Travelling with my sister”
Overall, good. It's a shame I couldn't make it for their Breakfast. It would be great. The bath tub and shower facility is awesome. Hotwater is consistent and really hot. Frontdesk staff is Japanese. They're kind and helpful. Photocopied maps, drinking water provided at the lobby. Great!! The only issue with my stay was, only smoking room was left, so i had to take the smoking room. But i do not know how to get rid of the smoking smell, or at least lighten it.

big room”
A bit far away from sakae station. But close to Parco and main shopping malls. The room is spacious and you can open ur lugguage easily. The facilities are bit old but its worth the price.

Worth going for the breakfast!”
We only stayed one night in Nagoya, to catch up with friends in Kanayama and go to the science museum (close by). Other members in our group went to the castle, the tower and the Tokugawa Art Museum. The Hotel Cent Main Nagoya's central location meant that we could do all of these easily. The buffet breakfast was magnificent. We only had backpacks because we had checked our luggage through from Takayama to Kyoto with takkyubin - if we had more luggage with us, a hotel closer to Nagoya railway station would have been necessary.

Nice and Cheap hotel”
Nice hotel equipped with large room, the bathroom is also large. Close to Sakae, one of the largest district in Nagoya

Typical business hotel”
Clean rooms. Great value. Although is a little bit far from the station but who cares because we are cyclist. Plenty to walk around and shop because the hotel is walking distance from Nagoya shopping district. The only complaint was the hotel doesn't have a luggage storage facility which is a must in Japan due to their inflexible check in and check out time.

Good value for money, comfortable and clean”
This hotel is good value for money. The room is not big, but quite enough. Bathroom is spacious, everything is clean, beds are comfortable. Staff is very attentive and helpful, overcoming all language difficulties. Buffet breakfast is great with both Japanese and Western dishes, great variety every day. There is microwave oven downstairs and Internet point as well. No WiFi in the room, but there is a network cable to connect a laptop. The only minus I found is that windows cannot be open, but the air con is, of course, working for both cooling and heating.

Good budget option”
Stayed here for a couple of nights. The staff were helpful - they allowed me to leave some of my luggage here several days beforehand. Also were helpful with lending me an iron. Room was nice enough - slightly tired but very clean. Breakfast was buffet style. Ranging from standard Japanese and Western breakfast foods to the slightly bizzare, but hey it's part of the experience and you can choose what you wish to eat. Hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the closest subway station. One of the streets nearby was slightly seedy - got a couple of offers - but I never felt unsafe.

A Bad place to stay ages from transport”
One of the average places we stayed on our holiday, hotel is AGES away from public transport, and I mean ages away, you also have to navigate through a few little streets to get there, there is nothing near here in regards to shopping comparitive to the rest of Japan. The reason we chose Nagoya was for Nagashima Spa land (1 hour away) and shrines etc, which there were 0 of in a reasonable distance from this hotel, was a real waste of time in general, the people are nowhere near as friendly as the rest of Japan here either, possibly due to the number of white Americans travelling these days... One staff member was a stand out he really did his best to help us out, otherwise the only redeeming quality is that it has its own coin laundry. We left the 'Do Not Disturb' sign out one day as we had left a lot of our stuff unpacked because it was a short stay here and they came in the room anyway!! You have to leave your key at the hotel, which is ridiculous in my opinion, and otherwise it was a bad stay, the only thing it has going is cost...

Good Value for Money”
This hotel was very good value for the price. Simple, rather old, but perfectly functional. One caveat: the breakfast was a strange combination of Japanese/foreign food, not bad, but not the kind of things - such as soup - I would expect for breakfast. I certainly wouldn't order the breakfast again.

Very good”
It’s quite far from subway station. 800m from Yabacho and 950m from Sakae. Its a good 10-15 min walk. Other than that, the room has good amenities.

Hotel was fine, good location”
The hotel was satifactory, the triple room is a bit cramped but apart from that the room was just fine. The buffet breakfast was nice, lots of shops a short walk away. There's also a park and the science and art museum which are not too far from the hotel. There are loads of restaurants to choose from.

A bit far from Sakae but in walking distance”
The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from Sakae station. There are many bars, restaurants and convenience stores around. Hotel rooms are not new but clean.

Not tourist-friendly”
This hotel is quite close to the Sakae shopping area, but it will still take around 15 minutes to walk, so it is not ideal if you’re with family and kids. Designated parking spot available for 1,000 Yen per night. Room is comfortable and clean, but bathroom kits are not up to standard and you have to take disposable comb in lobby. WiFi password not provided until asked. No PC station in lobby even though website says there is one. Buffet breakfast is of average quality and there isn’t a lot of dishes to choose from. Staff ignores us from time to time and gave priority to locals. Service is not satisfactory. Experience does not match with the price paid and would not recommend it.

Solo Traveler”
It was near an underground station and is 2 stations away from Namba, one the busy centre for travellers. Cost is fair with single room and bathroom.
