Loved it!”
I had a great time at this little hotel, a fabulous location, clean simple facilities, comfortable beds and quaint rooms. There is one set of stairs to get up to reception, then they have a lift. I found it absolutely perfect for a 5 day stay and would recommend it. All the staff were very kind and friendly. Clean as a whistle! Thank you for a great stay :)

Nothing to complain! I was worried about the bed since I read about bed bugs but I slept really well without any bites!

Great location and great staff”
The staff here were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. Almost on top of Chatelet Les Halles metro station . Surrounded by shops and restaurants and within easy walking distance of central paris

Great location, modest accommodations”
If you want a convenient location to travel to from CDG Airport and be able to quickly reach other Paris destinations by the RER (train) this is your hotel. Very reasonably priced with access to the central Les Halles train station only half a block away and LOTS of shops and restaurants within walking distance. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel this is not for you. But for someone like me who just wants an easily-accessible place to sleep at night with lots of nice restaurants close by, this is perfect. Priced right for the accommodations and priced VERY WELL for the location. Friendly staff, facilities a bit dated but clean, location and access to the rest of Paris EXCELLENT.

Location was everything”
Happy with the stay because of the fantastic location. The hotel has friendly staff and cleaning was good, but the rooms are tiny and the internet was so slow that it was impossible to work from the hotel.

Expensive due to Paris Fashion Week / World Cup”
All the hotels were kind off booked out during the week I was there. Fortunately, I still managed to get a room. The location is right in the middle of Les Halles so it is fantastic. Unfortunately, I have to say it is not value for money mainly because of the period I was there.

Very good”
A minute walk to the Forum Les Halles which is a very convenient shopping area. With monoprix dept store and supermarket. Also has a pharmacie. Lego for the kids. Zara Bershka etc...for those who want to shop around a bit. The most important thing, underground is connected with RER A, B and D. B being the direct train to Charles de Gaulle Aeroport. Also just a stop away from Gare du Nord RER B and D. Also serves quite a number of metro lines that will make your life easier if you don't like walking. The hotel location is the best if you like to be in a jolly mood. Hotel Area is packed every night with lots of pLaces to eat. Notre-Dame is just 10mins away by foot and the Louvre just about 12mins. Perpendicular to Rue de Rivoli and Rue St Honore where the high-end brands are. But be warned that the hotel is truly small even for Paris standards, they have bigger rooms tho with balcony. It's very basic. Staff is helpful. Just ask politely. A definite reco. - elevator for 1 pax on 2nd floor

The good and bad”
Stay here because of its location and only 11 stops from airport as it’s right next to chalet le halles. However the room is smal, there is no elevator u til second floor you will have to walk upstairs with your luggage, the elevator is too small to fit a regular size suitcase. The shower is also only 2x2 feet and very small opening in door so if you are over 200 pounds or are handicapped etc I would not stay here for reasons mentioned.

Great location ”
Hotel Agora is in such a fantastic location. Plenty of reasonably priced restaurants right outside your door, a supermarket, les halles metro station is 100 metres from the hotel which is such a bonus. As for the hotel, it's small, a little tired but clean. Our room was very small but my understanding that that is common in Paris. We had a cute little balcony that you could actually step out onto. When the doors were closed we couldn't hear any street noise at all. We stayed for 4 nights and paid $670AU. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Small room and noisy.”
The room and the bathroom are very small. The front desk is not on the ground floor and the elevator does not serve the ground floor. You have to carry your baggage up and down the very narrow spiral staircase. We stayed several nights and the street noise ftom the neighboring bars was very loud late into the night every night.

Disappointing service and customer response”
Location and facilities were not bad but service was very disappointing. We were stayed 2 nights in triple room and 1 night in 2 rooms. Second day, a cleaning man visit at 10:19 in the morning even before finishing the breakfast time. So my kid asked him to come 1 hour later but he just stayed in front of door and said ‘No English’. She had just came out from the bath(I was not in the room at the moment) so she was embarrassed and closed the door. I came back 5min later and hung the ‘shhhhh’ sign. But I couldn’t understand why the cleaning person came that early. We would stay more night and the check-in time was 3pm. We went out before noon and I changed the sign as ‘Come’ before leaving. When we came back at 9:30 pm and I was shocked because they did NOT clean the room at all. I called to reception and claimed. A staff checked and said she could serve more towels if we needed. It was very bad experience. When I checked out, the last day morning, I claimed about it and a staff said that the hotel could provide free breakfast for us. However I reserved rooms including breakfast and paid more. I said that. Then she said ‘sorry we couldn’t do anything except this.’ It was very disappointing response. Actually it meant they would do nothing about our inconvenience. If they could serve free breakfast then they should refund at least one day breakfast. But the response of BCN hotel was unfair and ridiculous. Also their cleaning person and service system are bad enough.

Could use some sprucing up”
I felt like I was staying in a teenagers bedroom, or a dorm room. I am used to small rooms, but neon green is not a restful color. Put a nice bedspread in, more than one pillow, and upholstered chair. You can change the size, but the room could be made charming and more cozy and welcoming.

Good location but small and eerie vibe. ”
Good location, that I would give. A lot of halal restaurant nearby. And clean room. But aged furniture, my cupboard door broken. Small room. The shower area very small, very. The lift and lobby is at 1st floor. U have to walk up the spiral stairways to the lobby, difficult if u have a lot of lugagges. No staff offer to help.

Tiny rooms tiny bathroom terrible staff no AC”
The room was ridiculously small i barley fit in the shower and i had to argue with the staff for 2 and a half hours through Google translate because they don't speak English to get the air conditioning working, and they never got it to work. They promised me a refund which never happened nor did any compensation for sleeping in a boiling hot room, i paid for a hotel room not a sauna.

sorry but all our staff speak English , about the AC it's verry Strange because you have all instructio in the room (french English chinesse and italiano) and any personne not inform us that the AC not working many thanks
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms & great bed!”
We stayed for 4 days, and LOVED it! The room was clean and tidy, with 2 plugs and a fan. Balcony overlooked the busy restaurants outside. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful - from the minute we arrived until we left. Victor helped us carry our bags up to the room (lots of stairs from ground floor to reception at 1st floor, then lift from there upwards) - My daughter's feet got severly swollen up from the heat and all the daily walking, and Camille at reception, gave us ice and a bucket to bath her feet in. They kept our luggage the day we arrived (we arrived at 10h00 & could only book in at 14h00) so we left the laggage there and went off to explore Paris. Also the day we left, they kept it safe till 19h00. Thank you! Location is VERY convenient with Le Halles 50m away. Noisy & busy at night, but we enjoyed the buzz & windows is 95% soundproof if closed. Franprix just accross the hotel. We felt safe and welcome.
