Ideal for 1-2 night accomodations”
We are pleased if we do not count the irritating noise coming from at the edge of the room wall. Breakfast, staff and all other things were as it meant to be. I would not recommend you to stay in a room with a wall facing outside of the building. There was kind of machinery noise(AC Motor IMO) all the time which we were able to sleep barely.

Excellent location and hotel”
Every aspect of my stay at the Strudlhof Hotel was positive. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and clearly accustomed to dealing with tourists. The quiet location of the hotel makes for a very relaxing stay. Proximity to the town centre and public transport is a definite plus. The breakfast is first class and it is convenient to have it served from 6:30 AM when you are working in Vienna.

The hotel is placed in an excellent position right in the heart of Vienna. The room are quite spacious, the furniture new , internet connection reasonably fast and the breakfast had a good quality and variety of choices. The staff was moreover very helpful too.

I found the staff to be friendly and professional. The room was really clean. Aircon. worked well. Although the Hotel is in a side street it has great Public transport within a minute of two , on every side. Frequent tram services make travelling around Vienna simple from here.

Very nice hotel for a very nice price”
Booked this on an Agoda deal, and even though not smack in the middle of town, got a great price, like 2 euros more each than a hostel twin room would have cost, plus superb buffet breakfast included. Coffee was not excellent, but couldn't complain about anything else. Large room, comfy beds, rooftop views. Toilet and bathroom separate. And a shower that doesn't have water spilling out everywhere, quiet neighbourhood, friendly staff, close to bus and tram. Really top notch. Would definitely stay again.

The price value is great for this hotel. The included breakfast has many options and everything is fresh. The hotel is perfect for those who search for a quiet place to sleep being located in a small street with little traffic at night. Connections to city center are very good (more options and at all times of the day and night).

A really nice surprise for the money”
Pros: -nice cozy room, with all the utilities that you might need -plenty of space -silent location -plenty options for breakfast and tasty as well Cons: -kind of worn furniture -there were some hanging dust cobwebs The bottom line is that despite that two mentioned cons, we had a very nice time on the hotel. Those 25 mins to reach to the centre, almost kept us away from public transportation. I fully recommend the hotel.

All well except for noisy heating system. ”
Room and bath are of good size, bed is comfortable, hotel surrounding is quiet and tranquil. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. All is good but it is a pity that the heating system is very noisy. I changed room but the "normal noise" is still very noticeable and not easy to get a good night's rest with it.

Lovely hotel with very accommodating staff in a quiet area of Vienna. There was lots of choice for breakfast. Rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday. Plenty of good eateries nearby. It was a good 30/35 minutes walk at a leisurely pace into the heart of Vienna. There was a bus and tram stop nearby, good if the weather not great.

Comfortable, but aesthetically miserable”
The personnel was absolutely kind and helpful (I had a problem with the reservation and they spent quite a lot of time with and for me speaking with Agoda's customer service). The price of the hotel was cheap and the room comfortable and clean. However, the hotel was aesthetically miserable.

No air conditioning”
The primary purpose of booking a hotel was to get a good place to sleep, and Strudlhof failed to deliver on that. The hotel’s air conditioning was broken (and had been for at least a week) so the hotel had put a single fan in my room. With temperatures over 30 ℃ the room was still very hot during the night. The hotel is located in a very quiet location, which was great.

I got into the train station near midnight. When I got to the hotel they greeted me and had my key ready. The bed was so comfortable and the room was clean and comfortable.

Nice Hotel”
It's about a 20-25 minutes walk to yhe St. Stephen's cathedral in the center. The breakfast is really good. The rooms were a bit warm (in the winter). Better warm than freezing. They let us check-in early since our rooms were ready and we were travelling off-season. The check-in process was a breeze, took about 2 minutes.
