No Elevator 😔”
Our room is located at 7th floor, so tiring to get up and down, they should have come up even with a little service elevator to help out guests, esp the room is for family, what if we have an elderly man otr woman in the group? 😔 but overall the stay was good, room is soooooo clean, tv with cable is ❤️ and the internet is way too fascinating! Till next time Yangon! 🥰
Worth the penny”
We arrived at around 1030 in the morning and although our check-in will still be at 2 pm, Mr. Nice Guy on the front desk was very accommodating to the extent that he asked us to have free breakfast. We were really thankful for that as it allowed us to save our money intended for breakfast. Also, my lady companion has a heavy bag and the staff was kind enough to assist her in going to our room. One comment would be that there is no elevator on the hotel but I think the lack thereof is compensated on the fact that the hotel is clean , the staff was helpful and it is very affordable. We had a pleasant stay on this hotel and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Super Location, good breakfast buffet. ”
The room was super nice, the shared bathroom could be cleaned more often! Big plus: bottled drinking water for free! They provide a really nice breakfast buffet with toast, soup, fresh fruit, fried noodles, sausage and fried eggs... We extended two more nights and definitely would come again!
Worth For Stay In Yangon”
Our first trip to Yangon, I don't known where is the place to stay in Yangon. And I'd search from agoda app, and i found Hotel Bonds as price 12$ per night . So i toke this hotel for my first trip in Yangon. it is located in downtown not very far form Sule Pagoda. it have Nice breakfast, clean Room and friendly staff. i had worth stay in there.
Good and recommendation
Rooms not to clean”
Average hotel. Rooms could be more clean. Beds are very clean, so it is most important. But rooms has lots of dust and more under beds and everywhere. Bathrooms is OK, but could be cleaner, corner, and pipes :(:(
Was relocated to sister company.”
I booked this hotel for cleanliness, which I'm Very picky about, and cocking possibility, (although rooms with shared bathroom seemed to have some ants). I was instead relocated to their more run down sister company which may have had better service, which I actually don't care so much for.
remember Do not book bus ticket in this hotel”
Remember do not book bus ticket in this hotel.they will book a cheap seat to you, something obstacles will make your foot no place to put.and the other book from other hotel is good and comfortable seat.if you ask them they will tell you why other can accept only you different.if you noy happy, they can give back the bus ticket to you.because they know the bus is going to start now.and you will have to accept this unfair.because go back to the downtown is .20km and cost you 10000 one way.and the company they book named bagon minto. At last i should remind you the staff also laugh at you.sometimes the customer need a apologize so simply
Great little hotel in downtown Yangon, great breakfast, location and Internet connection! ”
Reading the other reviews, we were perhaps luckier in that we had a room with big windows on the 4th floor, so not too many flights of stairs to walk up, with the benefit of the natural light. The room was very comfortable, super comfy bed, slippers and a bathrobe on offer, which I used to and from the shared bathroom. The shared bathroom wasn't a pain at all, a little mouldy (but seems a lot of buildings in Yangon suffer from mould/damp) but kept super clean so it really didn't bother us. There is plenty of free bottled water so you never run out, and the kettle in the room is always a massive bonus! We loved the breakfast as well, super good buffet with a good variety - I was happy to be able to try their famous mot hinger soup noodles for breakfast!! Super helpful, friendly staff, they made sure we never left the hotel without an umbrella, especially as my partner didn't have one during this super rainy season!! For those that are interested, good TV channels (we were craving watching some movies and some news in English after a month travelling in Myanmar) and a fantastic Internet connection - we had a router in our room and it worked like a dream. First time in Myanmar I was able to have a full online call without issues!
Good value in western Yangon city”
Quiet location outside throng of downtown, no elevator, but staff help if you have big bags, good sized rooms, but shared bathroom each floor (kept very clean), decent spread at breakfast, friendly, helpful staff. Overall, a good choice, good value in Yangon.
Excellent service and facilities ”
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We checked out in the morning but left our bags to explore as our bus was only at night. They allowed us to shower and even gave us bottled water. Also, the staff had good spoken English. Rooms are clean and they provided a range of toiletries which was very surprising! Breakfast was good too!
Small room but with everything you need!! And very nice breakfast!”
A part of being a little small, the room has everything you need (air con, small fridge, a kettle and a flat screen TV). The bed was very comfy and good size. The breakfast was really really nice (especially for the price you pay) even though it didn't change much but it had all you need (eggs/tomatoes/potatoes/sausages/pancakes/toasts/fruits/jam/butter/coffee &tea)
Really liked it”
After staying in Mandalay and Bagan, my girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by how modern this place was. The WiFi is up to Western standards, for a start! Lovely breakfasts, and the staff arranged a private car to the Golden Rock for us. Recommended.
Wanted to be more positive but overall was disappointed ”
The bedrooms are good clean and comfortable, as was the ensuite bathroom we booked the family suite with balcony. We requested not higher than the 5th floor, we were placed on the 5th floor, we had to get them to clean the floor as the floor was very dirty with food on the floor. The lounge area had a sofa coffee table a TV bracket on the wall no TV or ariel socket. The phone was on a cardboard box. The kitchen table was stacked high with drinking water bottles. There was a microwave and hotplate each time we went to reception to request pans cutlery plates, even though we showed pictures, we got something but not what we requested. In reality only floor 3 and 7 are family suits. I suspect the 2 bedrooms on floor 5 are let and the kitchen is used as additional storage. Floor 3 family suite appears to be let on a long term basis so really is never available.
Good location and friendly staff”
Located near China town. Breakfast buffet was nice and staff are friendly. Need to climb the stairs to reach my room on top floor though. Room is clean and there is a shared bathroom on each floor.
No lift and toilet not in room”
I was unlucky to get a room at 7th floor. Which they dont have lift so we need to climb to 7th floor. And the bathroom/toilet is at the end of the corridor, its a shared bathroom. It is not in the room. So my floor have 3 rooms, all 3 room guests we share that one bathroom which we have to walk along the corridor awkwardly if we want to shower.
amazing stay! ”
Great place, super clean, friendly helpful staff.... On our last day the hotel was holding our bags while we were our at the temples. Some girls going g to the bus station accidentally took our bag... The staff was amazing and tracked down the taxi with the bag and put us in a car to meet them to pick up the bag and make our bus on time... Amazing work guys! Thanks so much!
Budgeted Clean Hotel, close to downtown and great breakfast”
I stayed in a no-window room with shared bath room on the same floor. The room is clean with everything you need. The bed is comfortable and they serve a really good breakfast. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.
The location and the staff are perfect, the room was clean and confortable, I would just say that some days to share a bathroom is not easy as some people are not super clean. But I would go back to this hotel maybe with my own bathroom
awesome hotel:everything was excellent except its location.”
The staff members were friendly and great, it offered fabulous breakfast, especially, traditional Myanmar dish-mohinka! Its room and shower were very clean. All in all, I'll stay here once more if I visit Yangoon in the future!
