This property is located steps away from the beach, in the heart of the Golden Zone, the exclusive tourist area of Mazatlan. Shopping, golf, fine-dining and entertainment are minutes away. The Azteca features a helpful front desk offering car rentals, as well as information on various tours and sport fishing opportunities. After a day of sightseeing and fun, relax in the outdoor pool. La Gran Plaza Mall, the Aquarium, Mazagua aquatic park and historic downtown are all within 15 minutes of the Azteca Inn.

Did not want to leave. Great location near beach and restaurants (Panchos--3 nights). Room perfect. Pool rules enforced so quiet at 9 pm. Clean, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Super food in restaurant (closes at 1:30 pm). Loved every minute there.

Courtesy WiFi was extremely slow, but very good cable tv service. Staff responded quickly to my request. Our room, blanket and sheets were very clean. The mattress, however needs to be changed. There was a dent in the center. Hair dryer was very convenient. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have an elevator, nor enough parking space for each guest. But walking distance to the beach, stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and all our needs was excellent. No coffee maker nor microwave available. But at least a small little refrigerator would be very convenient, as the hotel does not have an ice maker machine. Hand sanatizer was handy and available at all times. However, bringing your own lotion and other personal need supplies is recommended. But overall, we had a nice and positive experience.

This was actually our second stay in the Azteca in our current tour of Mexico; so the fact we went back is a strong recommendation. The hotel is very busy and successful, which is not the general case in Mazatlan. And it has a number of long-term North American residents and vacationers.
