Empathetic and compassionate”
The staff at Hotel Catedral have been stellar since Day 1 until I checked out. I was there from Jan 21 to Jan 25 (Room 403) and they were part of making my first trip to Mexico really memorable. They have an interesting list of tour packages, but I've not tried them. Instead, I had planned on going to Queretaro to explore the region's wine scene. And while the hotel offers this package, there's a minimum of 5 people for the wine tour. There were only 3 of us plus my 10-month-old godson. Even if I did not meet the required quota, they offered to help me hire a private car that would take my companions and I to my chosen winery in Queretaro and everything was smooth and feasible. Our driver Louis was nice and understanding,especially with the child's needs. The location of Hotel Catedral, its unusually high ratings, reasonably priced rooms, and reviews from past and repeat guests are what drew me to book with this hotel and having now just experienced it myself, I do recommend this, especially for those traveling to Mexico for the first time. Why? It's because the hotel is surrounded by historical sites, souvenir shops, libraries, pharmacies, and convenience stores, and a variety of restaurants and eateries. Everything you need is within reach. Laura, Anna and team are excellent as they got us a spacious car that was comfortable for an almost 3-hour journey. They understood what it was like traveling with a baby. Another thing is the service. Staff are polite as well. My room didn't come with breakfast though. They have a desayuno buffet, which I still got to enjoy. Plus points for me were the nice cuppa tsokolate drinks. Definitely, I'd be booking with them again. And hopefully, I'll get my balcony room next time.

Nice hotel in Center close to Zacalo”
The hotel is perfectly located in the historic district. A 5 min walk will bring you to the Zacalo. We loved the spacious room. The service was very friendly and professionell. 2 minor things could be bettter: We had a room with a window to the inside hall of the building. When we opemed the window we had all the smell from the kitchen in our room. Not a big deal. We just kept the window closed. The other thing is that the breakfast room (with a fantastic selection of Mexican food; several things are made fresh to the order) is quite small. One day we had an overflow but the staff had a quick solution and opened the restaurant where we could order our breakfast from the menue without a charge. Again, the staff is very helpfull and friendly. I can recommend this hotel and will come back if I'll be in Mexico City again.

Dead Center of the Historic District”
Great hotel and great staff. If you want to experience CDMX, this is the place. Be advised though, it is a bit crowded, but fun.

Amazing stay”
Hotel was older and nice, area is historic, clean, quiet, lots to see and eat, and safe. Staff were attentive and friendly, thank you all for that. Food was delicious at the restaurant! Will stay again if I’m staying in historic center.

Room was quite usually so I could sleep well. and Staffs are kind and faithful. they cleaned room from early. it was impressed as good meaning. Wi-fi connect was little stuffy. slow and sometimes hard to connect again. and the door of bathroom was so stiff. little hard to close door every time.

The hotel is nearby the tourist attractions, walking to distance to restaurants and shops. Staffs are very approachable and helpful. Mexican buffet breakfast is good. Unlimited chips, nuts, cookies, drinks (coffee/tea) at the front desk. Great value for money.

Ya me hospedé varias veces en diferentes años, y siempre el servicio es inmejorable. La atención del personal es destacable, empezando por quienes te reciben las valijas al llegar, pasando por la recepción, las personas que atienden el desayuno y el personal de limpieza. El desayuno es variado y muy rico. Me tocó una habitación con vista hermosa a la calle Donceles. Seguiré regresando toda vez que visite Ciudad de México.

ソカロ近くのお得なホテル”
初めてのメキシコシティひとり旅で少々不安だったのでソカロ近くのこちらのホテルに泊まりました。まず立地は申し分ありません。なのに値段はかなり安く、朝食もついていました。それからスタッフがフレンドリーで英語で対応してくれた所がポイントが高いです。次にメキシコシティに行くことがあったらまたお世話になりたいです。
