This hotel has everything you need! Basically you can just have a set of clothes to change and you can stay right in! All the basic essentials are provided, the place is beautiful with a cozy dining area and working/reading corner. This hotel surpassed others for the extra amenities provided ie. Pyjamas, makeup cleansing wash, cotton pads/buds, body scrub, disposable and non disposable slippers, totebag that store all the bathing essentials so that you wont need to struggle with your belongings to bring to the bathroom. Safe for solo travellers for the area they are situated and there is separate lift for male and female. There is public bath for a soak if you are tired and the public bath area even has makeup table with the essentials after the bath. Staff are also super friendly too. For the location, there is a lawson across the road. Quite a distance from the local station, shinsaibashi. Near alot of food area and izakaya. For the capsule i stay in, it is really spacious. I can even place my 24 inch luggage inside. Overall i really enjoyed my stay there and would love to go back again!

Worth the stay! ”
As someone who was traveling in Osaka for the first time, the convenient location of Cargo Hostel in Shinsaibashi allowed me to feel at ease while I was exploring the city. It’s also a big plus that everyone in the hostel were also respectful so I had no issue falling asleep or whatsoever! I would definitely recommend for any solo travelers who want to explore/do some shopping in Shinsaibashi area to stay here!

Cute and clean fancy capsule hotel ”
It's very nice that u get a large amount of space in your little home. They even have a little mirror, tissue box and safety box per "room". Very nice fancy touch to give us mini individually wrapped luffa for showering. Also a nice attention to detail to remove blow drivers after a certain time to not disturb others' sleep (but they're avail in onsen). They come up to clean out garbage bins and refold the top flap of toilet paper very often. I usually see it empty or fairly empty. However, one thing to keep in mind is that there usually isn't anyone at the front desk. They leave a sign up with a number to call for them to come to front desk. But for travellers who oy have data sim, this isn't very helpful. On 3 occasions where this happened, 2 times were without a telephone that they provide. There was 1 time where there was a telephone next to the sign for me to utilize. Overall, I'd highly recommend them and their staff are wonderful! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS”
My travel mission in Central Osaka was to simply experience Japan’s kitchen while entertaining my shopping habits. Cargo had made my trip more comfortable and relaxed. After getting good sleep in my private mini room at Cargo, I was able to get ready in its fully equipped washroom and shower facilities without any hassle. Cargo’s house-keeping services will provide fresh personal amenity set including a pyjama set, everyday!; and were also able to consistently maintained the whole place clean. Going back to Cargo for these facilities and services after a long day is truly a stress-reliever. What got Cargo to me was the flexibility of privately packing-unpacking my things in a mini room with purse-friendly rates, and it’s strategic location to either enjoy the shopping street of Shinsaibashi-Dotonbori-Namba area (Chou-ku) and to enjoy the less hectic area of Shinsaibashi that offers strings of small shops, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, supermarkets - all within the vicinity of train stations. Thank you to everyone at Cargo for making my trip to Osaka, a better and restful experience!

Affordable option near Dotonbori! Location: it's not super close to Shinsaibashi shopping street (which is easy to spot from the distance with all the bright store lights) but it's definitely walkable distance. If you care for escalators and not having to drag your suitcase along the sidewalk, at the end of the block you'll see a "Crysta" exit. It's an underground shopping mall that's connected to the Osaka subway! From this exit, Hotel Cargo is about 3-4 blocks walk instead of walking all the way from Shinsaibashi station (which you technically still are but the underground shopping mall protects you from the elements). Room/Capsule: honestly it was a bit awkward adjusting to at first but once you get the hang of it, you can totally crawl or squat your way into your room (whatever fits you). Love love the shower bag and super soft PJs that were provided each day. There's extra fluffy blankets and memory foam pillows by the elevators and boy did it help. TBC!

Most capsule hotel wont even let you have space to your luggage into the "room/capsule/cabin", but at Cargo you can put ur luggage with u!! They even have USB wall plugs, a cupboard enough for 1-2 big coats, a mini safe box and a mini dresser!!! most capsule hotel requires you to have bath at a common floor which means u need to bring your toiletries to another floor just to get bath. At Cargo, the bathing area and lavatory in the same room!! So, after a long and tired day, you do not have to pack your toiletries and get to another level!! Location is a good 10-15mins walk to the famous Shinsaibashi shopping street and train station! Talking about train station, I notice it's actually near to more than 2 train station!!! Several Convenience stores around, 5mins walk to a 24hr supermarket, Kohyo, as well as a Macdonald!

I was expecting a small cramped capsule but Cargo did surprise and impress me. The capsule was a large capsule, when I put in two large luggage’s there were still sufficient space for maneuvering. In addition, there were bottled drinks, power socket, mirror, comfortable pillow and bed and blanket, box of tissue, audiotechnic headphone, ear plug, tv provided within your own capsule. There is also no need to go to the shared bathroom as each floor has two shower cubicle and toilet separately. The facilities were very new or they have maintained the facilities very well. They provided all sorts of washing foam, shave foam, soap, gel etc for you to look good before making your way out to tour. Everything is wonderful in my opinion. The only downside is that you need to walk at least 8 mins from the nearest subway which is Shinsaibashi.

The highlight of my trip”
Compared to other capsule hotels at the same price point, Hotel Cargo is gorgeous. Everything, from the rooms to the toilet and bath was sleek, modern, new, and spotless. They don't have a laundry room, but the staff will gladly show you to the nearest laundromat. Also, hotel is a little out of the way from the metro (about 8-9mins away), but for the price and quality you get, I would gladly stay here again.

It is very high recommended for those who wants to go to osaka. 5 mins to shinsaibashi suji shopping street, two stops from Shin Osaka Station and also surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants. This place serve amazing breakfast and provide amenities. It is kind of 5 star capsule hotel and they have public bath on 9th floor. Its amazing but little bit pricey for capsule hotel. One of the receiptionist speaks bahasa indonesia because he is half indonesian & half japanesse

Good for traveler with small luggage”
We choose to stay in a capsule hotel as we had never tried it before and wanted to have a nice try in Japan. So we stayed in cargo hotel for 3 nights when we visited osaka. We enjoyed the public bathroom after day long walking and shopping in osaka. However, as it is capsule hotel, so the soundproof is a bit troublesome for light sleeper. When people roaming thru the corridor or packing in their room, there will be lot of noises. And we had big luggage with us, and there are no lockers provided, we can only either choose to keep the luggage at lobby or in our room. After putting everything in our room, it makes our room spaces narrower. Overall, we still had pleasant stay in cargo hotel. Recommended to travel light if choose to stay in a capsule hotel.

Nice hostel in between two stations”
Pros 1. Value for your money 2. Best location : in between Shinsaibashi and Sakaisuji Hommachi, you can swith 2 mrt lines easily, lawson is very near by and there is a nice yakisoba shop near hotel that u should try 3. Very clean and they provide full set of amenities even pajama! They will give you new towel and pajama everyday. 4. I love the fact that they will collect all hair dryer after 9pm and u have to go to public bath on 9th floor to use it so that the noise does not wake us up 5. Room is very big, can fit large luggage Con 1. You will wake up easily If u get room infront bath room because of noise everytime someone use it 2. There is no mix room. Separate side for men and women. I stay here with my friend so we have to meet at 2nd floor as always 3. Wifi speed is not consistent. 90% too slow to watch even short youtube (i stay at 6th floor men side but my friend stay at 8th floor women side and she does not have any problem with the wifi 4. Air con is too hot for me
