Hotel was good
Hotel was good, staff very helpful & friendly, but the ongoing underground subway works right outside the hotel entrance was a real nuisance. Construction works 7 days a week from 9am to 8pm, due to finish mid 2017. Temporary site works hoardings, walkways and restricted foot paths right of ways was annoying. Hotel breakfast was okay, but very basic, same choice every day..Overall okay if you are flexible and accept the long term temporary site works

Bad service; first & last
One of the staff which her shift is in the morning around 8.45am on 14 september 2016, was very rude. We have a problem of either using cab or van, she did tell us about possibility of using van because of our bag but the way she told and react is very rude. Even we have to bring our bag by ourself to taxi eventhough at that time there is a bell boy. Not even that, there is one time i ask her to call taxi because we want to go to singapore flyer but she forgot, if the malay bell boy didnt ask about taxi we might waiting at lobby forever. My suggestion toward this is to train the 'specific staff' about manner and providing good service. For me, because of her, it might be the first and the last. Most of the traveller who stay there complain about the noise of the construction but it can be tolerate and the location even very excellent but due to the manner of specific staff it might be first ad last to stay at the hotel. I hope the manager of the hotel can improve the manner of the staff, may be by training so that hotel can be one of the best budget hotel in singapore. Thank you
