Good with price ”
We have a book standard room not included breakfast. When we want to have a breakfast. We need to pay 9 Euro more per person, but we didn't take it. We have a breakfast by cafe in Tram station. It's very good ,cheap and free wifi. The hotel easy to find . When you go out from tram station . The hotel is opposite . You need to take a little bit time from hotel to the center. The room was very clean. TV can't use. Not to far from main train station . Near there no have supermarket. You need to buy everything before you come back to hotel, but in hotel have water and some snake Maschin.
Good location friendly staff big room very clean.”
Great location with good access to city and train from Budapest..friendly helpful staff..big clean room comfortable bed...some roadworks nearby but no issue night time..will stay again.
Close to the Central Railway Station and Wien Meidling”
If you look for a cheap accomodation opposite the Matzleinsdorfer Platz train station and you do not need to have Wifi in your room (signal is too weak) then it is a good choice. One thing to mention is that they are not using a mattress cover, only a thin bedsheet.
Good transport links and value for money ”
The hotel is across the street from a station that runs regular trams to the central ring road (heading towards Oper, number 1 and 62 I think). This made it really easy to get to central Vienna, Schonbrunn Palace and Hauptbahnhof. Really nice staff and they were very accommodating when we asked to move rooms because wifi was poor in our first room.
Big room, cleanliness, close to public transportation ”
We just stayed for a night in Vienna. We found this place was suitable for our trip. Easy to access to under ground and train station. But in the room was pretty cold or maybe we left the door open. We were not sure! Overall, everything is good for us.
Good hotel, close to tram/train station.”
We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Allegro after staying in several hostels and apartments in east Europe - which were not pleasant. So was good to have pleasant experience with Hotel Allegro. Location is good with tram/train station although not too close to city center.
The Allegro Vienna is a nice City Hotel ideal for School classes and backpackers. It is conveniently located right opposite the Train Station Matzleinsdorfer Platz which is a Major traqnsport hub in Vienna
Great location between two major stations!”
I was arriving in late at Meidling station by train from another European destination and was looking for something that wasn't far so I wouldn't have to trek through the streets at night looking for my accommodation. This hotel was perfect! About a minute walk from the station, staff was available at reception for my late arrival, room size was the most generous size I have accounted for a single room (same goes for the bathroom: it was huge!). Despite being on a main street corner and opposite the train station, outside noise was minimal (obviously great sound-proofed windows are used). I didn't rate the food highly at all for my review but that's only because I didn't have anything to eat. The complimentary water fountains in the lobby are convenient and highly appreciated by any weary traveller.
Value for money”
We booked the hotel at a very good price. We had a big room with airco (we didnt use it). We were a bit worried about the noise as some reviews had concerns, but the windows were really good and the noise didnt distrub me. Must say the crossroad is really busy so its not completely silent, especially when the morning traffic starts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel location isnt central, but there are 2 very good tram connections to bring you in town. We parked our car on the road a bit further, as everything downtown has short time parking only (except saturday afternoon and sunday). There is also a parking lot available at an affordable price. Free wifi worked ok. Traveling a lot to different places, i found this a great value for money. Do keep in mind it is basic, no luxury.
Summer in Wien”
We enjoyed our stay in Wien with my girlfriend. The hotel was nice and close to the center. Only 15 minutes walk from the train station. The room was quite big for a double bedroom so I was very happy with the space. We had air condition as well. Only thing I miss is a minibar or small fridge in the room to store some cold drinks in it, for the price of the room that should be included.
good value city hotel with great rooms”
The hotel is outside inner city of Vienna but we are literally 2 mins walk from the closest metro station. The rooms are incredibly well kept great value for 3 star hotel and comfortable, cleaned up to a great standard. This hotel allowed us to explore Vienna happily, we highly reccomend this to anyone visiting Vienna!
The only good thing is next to the train station”
Located next to a train station (tram, metro, hi-speed), very convenient to travel around (6km to the center of Vienna) Our room is unnecessarily spacious (lot of useless space) and lacks basic things like a fridge, water heater, tea cup, tea & coffee, iron. Lacking light at nights (the standing lamp is broken). The hotel has no Queen-sized bed so if you travel as a couple like us you have to accept twin beds. The coffee machine downstairs were broken during our 4-day stay without any repairing. The water vending machine were also unusable. The wifi is free but very restricted in settings, unable to play or download games properly. You can use it for 20-30 mins before it became down for 5-10 mins.
Something kept broken”
On the first day, bathroom door broke and we switched the room. Bathroom window in the new room broke the next day. But Rooms are spacious which is quite nice to move around. And unlike Google map, you can go to metro(S-bahn) in like, 3 minutes without detour. It's very in front of the hotel. Overall, they provided what we asked and the receptionist at nighttime was kind. But can't say most of the receptionist were nice. One time when I said simple 'hello', male receptionist replied "He(other customer) came before you" in a condescending manner.
Good for a short say”
This hotel is ok for a short stay and it"s good value for money in Vienna. You get a clean room and there are all basic facilities you need. But don"t expect too much comfort or a romantic location.
basic hotel at convenient location ”
convenient traffic, big bathroom of quadroom，good package storage services
Bad front desk service ever”
The front desk lady is ( may be Thai lady) the worst service provider. We have seen in the net that they have car parking but she said we have to look ourself around the hotel. Though in the morning other staff said that the have parking facility with 15 € per night. Very noisy! Basically I had to woke up very early and ended up with nice headache.
Okay budget hotel”
We booked a double room but was told there wasn't any available and we were given a single room instead. The room was small but the bathroom was big. It's located just across the street from the tram and train station and getting to the city center was easy.
It is a Motel”
heating in the hotel is not good, change another room with better heating (still cold) but no internet connection. lift only to 4th floor, another floor need to go up by stair. The door of the room is not sound proof and wind proof (you can feels the cold wind coming in at the bottom of the door). Ask the staff to fix the internet, told to wait for 1 hour or maybe more (I don think somebody is fixing it). Do not stay in this "Motel".
Our Stay was alright but if I was to go back would look at other options. Even though the hotel was near to the Tram/Train station it takes a while to get to the center as the train from the station ( S-Bahn Trains) do not go into the city so have to get to a station which has underground metro lines. The hotel is also right next to a busy intersection and even though it is stated that noise proof windows are available it doesn't help, Hence it was very noisy all parts of the day. The area the hotel is situated is also not very touristic and didn't exactly seem that safe in the night if you wanted to go for a walk.
