Unbearably bad just spend some more and stay elsewhere”
Cockroaches and rats infested , broken AC, had to change the room at 11 in night, TVs dont work. Broken fridge, unkept building . The staff is nice but they can hardly do anything with such a bad infrastructure. Location is good but there are loads of hotels around. Just spend a little more and get a better hotel

LATE POSSESSION OF ROOM , NO WIFI , NO HOT WATER”
Booking ref no. 332944597.-- I was expected to get room on 25/02/2019 at 12 noon. I reached the hotel at about 2 p.m. However I was told to wait as the rooms were not vacant. I was given the possession at about 3.30 p.m. on 25/02/2019. What is the use of advance booking.? The free wifi at the hotel was not working even during previous visit to the hotel. In spite of cold climate , hot water (rather warm water) was available hardly for 1 hour in the morning. During Last time visit they gave us hot water through buckets for bathing. I am booking this hotel because it is convenient for my business. I did not report the difficulties I had during my last visit as I thought it may be one off situation. All services are good. Hygiene and cleanliness is maintained here. Above it, staff are very courteous and helpful and always ready to serve you in a better way.
Cons- staff does not respond to complaints soon, i had requested for hot water during stay but had to finally use the cold water. Cockroaches running about in the room, cleanliness not maintained. Suffocating cigarette smoke even if u have not smoked. Pro- good connectivity

The stay was below the mark. First, while booking through Agoda, the name of the hotel was mentioned as 'Le Traventino'. After much travel finding the hotel we realized the name changed to 'Amaltas'. Before starting the journey, I called the hotel but none picked up the phone. Then with the help of Agoda customer care, a local representative confirmed the reservation. There was not running hot water in 3 out of 4 nights of our stay. When it came, it was too slow for shower. The water flow (both hot and cold) was very feeble throughout the stay. They did not give a room heater; neither did they tell us that it is available on request. It was arranged only after my wife complained about cold. Same thing happened about room cleaning. On second day, after returning at night, we found the room as we left in the morning. They cleaned only after requesting. Worst thing happened during checkout. They charged a lot of money for a room service dinner, which was much higher than the market price (they charged Rp850 for a dinner, one similar to which we had earlier with only Rp500 from another up-scale hotel). They even charged us for a bottle of water, which was supposed to be complementary. And finally the worst part. A person (probably the owner) in the front desk requested if we wanted a taxi on our way to the airport. I already knew about the taxi fare from the hotel, as I took one from the airport to the hotel. The prepaid taxi cost only 270 rupees. I assumed, even if a more expensive taxi was hired, it would not cost more than 500 rupees (in fact a person in the hotel also said it would be less than 500 rupees). But when checking out, I realized that they charged 1000 rupees for a taxi. I denied paying 1000 rupees, eventually they agreed on 800 rupees, which was at least 500 rupees more than the actual market price. I had a feeling that they are actually thieves. I felt cheated. So, I suggest future visitors not to go for this hotel.
