Although the hotel staff was friendly, I wouldn’t recommend a stay here. The rooms are extremely small and the hotel needs some serious updating. The gate to get out of the parking deck (which is connected to the hotel) would not open, which is a hazard. The sheets on one of the double beds had to be changed again and there was no remote control in the room for the tv. The hotel next door played extremely loud music til 12 am so we were unable to get any sleep. And the music WAS NOT kid friendly. Housekeeping was smoking cigarettes out side of the elevator. Just would not recommend. My family have traveled to myrtle beach twice each month during these hot month and this is by far the worst hotel we’ve chosen.

Dirty linens, poor customer service ”
The bed linens and towels were dingy. They didn’t have any towels the next morning. The first room had crumbs all over the tv stand, the room was dusty and it looked like baby oil was all over the door. The ceiling tile was about to fall out in the tub, I hope there were no hidden cameras planted up there. No remote for tv and door lock kept getting stuck. Some of the staff had an attitude if you called about anything but it wasn’t my fault that they had so many issues. One of the housekeepers was talking to another staff member stating that the first room wasn’t dirty, I shouldn’t have complained but I have pictures to prove it. Wish I could post those. It was a last minute trip but never again.

For $300 expected cleaner common area. The carpet was filthy, filthy, filthy. I felt like I was walking outside in the dirt. The bathroom was so old I couldn't tell weather it clean or not. There was only 1 lamp on the night stand and 1 outlet behind the bed. The 1 lamp had a charger.

I am sorry that we failed to have the common areas as clean as our guests deserve we are in the process of changing out all of our carpet and this year we plan on remodeling all of the bathrooms hopefully you will give us a second chance after we have completed these throughout the year

I would like to apologize the floor being sticky when you arrived sometimes our cleaning material will make the floor feel like it's sticky and unfortunately we have no control of the third party bookings and what they relay as far as the information back to their guests that look with them if you would like to book with us direct please call us directly at the hotel and will be happy to assist

I enjoyed my stay at hotel blue mostly because of the staff. Every single member I came in contact with was nice and helpful. Great customer service and I loved the lady who does security.

My boyfriend and I took a trip to this hotel and we had to be changed from one room to another because the first one had an awful group of nats that clung to the bed. The elevators are horrible. They look something from a horror movie. And the crowd it holds is very ghetto. I probably would never book a stay here again.

The problem i have isi got reduced rate but when they add hospitality tax and etc its not such a bargain for this time of yr none o outside pools are open to cold, and cafes inside are seasonal. I was not told it cost $10.00 a nite to pk until i got there which is not right when its hotels parking garage.

Walkable distance from everything and it's great that we could use the pools at CQ. The outdoor pool is great with the swim up bar. Very nice view of the ocean from the room. The room could use a little makeover and maybe fix the bed frame. I was literally wobbling and hanging on one side of the bed because there was no support at the bottom. Lastly, the lazy river area could also use a little update since the paint on the bottom is wearing out. Overall, decent and affordable. Great for a short stay at MB.
