Excellent location; very helpful and responsive staff; great choice for this part of Marseille”

This hotel was unobtrusively located in the heart of Marseille, just a few blocks from the Port. The rooms were small but efficient; the breakfast was complete and more than adequate; the staff were great, including speaking English well enough to give us very good help and advice for getting around the city. I can easily recommend the hotel with one qualification: rooms on the alley side are noisy, as the alley seems to be a gathering place for men in the neighborhood. Once we asked for, and were easily given, a move to a room overlooking the street, we had no further problems with noise. Be prepared for a stimulating slice of life: it's a busy, vibrant, and diverse neighborhood, but great for getting an authentic experience of Marseille. 24/7 access to the guest coffee machine was a very nice bonus.

Perfectly loacted, in thr heart of marseille and near every sightseeing from old port to cathedral notre dame de la garde,,friendly staff, very clean, big rooms, the breakfast is good and enough, so practically highly recommended

convenient location in Vieux Port metro. recently renovated with new facilities. comfortable and big room. however our room was overlook in a few metres the windows of the neighbourhood and it was a bit noisy during night time. A muslim restaurant was downstair on the ground floor and it was a bit noisy during night time when the people eating there chit-chat.

Best budget hotel I’ve ever been to”

This was so close to Old port (5 mins) and train station. The rooms were simple but had everything you would need. Breakfast option is good, and they offer tea and coffee complimentary in the afternoon

Central hotel , nice rooms, reasonable breakfast”

Central hotel conveniently situated not far from the vieux port, and next to the tram lines. The hotel rooms are newly refurbished and the wifi works. breakfast is reasonable.

The staffs in this hotel are so lovely and kind they did their best to help me and made me feel comfortable while I was staying in the hotel I highly recommend this hotel to everyone Thanks for everything :)

Standard room in rubbish city”

Photos are the most deceiving I've come across. However, room was clean and air-conditioned and staff were friendly. Marseille has become very run down and filthy and is not worth visiting...it was an eye-opener. Google it...will fill you in on the city's deterioration and why.

Comfortable”

In an interesting location with some colourful characters on the street. The building itself is extremely secure, requiring guests to use their keycard to get in at all times of the day. It's an easy walk anywhere in the city, especially close to the shopping street. Bit of a walk back up the hill to the train station if you have heavy luggage like we did. The small dining area with free tea and coffee was great to have somewhere to sit and chat considering the room is quite small, like most rooms in Europe.

Solid choice of hotel”

Lively part of town, close to the harbour, plenty of eateries and supermarkets. Plenty of people on the streets. Hotel is professional in all areas, check in and out, presentation of room and hospitality and help for a traveller.

Rooms small and expensive for size and facilities but clean and adequate, location great, staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend

Basic amenities, but just enough”

This was just a pit stop for us but had everything we needed for the night. It's more a services apartment than a hotel so only 1 towel each no room service etc. food in area around it was good though so location was good. We drove, may be harder with public transport.

I booked a doble bed in a superior room and ended up being given an individual. The receptionist were all new and inexperienced so they basically referred to their boss -who doesn’t work during the weekend - for you to fix any issue. Stay away from this hotel and book somewhere else in the area if you want to enjoy your stay in Marseille. PS Agoda won’t do anything to protect your money. I contacted them explaining my situation and the most they can do is to forward your complaint to the hotel.

Hotel with basic amenities but location was superb, smack in the middle of the city within 2mins walking distance to Galleries Lafayette. Room was kinda tight but manageable. Staff were nice in particular the lady with glasses. She assisted us with our left baggages and personally saw to it that our baggages were stored away safely.

Plus punten & minus punten”

The hotel is walking distance to the old port of Marseille where there are lots of restaurants. Almost walking distance to every attractions. The personnel are really friendly. The room was ok but it was too warm & u can’t regulate the heater it was annoying. The bathroom has a smell from the sewage. The cleaning woman always forget to give us things we need in the room like cups (no glasses), towels & tissues. Breakfast is just ok not much variation. We stayed 4 nights which was too long.
