    Set in a stately 1920’s big house, Hotel Casa Higueras features a swimming pool overlooking the bay, and a spa. There is a restaurant, and free WiFi is provided. Valparaiso city centre is a 15-minute walk away. Soberly decorated in soft hues, rooms at Casa Higueras Hotel feature parquet floor and large windows. All of them feature plasma TVs with a DVD player. Guests are welcome to stay with their children 12 years or older. Breakfast including dried fruits, juices, jams, cereals, a variety of cheese and hams, and different types of bread is served daily. The restaurant offers a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes, which are prepared using local products. Spa facilities include a sauna and a hot tub.     Romantic, beautiful ”

    We had a wonderful stay at Casa Higueras on our honeymoon. Not only did the hotel provide excellent service and facilities, but gorgeous sweeping views of Valparaiso and an incredibly sophisticated atmosphere with understated beauty. Special bonuses of a wonderful hotel restaurant (rated as one of Valparaiso’s best), romantic live music (a guitarist and saxophonist) during dinner, a lovely pool, and the ability to borrow some classic movies from reception for free to watch in your room if you needed some rest like we did.
