If you like rustic feeling to a hotel, you will love this place. Our room was located at the 3rd floor and to go up, there are 2 flights of escalators! We love it as the escalators are operates by sensors. The room is small but cosy. The bed is to my liking as it doesn't trigger my back pain. The only negative stuff about this room is the placement of TV which is above the bed. How are we going to watch tv above our bed? The receptionist is very friendly. And they obliged when we ask for extra blanket as the blanket size is too small for two people.

Value for money! Definitely! Unique hotel interior! (Remade from Old warehouse/ old theatre) Conservation building! So cultural!! You won’t feel like you are in Singapore! Wall are thick (enough) compared to similar priced hotels Eateries/convenience stores stone throw away! Close proximity to MRT station (2-3mins fast walk) The hotel staff are so accommodating! Already feels like home from the first visit!! JEN (her name I think), assisted me a few times when I blundered on my booking! And even recommended me to the eating places in the area! I almost feel like a tourist in my own country. So fun! Look for her when you are there if you encounter any problems. She can solve it! (She should be rewarded! I bought her a Coke). Lol Housekeeping auntie is nice too when I overslept a bit. Oops. I feel like booking my next stay now! Haha

Hotel location is center of Chinatown walking street, easy to find something to eat or walk to Mrt, the room is nice, the one thing that I feel not comfortable is they don’t have lift they have escalator but 1st floor is not working if you have big luggage is not recommended
