Located within a 15-minute walk from the city centre, Hotel Barbakán has air-conditioned rooms with cable TV, a desk and free wired internet. Free public parking is possible by the hotel. Carpeted floors and a private bathroom are featured in all units, which are decorated in yellow tones. Breakfast is served in the hotel's dining room on site. The hotel's restaurant is within 400 metres and serves Hungarian and international dishes for lunch and dinner. Hotel Barbakán is 450 metres from the Early Christian Mausoleum and 650 metres from a pedestrian zone including restaurants, bars, shops and the Jakováli Hasszán Mosque. Zsolnay Mausoleum is within 500 metres. Pécs Main Train Station offering connections to Budapest is 1.6 km from the Barbakán.

Good hotel in convenient location”
The hotel is conveniently located next to a big street. It's about 10-15 minutes walk to the town center. Staff was friendly and I received an upgrade to a very nice room which was very spacious, quiet and apparently recently renovated. Unfortunately, the cleanliness could be improved, there were some stains on surfaces and hair on the floor. Otherwise fine. Parking is available in front.
