Lovely hotel room and strategic location”
Berne Opera Hotel has a very comfortable hotel room and kind staff (the staff are very helpful in giving the information i need). The location is very strategic because it will only take three minutes to get to the metro by foot, also around the neighbourhood there are a lot of good restaurants so it is really easy to find food to eat.
You won’t regret”
The hotel was beautiful and well maintained About 30 mins walking to Champ Elysees Easily access to any Metro The room n the view is beautiful The staff especially Louisa is very helpful and friendly It is very much recommended!
Two sisters travelling”
Great value for the money. Louisa at front desk was excellent - incredibly helpful, proactive, and professional - thank you! The location is excellent, the 'Batignolles area' - safe, not crowded with tourists, and there are so many great local restaurants/cafes within a 10-15 minute walk (Rue de Legendre, Rue des Dames, around metro Villiers). Hotel buffet breakfast was so-so - I would recommend opting out of the daily breakfasts and instead, trying the many local brasseries/creperies/etc. nearby. The rooms were not large, but clean, comfortable and have everything you need. Beds (and pillows!) were super comfortable. If you're lucky, you'll get a room with view on Rue de Berne - a lovely view :) All in all, I would stay here again!
Highly Recommend Staying Here”
This place was perfect for our needs. We have been traveling across Europe for 2 out of four weeks and this was my favorite hotel so far. It can be challenging in non English speaking countries and Katrima went out of her way to provide us with careful directions and look for information we were seeking regarding Paris without even asking. She was wonderful and a credit to this hotel. Rooms were very clean, wifi in room, but only for web serving fbook, utube etc. No skype functionality unfortunately but this is the only thing I could fault this hotel on. Location is perfect, right across the road from the metro and the Moulin Rouge is about 5 mins walk away, as is the hop on hop off bus stop. First timers in Paris and staying in this hotel made it incredibly easy and convenient. Breakfast was lovely also, we have definitely become accustomed to French cuisine now.
The perfect hotel with the friendliest staff”
The hotel is located within walking distance to the metro. I love love love Karima as she was very patient in telling me where to go when I needed to go to Eiffel, Champs Elysee etc. It was my first time in France and didn't know how to ride a metro in my entire life. She even taught me how. Now, this is customer service!!!!!!
Convenient location ”
berne opera is located in a very centralized location where you can access to many places easily on feet or via metro (station rome, line 2). there is a supermarket in 5 mins where you can buy drinks and snacks anytime you want. the hotel is newly decorated except the bathroom that it's a bit old and it's not a user-friendly shower. staffs there are nice too.
Lovely hotel in great location”
We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It just 15 minutes walk from the Opera. I bring my sons, 13 and 7 years old, while I booked 1 triple room, and the receptionist allow us to stay in one room without any additional charges. The room was big enough for 4 persons. They provide us with 1 king size + 1 single bed. The staff were also very helpful in helping us to book a van to go to the airport. Unfortunately, the wifi is not free... :)
very nice hotel”
We enjoined our stay there. Very frendly staff ready to help you. The size of the room was very good also for an hotel in Paris. The room was also clean as the hotel itself The location also is good for someone who wants to dicover Paris. İ am a Parisean myself living abroad !!!
Very nice place with helpfull staff.”
The hotell is very nice and feels fresh. The staff is helpfull and serviceminded. The location of the hotell is in a very calm area and still allowes you to get around Paris easily with the nearest metro station just around the corner. Well worth the money spent. The only thing I can complain about is that the breakfast is too expencive, but you can buy your breakfast at the supermarket around the corner or on a bakery down the street instead.
Closed to Rome subway station nice hotel wide room”
The hotel is great location around, nearby the subway ROME easy to walk to. The super market infront on the street is great I feel safe here. The save price when compare to other hotel in paris. And the area is nice and no dangerous environment
Worth the money”
We are fortunate to come across this hotel that is within waling distance (10-15 mins) to the well known Gallaries Lafayette. It is also located across the road of the Rome Metro (line 2) that is easily connected to the other part of Paris transportation system. The room is spacious, clean & come well-equipped of amenities (hair dryer, mini-bar, tv etc) Staff is very friendly, helpful & spoke english which is good for us as we do not knoe French. A truly recommended hotel for stay in the heart of Paris.
Good Location and Value”
Friendly Staff and good arrival experience..room was ready and in good condition. We liked the location near to Metro Rome. Many good Cafes and Restaurant near by the hotel with good prices. A bit noisy at night if you take the rooms facing the train rails but rooms facing the entry road more silence. Overall staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast lady in the morning very friendly and breakfast replenished promptly. We can recommend the hotel for people how are looking for a good value for money experience. Will return on our next trip to Paris. Hope this helps!
Excellent hotel in Paris”
If I come to Paris again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself is only 100 m away from Rome metro station, in a quiet surrounding. High speed internet is available for free. Only problem with this hotel is there is only 1 small lift that can fit 5 people. When checking out, unfortunately there were a few other rooms who are also checking out at the same time. So it took quite a while until we get our turn to use the lift to get our luggage down. Other than that, 2 thumbs up. Lovely stay.
Bere opera Hotel”
For those who likes to travel economic way, this is a hotel to stay. although the rooms are little old. The location of hotel is the best. it takes only 2 minutes to walk to Metro. you could go any where in Paris in 20-30 minutes by metro. people in the hotel are very nice. always provide good service. however, do not use the airport transportation company that hotel recommend. The van diver is the only one bad thing that I can find in Paris. otherwise I love the city.
Great location”
The room was very very small but I guess that is normal in an expensive city like Paris. It will be tight for two people Location was really superb - near the Moulin Rouge and Pigalle. The staff was extremely nice, spoke good English and very accommodating.
Nice getaway hotel with connection to the city den”
The idea was of a short getaway to Paris. The rooms are not too big but very clean, the staff is very nice and the breakfast offers 2 choices (8 or 16 Euro) which might have been a tad on the high side for the offering. The great thing is that the subway was just next by offering the possibility to get to the centre quickly. All in all a fair 3-star hotel.
Great get-away hotel in Paris”

Pleasant ”
There were three of us in our group and we got the room with the balcony as we requested. That was great, we were able to enjoy breakfast Al fresco while admiring the architecture in the neighborhood. Location was safe and near the metro and bus stations. The hotel is near Montmartre area. The staff were helpful although some were a bit stern and gruff. The room was small but we understand that is normal for Paris. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
It was a pleasant stay with Berne Opera Hotel ”
The hotel is a short walk from the train station hence going to different parts of Paris is a breeze. The service staff is friendly and helpful. They had given us recommendations to restuarants and the directions to our destinations. The icing on the cake was the cozy and comfortable sleeping condition. The room was brightly lit which gave it a cheerful touch. In addition, facilities such as hair dryer, heating rack are available.
Pleasant & Convenient”
We stayed here for three nights. The place is slightly north of the city centre. A bit confusing to reach if you are new and trying to get there by metro subway. The room is small, has twin mattresses rather than queen size mattress. The bathroom is clean and adequate though. No coffee or tea making facility. However, there is a convenient store just round the corner and hot drinks can be easily obtained at nearby bistros. The receptionists speak English and are quite helpful and friendly. Simple buffet breakfast costing 7 euros for hotel quests is reasonable when compared with prices elsewhere. It is easier to walk to Opera or La Fayette (about 17 minutes leisure walk)than taking the subway as you would have to switch train.
