the absolute best hotel in the opera district”

location - service - overall feel

i have stayed at this hotel a number of times. it has gone through several refubishments but remains the best hotel in the opera district. location is perfect, service is good and food (especially breakfast part) is just right. highly recomended !

A great little place to stay”

Good location, comfy bed, nice breakfast

a very professional hotel, well run, with friendly attentive staff. they were able to deal with all my queries about the area, where to go, etc, and always did so with a smile. the breakfast was lovely, all of the parisien treats were there and the croissants were to die for! i'd definitely recommend this hotel to anybody travelling to paris.

Small hotel with great location”

Close to shopping area and metro

a small but reasonable price hotel located close to those shopping malls, i.e. printemps and galeries lafayette. it also situated in the area close to two metro stations and one famous scene "opera". not a romantic place for honeymoon stay but still a worth-staying hotel especially to those travelers with major purpose for doing shopping in paris.

Near the center, more space in the room, nice room.
no adepter for Asia electric plug.

I have first impression when I walked in the room. They have very nice room and may be I reserved from agoda so they upgrade to be the deluxe room. I can't beleive that i can find nice room in this hotel rate. When compare with the other hotel, have more worth in money. This hotel is located in the center of the Paris and easy to go to eat and shopping. So you can't think for the bad thing of this, it can be equal zero.

Disappointed ”

Location only

I spent 2 nights at Astra Opera after spending 4 nights at Adagio Opera. I shall not talk about the location as it was location I wanted as I have always stayed along rue caumartin. I was allocated 708, which is next to the lift and it is extremely noisy! The room has no electic kettle or coffee maker. The airconditioning was also not operating during winter. The hotel is old the corridor is dark. While the check out time was 12noon, we kept getting reminder after 11!

Good location and nice service”

This hotel is quite good for its location and the service received during my 2 days' stay in Paris, except the room is a little small. But it should be ok for one person stay for sleeping only. I would like to stay in this hotel again when I am in Paris in the future.

Very nice room. Large by Paris standards.

this hotel is very close to great shopping facilities with small restaurant/cafes nearby. walk around the block half way and there is a small grocery store. the concierge are very friendly and keen to help, and speak english well. suggest you book a minivan tour including lunch at eiffel tower and river cruise. moulin rouge is also a must. i recomend this hotel, it is very comfortable and friendly.

It is located just a few steps away from all the great shopping centers in Paris and near to several metro and train stations. The room is comfortable and the free drinks and snacks after 3 pm is a great idea!

Beautiful entree to first time traveller to Paris.”

Although the entrance is unassuming, it is an elegant boutique hotel. Loved the different coloured louvres in the courtyard. Very clean and comfortable with a generous and varied breakfast. A very convenient location close to restaurants and hop on hop off bus.

Great location

Stay at Astra”

Great location close to everything (shopping dining city center etc)

We chose this hotel because of its location and fortunately we did not spend much time in our room as it was very small. Given the price we were disappointed with the size of the room but the rest was ok: the room was clean bright and quiet, the staff friendly.

Great location and Clean Rooms”

Nice bathroom, Spacious layout, Walking distance to Place Vendome

Boutique hotel, small, with not many rooms, but comfortable and affordable for its location. Easy access to Metro station, as well as walking distance to most shopping outlets on Rue Cambon, Rue de la Paix, and St Honore, and Place Vendome. However, note that housekeeping only works from 7am to 3pm, so make sure you plan for that.
