"Will highly recommend this hotel."

Opened in 2004, this hotel is set in a historic building in a quiet part of Prague and offers comfortable accommodation and excellent transport links to downtown. The Hotel Augustus Et Otto in Prague, a newly renovated building dating from 1885, has large, elegantly furnished rooms and well-maintained bathrooms, satellite TV, and internet access. The hotel serves a great buffet breakfast, and the new Andel/Novy Smichov shopping mall nearby has many lively shops and restaurants. The nearest underground station is only a five-minute walk from the hotel, and from there, it only takes another five minutes to reach the Old Town.

Everything was good, especially breakfast. Thanks to all staffs.
hotel location & breakfast is not recomended”
hotel location & breakfast is not recomended
It was costly in comparison to facility.”
Money value shown in the title does not match with money cut from the payment card. This is bad
lighting on the hotel & breakfast”
The breakfast is almost repeated everyday the same. the hotel room light really not bright enough and the room seems dark. there is no refrigerator on the most of the room except the 3rd floor room. the price is a bit expensive for no much facility. thank you
Good traditional hotel”
Good solid old building with large rooms, comfortable bed, good en-suite bathroom. Mini bar, TV. Fairly quite part of town, quite near the big river Vitava and one of the bridges. About 10 mins walk from metro, and 5 mins from the gaudy Botel Admiral hotel/restaurant
Everything was OK, but not 4* hotel for me, look like 3* hotel Expensive parking 18€ per night
Good location, but not woth 4 stars at all”
Bad smell in the room / bathroom, poor and not healthy breakfast, staff wearing casual unprofessional clothes, which is very weird, if they call themself a 4 star hotel. Overall it has a good location, 5 min to metro and 25 min walk to the city, good price, but not sure if will stay there again.
Nice personnel. Clean room. towels cosmetics included :-) recommend!
some hotels just overbook the rooms and then when you arrive, they send you to another one.”
so they send me to another hotel, without eben telling the receptionist. she was a bit surprised. then at night in thus room, water from an upper room dropped down and i couldnt use the bathroom anymore. i complained about it and they send me back to hotel augustus et otto. there i could only check-in in the afternoon, although i already checked in yesterday and booked for two nights. the receptionist claimed they had the same problem with that room, i didnt believe her one word. they just overbooked the place and because i was a single woman travelling they did this to me.
Excellent breakfast selection. ”
Staff very helpful and gave their best. Will highly recommend this hotel.
In decades of traveling, I have never been treated so badly at any hotel. After “checking in” at the front desk, I was told my room had a problem but they had relocated me to a nearby hotel. The nearby hotel was a flea-pit 30 minutes away by taxi! They told me I was selected to be moved because I had only booked one night and other customers had booked multiple nights. The truth was that was the only reason they were moving me. It was purely a financial decision to overbook the hotel and select a one night booking to kick out to a cheap property. Probably not the first time they have done this. I explained that I had selected this hotel for its location; walking distance to a theater where my daughter was performing, but they told me “that’s life, get over it”. Rude, unprofessional, deceitful!
Location was close to Andel Station and easy to move . Hotel room was small but clean and satisfactory. Staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious as well. I will visit again if I have go back to Prague.
Worth your money”
It's a budget hotel but the location is good, near andel station, locates near the riverside and the student agency bus terminal, there is a supermarket. Service was good, what else ..
Great stay, all positive.we did not use the dining facilities.there wasno AC in our rm,but we had a nice breeze with windows opened.a fan in the rm would have been good.lv windows opened gave lots of late night st noise
Great location, convenient and good value for mone”
i spent one night during my conference trip to prague. hotel is located near subway "metro andel" (about 10 minutes walk). hotel is in old neighbourhood (app. 200 years old houses). reception was friendly and helpfull. the provide free wireless or cable internet with good connection speed. breakfast was very good with sausages, ham, cheese, cofee (automat - not bottles :-)), tea, milk, 3 types of juice, and many else.
