nagoya but I recommend Hotel Actel for 1st time Nagoya visitors. only 350 meters away from Sakae Station, a Donki, 2 daily yamazaki kombini stores, Sugakiya, Komeda’s Coffee, Yaro Ramen, and a lot of malls and eating options. thank you again for a great stay!

Water was provided every day before, but due to instructions from my boss, water is only provided on the check-in day. I am very sorry. I haven't explored Nagoya enough, but I've only visited the famous places and I think there isn't a better location for accommodations than this one. Nagoya Station felt a bit complicated, which made it hard to navigate, but this place is easy to find, and there’s a Don Quijote and a Ferris wheel nearby, making it convenient to explore. Unfortunately, since my room was on the side, I couldn't see the Ferris wheel from the window at night, but it was always in sight when I went out, so I didn't have any particular complaints. The amenities were diverse and there was a bathtub, so I could make good use of bath salts. However, even though it was a non-smoking room, there was somewhat of an odor, but this was manageable to some extent with an air purifier. I stayed for two nights and was satisfied.

Pros: Price is reasonable when compared with hotels nearby. Room is super clean. As a single room it is big enough to open your small suitcase (the 7 KG one) by the room door. Toilet and bathroom actually in the same room but it is nice that there is a bathtub. Looking outside from the windows, the view is basically buildings. Oh, if it is a sunnay day, you can get a limited view of sunset. (Too) many restaurants nearby. (Too) many covenience stores nearby. (Too many) stores nearby that you can buy whatever you want, from groceries to luxuries. It feels like the hotel is located at the town centre. In terms of hotel itself and the location, it is worthy more than the price. Cons: The area nearby is super noisy and with way toooo many clubs (even considering that it is a "red light area"). If you come back late at night, say 10PM, you will get invited by people who stand at the exit of the nearby train station, asking if you would like to spend a night with the girls. But it gets back during the weekdays. Also, super duper dirty streets and roads when compared with the normal standard of Japanese streets and roads.
