The breakfast was good, and the room is a good size with an amazing view.
The host was not too friendly, especially on the first day. There was no shower in my room, but bathroom was still nice.

The room was very pleasant, clean, and tastefully designed, with a cozy feeling. The balcony provided a direct view over the hotel&#39;s swimming pool and terrace&#47;restaurant, as well as the lake Maggiore. The bathroom was as well very large, fitted with everything one would need. The breakfast was plentiful, with a good variety of local cheese and ham, milk, jams, etc. It lacked a bit in terms of warm food options, but it&#39;s a minor detail.
Because the room has no radiator (other than in the bathroom), this means that the A&#47;C must be switched on permanently to keep the room warm over the night, which can be a bit annoying from the noise perspective. Perhaps more silent fans to the A&#47;C unit could be installed.

Charming hotel in a beautiful location”

We had the room with hot tub, which was just under the roof. That made it very cosy, and also quiet. Thanks to the air con it was also nice and cool. The restaurant &#47; breakfast area had a lovely view, there were plenty of other places to sit and enjoy the view and the pool area was nice and clean. The staff were exceptional, helping us arrange things (e.g. boat rental only 5 minutes walk from the hotel). The location is lovely, right on the lake, with a couple of bars &#47; restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away.
The one extra thing that would have been nice was a private balcony, some of the other rooms come with balconies. But since there are many communal areas to sit this was not a big deal.

Overall, good hotel, close to the lake (2-3 min walking). Great breakfast (at least for Italian hotels), with berries, good choice of cheese and yogurts. No problem with parking.
Wifi is working, but it&#39;s a bit slowly. It was a bit dark in the room (there was only one window). There are no cafes, shops, supermarkets around. The only point to go is a bar at the lake. Actually, there is nothing to do in Ranco. Certainly, you need a car if you want to go out.

The hotel was perfect and extremely clean. The room was big with nice bathroom. The view from our balcony was great even if we took a room with only partial lake view. The breakfast was nice with a large choice of cakes. I also appreciate the fact that this is a pet friendly hotel.

Nice and cozy hotel with great Maggiore lake view”

This hotel was very nice, clean and cozy. It was better then on the photos. The Maggiore lake view from our room and from the restaurant terrace was amazing.
On Saturday, there was a party at the restaurant with high music until one at night and guests were loud at least until two at night. Also, wine&#47;bear glasses are allowed around the pool area.
