Good experience! The staff were great!”
Naypyitaw is a strange place. The hotel was nearly completely empty as were the majority of the hotels in the city. That was a little unnerving at first. However the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped us rent a motorcycle to get around. (there is zero public transportation in Naypyitaw so a motorcycle is incredibly useful) They also helped us book the next leg of our trip to Inle Lake. The breakfast was good. There is a nice well maintained pool too. No complaints!

Fantastic”
Empty hotel cuz of Nay Pyi Taw not the problem of hotel. Great staff, great breakfask. great pool just for me and my friend. even u order from hotel, its a little bit pricy but with good quanlity. we rent the semi motorbike for 10000 for 12 hours from the hotel. and didnt find any other motorbike rental shop. If u wanna book bus ticket from there. Be aware that the bus usually gonna stop on every small town and city. if u dont enjoy.the slow bus, better check with the staff if there is a direct and express bus. the funny thing is even though the bus is called express bus, but its still stop everywhere on the road. second, if u book the taxi service to the bus station, better make sure the staff totally understand this request.

Very pleasant and welcoming staff”
The hotel is clean, the staff is amazingly welcoming. They allow early check-in and late check-out. Many thanks for the staff!!!!! And breakfast is very good: asian and european food. There is no public transportation in Nay Pyi Taw. The hotel is located far from the places of interest, so I rent a motorbike. Comparing to Bagan, it is costly. I would better rent a bicycle, but it was not available.

Very nice hotel far from the city”
Hotel Aye Chan Thar was a lovely hotel with very attentive staff and few guests. Though the pool was unavailable one day of our stay, the gym was available. The staff spoke a range of English, but tried very hard to fulfill any request. They were easily able to call for a taxi, apologized about the pool, and made sure our room was cleaned daily. The room was nice, with the exception of the very short shower. There was a balcony, but no chairs for landing. An electric kettle was present, but no tea or coffee were provided. However, breakfast was available from 6:30-9 AM, and was very good. The location of the hotel is quite far from the center of the city, but only about a 20-minute drive due to the complete lack of traffic. It is about 30 minutes from the Safari Park, Zoological Gardens, National Landmark Gardens, and military museum. It's a definite value for the money.

Nice hotel, loved the pool”
Huge room, with good hot water and even a bathtub. Good wifi. Had a nice swim in the lovely pool. Staff were very helpful! Nothing around it as Nay Pyi Daw has hotel zones, but hotel helped us arrange a taxi to show us around the sights.

Bargain luxury”
What an absolute bargain of a hotel. We were backpacking throughout Myanmar for 2 and a half weeks and this was one of the cheapest places we stayed but by far and away the most luxurious. It is miles from anywhere of interest though but then the city is a bit bizarre like that anyway. Highly recommend this place if you want a couple of days to unwind, particularly if you are regularly travelling by bus or train. The pool is excellent too, much nicer than it looks in the photos. Staff are so so nice too.

Pleasant surprise at affordable rate”
Just one night on the way through Naypyidaw, through the "city of hotels". So many places, but this one is away from the highway in the hills, and for the rate, we were very pleasantly surprised to get a triple room and a very nice pool. Very good value for money. My only complaint is that most of the hotel was empty, and they put all the visitor in rooms right next to each other. The men in the room next door were loud till late, and we have children. I thought they could have spread out the visitors more.

Lovely hotel”
I had a great time at this hotel. The staff are incredibly lovely. Some appear to not speak any English but they at least smile and try to understand you. The hotel is fairly new, pretty clean. Restaurant food is great. Like everywhere else in the country internet cuts out occasionally, as does water. My only gripes are that the pool water was a bit of a green colour, which made me think it wasn't safe for swimming in. And I came back one afternoon and went to retrieve a soda bottle I'd left outside only to find it had been chucked into the garden. As I'm sure it didn't do that itself I can only assume that one of the cleaners thought that was a good place to throw it. They're just small gripes. This place is excellent and great value for money. I highly recommend it.

Far from everything”
Rooms are pleasant and clean. Absolutely nothing of interest in the area, and not allowed to rent a motorbike so you need a taxi or a motorcycle taxi but everything is far away, and whatever you save on low room rates will be spent for transport. Main reason for me to stay there was the lovely pool but it was green with algae and completely unusable. Receptionists very helpful but knew nothing and needed to call for every bit of information like train departure times which other hotels have readily available. Lady manager was very pushy to get a good review and wanted to make me write one while I was still there. Was almost the only guest in the huge hotel. Cheaper rooms are not in main building but in an annexe.

Really nice hotel with swimming pool”
Pool, big rooms, awesome breakfast, staff 24/7 answering at the reception and very warm ... and all this for a cheap price (for the country). BUT the staff doesn't speak English. Unfortunately, we had to come to the reception to make things easier because phone wouldn't work to order "tea".. That's the only thing but quite annoying. This is not a reason not to come back because the place is great but definitely a point to improve for them to consider. The swimming pool is really awesome, rooms have all the toiletry necessary and balconies, and the breakfast is really nice! Would really recommend this place!

Very friendly, helpful staff. Thanks very much”
We stayed here during a 3 day visit to Naypyidaw, and booked the cheapest room. The room was very big, very comfortable and had everything we needed, including the best WiFi we encountered in Myanmar. Staff arranged a taxi drive around the city for us and recommended an itinerary which really made our stay. The pool was great, very clean. The restaurant was OK, not that cheap and western dishes were not as expected, but cheaper than getting a taxi to a restaurant. English spoken by staff was a little limited, but they tried very hard to understand and make themselves understood. Could be improved by offering a map to tourists and printed information about local attractions, as nothing is online yet. Overall highly recommended!

Nice hotel, terrible city ”
The city is nothing to see. It's waste. The hotel is restricted by the city- farYou away, unless you have motorcycle- will eat at hotel. Food not too bad. 7.5 kat from bus station to hotel. 2kat from hotel to train station Wifi was done for most of the time: manager at apt called. Nice swimming pool and fitness room. Hotel ordered a guy to drive me around for 3kat or lend me a motorcycle for 2kat an hour. Free breakfaSt - staff is good. I believe some of the staff lives on hotel grounds.

Not bad, but not good”
Our stay in this hotel was... Odd. We seemed to be the only guests staying there, but our room was in the smaller building in the back, on the ground floor. There was a big stain on the wall next to our door, and the washroom wasn't very clean. The pool had water, but it was dirty. There was a nice gym, though, which was the best part. The hotel just felt deserted; it's far from city 'centre' (it costs 8000 MMK for a taxi to go there) like all the other northern hotels. At night, it felt creepy being alone in that separate building, in the middle of a long street of deserted mammoth hotels. That's Naypyidaw for you, I guess. The staff tried to be as helpful as possible, and we're very grateful they arranged our onwards taxi and bus. But there were about three staff per guest, and they didn't give us enough space while we were eating or lounging. Also, only a couple of them understood English well, so we were passed from staff until we were understood. Not bad, but not good.

Beautiful place to stay in a dreadful town.”
Very clean and not smelly rooms and caring staff. Location is bad due to the bad location of Hotel Zone 2. Especially the manager spoke very well English and organized a taxi sightseeing trip for us. Definitely worth the money!

Better than others in the city”
NPT is a difficult place to find sufficient hotel, when looking for hotels, it is difficult to gauge the quality as there aren't many reviews available but this one has the most reviews and from reading other hotel's reviews, one guy said to go north and named this hotel as one better than others, I followed and he was not wrong. This is by far the best hotel (yet) in this town for its price range. Though there are signs of insufficient maintenance but it is OK for now in 2017.
