Service need to improve ”
I stayed in Hôtel Bac Saint German for 2nights. The room is clean and ok big enough. But I had problèm of my skin and all was red because of the sensitive and I felt really sad and not comfortable at all...... I went to the reception twist and asked for help and asked them to give me a connection of a doctor in Paris but they said that this was not possible in Paris if I had not made any appointments with them and so they only asked me to go to pharmacy and bought some tablets and cream. Finally, I talked with my French friends and they all said that this was not the true! They said that I may go to hospital or easily to find a doctor in the yellow pages in France! So I am so disappointed of what they told me when I was so sick! No matter the room and the location is ok, as a staff of a hotel, you need to be kind to your client when they felt very sick. Attached here with a photos of my skin and not only the arm had problem..... Actually, all my back, body, hip and legs was like that! All in " RED" 👎😡😭😱

Great location/Friendly Staff”
Awesome location! Directly across from the Rue du Bac metro and bus stop for #69 and within walking distance to the Louvre. Room was a good size with comfortable bed and large bathtub. Staff was very kind and helpful; cleaning crew was thorough and reception sent tea up when they found out we had gotten sick. Elevator is small but worked well.

Excellent location, friendly staff!”
definitely would stay here again. small, cozy, quaint, but decent sized rooms. loved the staff. the great room off the lobby is a wonderful amenity, like a big comfortable living room. also, great outdoor decks (roof on 7th floor, and lobby level) which we would have used, had it not been winter. the room's decor could be updated and softer pillows, but not a priority with us, whereas the hotel's location and room size were more appreciated. the only negative: the whole time we were there (6 days), the elevator was not working. after the first night we moved from a higher floor to the 2nd floor to accommodate my husband's asthma issues, as the steps were too much for him.

This hotel provided just what we needed.”
We chose this hotel as we only needed one night's accommodation for a quick sightseeing trip to Paris. The room was basic, but the bed was very comfortable with great pillows. The bathroom was ordinary, with signs of wear & tear, but the shower was hot & satisfactory. The location was fantastic being just 2 or 3 blocks from the river - walk just across the Seine to the Louvre, around the corner to the Musee de Orsay & it was walking distance to many other attractions including the Eiffel Tower. There are also lots of great cafes & restaurants close by, not to mention high end shops. We were very happy with the location. We didn't eat breakfast there so can't comment on that. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Overall, for a short stay (1-3 nights), where you are out sightseeing all day, it offers a comfortable stay in a very handy location.

Left Bank Hotel in Parisian hide away street.”
I had a very good stay at the hotel. I love this part of Paris, aways from the crowds in a friendly street but easy to reach all the attractions. There is a feeling of Parisians living in this area, not full of tourists!

The best low price hotel I've stayed in in Paris”
Don't expect to take the elevator with more than two people and a bag. It's soooo small you could get molested if you were alone. The lobby is on the second floor and the staff is helpful, friendly and willing to make calls for you to sort things out. They helped give back the Europecar in Paris rather than at the airport. We used the "blue airport jitney" at 18E each and got there in an hour. Train would have taken longer. Taxi would have cost 2.5 times as much. In all, it's a go to small hotel with small but absolutely clean rooms and great rooftop breakfast at 12E more. Croissant, baguette, yogurt, fresh orange juice and great coffee.

Comfortable little hotel in great location”
Comfortable but small room - about what we expected in that location for that price. Great location for tourists. Near a very good metro station as well as shops and eateries. We walked comfortably to nearly all the famous tourist locations. Always felt safe in the hotel and in the area.

Great location for sightseeing”
The hotel is small, but perfectly located for walking to many of the major attractions around Paris. There are plenty of good ( if a tad expensive) local restaurants and for nightlife within walking distance there is St Germain. The rooms are basic, but clean and the breakfast terrace is lovely. Staff are helpful .

Nice Location, Good Service ”
The hotel is located very close to the Metro station. It was my first visit to Paris so I was a kind of stranger. But thanks to the nice location, I never got lost. It is near the Musee 'd Orsay so you can walk there. The staffs are kind and friendly. The room is not so spacious but my room has bath tub so I could feel relaxed enough.

Conveniently located hotel”
It was very hot for a few days while we were in Paris and there was no a/c in our room. Luckily the weather cooled and our room cooled off. To be fair, the Metro was also very, very hot.

Pleasant and helpful staff, great central location”
i booked last minute and was greeted cordially. staff were most helpful and the room was adequate, with a bath (which was a great plus!), clean and tidy. the room was cleaned every day and linen changed very regularly. breakfast was on the terrace and it was a nice aspect. the food was well presented and the fresh juice and pots of tea/coffee ample! the hotel was perfectly located for walking and one minute (literally) from the metro; excellent for sightseeing!

Paris in the the winter ”
The lift is very small, if you’re claustrophobic, beaware of this. The stairs are narrow and winding. Staying on the top floors could proof for a dizzying trio up and down. My room (53) had a very small bathroom. The toilet is up against the sink and the counter jabs you in your ribs while you’re relieving yourself of ribs and what not. The shower is even smaller and the tub so narrow, sit down to take a shower for fear of slipping. The floors are stone cold but the heat in the room can be stifling. If you open the windows mosquitos may join you rent free. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is great for D’Orsay and 20-30 minute walks to Eiffel Tower or Norte dame. There’s a metro stop very close and a bus stop right outside the door. Check out L’Antiquries for dinner. Make a reservation or try your luck to walk in.

Great location, clean and good service”
We stayed here during February so it was off-peak, which probably explains the great deal we got, but the price was great for the location. The hotel is very clean, well kept and the location is brilliant. 10 minutes walk to Louvre, 20 minutes walk to Notre Dame and 15 minutes walk to Latin Quarter. The receptionists were friendly enough, which is a bit of a surprise given French reputation, but I really had nothing to complain. The only thing that bothered us was that the air conditioning is centrally controlled, which was a little irritiating when it got too cold, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Would stay again if I got the same deal.

Very pleasant stay”
Perfectly nice room in a lovely part of Paris. I thought the room was really rather spacious for an expensive city like Paris. Right next to the metro, friendly staff. Perfect for our city break. Would go back.

Good Hotel, Great Location”
I had a very good short stay in Paris - spending very little time at the hotel as I was out for most of the day. The hotel was perfect due to it's central location. While the room decor was a bit dated, it was clean and comfortable, free Wifi was also provided which proved useful. Staff were helpful and accommodating.

Clean and good location ”
Location is very good as very near metro and room is clean. However, the lift is very small and only for a person with luggage. Price is expensive but this is Paris, so still sound reasonable with the location

Excellent location”
Excellent stay. I was there for an art fair at the Grand Palais so the hotel turned out to be an excellent location for me. Transportation was very easily accessible. Staff was very good, helpful and courteous. If I come again next year for the fair, I will probably stay at the same hotel.

Very nice! Excellent!”
Excellent, the hotel is located in a very nice area, really close to Metro Station and RER Station is about 5 minutes walk. Friendly staff, very helpful. The small place where breakfast is served is perfect, with a very nice view of the city. The room is very small but if you need the hotel just to sleep I fully recommend.
