Extremely comfortable ”
Stayed three nights in smallish single room but it had everything I needed. Despite the proximity of the railway lines, I slept like a log. Very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast., staff all friendly and helpful. I’d definitely return.

Hotel near Gare du Nord . Good for Stade de France”
This hotel is 10 mins walk from Gare du Nord. Friendly helpful staff . Nice honesty bar and small courtyard behind hotel. Lovely breakfast room and lots of choice for breakfast . Walkable to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. One thing to know, if you book a standard room they're very small . Fine for a two night stay though.

Timhotel Gare Du Nord was a great place to stay. Clean room, friendly staff, close to Indian restaurants, Gare du Nord and other Metro stops, was a perfect place to crash during long Paris nights. Easy access to all the sights, easy to get to after a long train ride, and just easy overall.

Nice Hotel, Great Location, Nice Resturants around”
My stay at the Hotel was nice and worth my time, even wanted to extend one more night but got another flight to catch lolzz. Nice location close to Gare du Nord, if u have found it for the first time, difficult to locate yet close. Identifying the name was another because it's written just HOTEL. They should name it TIM Hotel and make it known at the sign post. Other than this its location is lovely with place to eat around at a walking distance.

Comfortable and clean”
the hotel is in a great location just a 10 minute walk from the gard du nord station and close to several railway and metro stations (within minutes of walking). there are also several supermarkets and many indian and sri lanken cages/restaurants close by, as well as a few patisseries selling great pastries and baguettes. we found all the staff to be very friendly, helpful and polite.they willingly spent time answering questions and showing us locations on maps as well as suggesting alternative ways to go or do things. our room was quite small and could probably have done with a coat of paint, but it was very clean, as were the sheets and towels. the water pressure in the bathroom was good and the water was hot! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back or recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap but comfortable hotel in a good location. real value for money!

Basic Hotel but good position”
i booked this at the last minute as it was the cheapest room i could find that was close to the centre of Paris. Turned out to be a great position as my trains to and from Paris both left from Paris Nord station which is 5 mins walk away. The area around the station is interesting and busy, there's even a "little india" type area over a few streets with lots of indian restaurants. Didn't feel dodgey or dangerous either. Only downsides were the hotel was quite noisy, bumps and water pipes so I would recommend ear plugs if you aren't a heavy sleeper. Its also an old hotel so expect room to be spotless. Staff were very nice in general. The fire alarm was set off one morning from the baking bread in the kitchen, annoying but forgivable. If you are looking for a good budget hotel in a handy area, and you can forgive a bit of noise then this is a good choice.

Interesting location but thankfully we got moved”
we arrived at timhotel gare du nord quite late after an evening flight from heathrow. we walked through the streets with some pretty dodgy characters around in the streets from gare du nord station we were told the bathroom in our room was not working so they paid for a taxi to timhotel opera madeline great location, super central and close to the tube line highly recommended

This hotel is value for money if you intended to stay just to get a good night sleep, after spending all day visiting Paris. Friendly staff, clean hotel. However this hotel is quite far from Gare du Nord, as we took almost half an hour walking distance just to find the hotel

Perfect Location - Good price”
We liked the location, close to Gare du Nord, where you can take train or metro to any part in paris and be there in short time. The staff at the hotel was kind and helpful. The price good for Paris's standards. A bit old the building and maybe a renovation would be nice to see there.

Good choice if stay is not long or NOT for luxury”
Timhotel is the ideal place to stay if it is only for a place to sleep at night. The proximity to the station is also a plus, it makes it easier to get to the hotel and get moving in the morning. The rooms are practical and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, a good value for money for travelers who just want a not too luxurious place to stay after roaming around Paris the entire day.

A surprising quality hotel.”
staff: very nice. room: such a surprise, there was enough space for put down two pieces of suitcase on the floor. and room was clean. location: yes, the hotel is located just direct to the rail tracks of gare de l'est. actually, i have requested for a room to the courtyard side, but instead of that i was given a room with a view to sacré-cœur and the rail tracks. but there was no problem. the night was so quiet that even for me there was no problem with getting sleep. while located behind the train station, it was really quiet part of the station area, whereas local transportation was perfect either into the city, or to cdg/ap. service: after check-out, luggage storage was available. i was really surprise about the quality of this hotel.

Nice small budget hotel at a key location”
Hotel is perfect for a business trip when you do not need to spend a lot of time in the room. Staff is very helpful and speak good English. All basic amenities are available, although the wireless internet was not dependable and was slow. Overall, good value for money. Strong point is low budget variety of restaurants in the surrounding areas and Paris's two central railway station (Gare du Nord and Gare du Est) at a walking distance.

I have booked this hotel at the last minute. After booking I read the reviews, I felt unconfortable. Upon my arrival, I am being extremelly surprised : very welcoming and friedly staff, clean bathroom and bedsheet, safe environment and quiet room. Some investment are to be made to bring this hotel to the top level : double glazing, change of carpet etc. But their employees are friendly and kind.

Clean, Accessible with good location”
Staff were reasonably friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but who goes to Paris to stay in the hotel room? There are lots of great restaurants and little markets in the area and the location is situated 5 minutes by taxi from the Gare du Nord and a 5 minute walk from the Chateau Landon Metro station.

Convenient Location”
We found the room very small, especially the tiny shower. The lift wasn`t working so we had to lug our bags downstairs. The drink machine stopped working too! Mostly the staff were very helpful and friendly. Noise didn`t bother us too much. We chose this hotel for proximity to Gare Du Nord, and metro stations.

Great Service, Average Hotel”
We needed somewhere to stay close to the Gare Du Nord station since we travelled in on the Eurostar arriving at night and needed to travel by train to the airport in the morning. The room was very small, but the bathroom was recently renovated. The guy on reception was brilliant and talked us through the best options to travel to Orly Airport.
