                Very authentic hotel. ”
This quaint hotel is just inside the old Médina so it has a very authentic feel. It is an older building, and you are close to the port, so there are some “dank” smells, but it is kept as clean as possible. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We felt like we got a “real” Morocco feel by staying here. Our room was right over the square so it got a bit noisy (kids playing ball, people enjoying their afternoon coffee & cigarette, etc.) even into bedtime, so be sure to take earplugs. There is a great balcony on the rooftop with a view of the port and water. It is nice for sitting with a glass of wine. The place isn’t for everybody ( it has a bit of a youth hostel feel) but we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was great! There is a small grocery store around the corner, but the wine store is a petite taxi ride away. We enjoyed walking through the Médina from this side because we weren’t hassled by the shop owners like you are entering from the Main Street side.

                Good value hotel ”
Good value for money, we booked it as Hotel Central , but it’s also advertised as a Youth Hostel...(it has better facilities than a youth hostel though with en-suite rooms)...... however being in the medina a bit noisy in a night for sleeping overlooking the main square with constant motorbikes at all hours... We found the pillows very hard for sleeping on. Room could have been a bit cleaner, especially bathroom but I’ve seen worse. Plenty of hot water for showering. Room doors are hard to open/close but once mastered it becomes easier. Breakfast was good with bread, pastries & poached egg served to you on a tray. The staff were very friendly & helpful (spoke very good English) . We’d stay again but request a room at the back of the building.

                Charming Old World Casablanca”
No doubt the location of this Hotel is perfect on the edge of the medina on a plaza with short distance to gare de casa port. It has all the charm you would expect for Morocco with ornate finishes and a slight weariness of ages past. Men drink coffee at the Cafe below my balcony while children play in the plaza. The staff are friendly and we enjoyed our time here. Merci

Hotel Central has cute rooms in an old building, with winding narrow streets and dozens of little shops just around the corner. There's a bank that will change currency 50 meters away. The only drawback was the talking of men and loud teenagers on the street cafes just below our rooms. It did not quiet down until well after midnight.

Do not expect luxury for this price, but a lovely decorated and ideally located hotel with friendly hosts. The hotel offers fantastic views of the harbour and is located at a nice little square at the border of the old medina, where children are playing under the trees and locals and tourists sip from their coffees on the terraces.

As a female solo traveler: Pros: - 9 minutes walk to Rick’s Cafe - 25 minutes walk to the Hassan II Mosque - comfortable bed - own terrace - heating in showers - accommodating staff Cons: - it’s located in a plaza where lots of men watch tv in cafes and can be very bothersome for foreign women (myself a Southeast Asia. I’ve been call China many times I walk by) - the plaza is dirty and reeks of urine. Even saw a man defecating in that plaza. Disgusting. The hostel of course has nothing to do with that except it’s situated there. Other than that, Hotel Central is highly recommended.

No nonsense lodgings. Rooms aren't big or fancy, but for the price you get all you need. I was in two rooms, and in each of them, one of the two bed-lights had no bulb. Small ceiling bulb can keep the rooms a bit dim, but otherwise just fine. Cleaning staff were all very sweet. Hotel is right there in old-town Medina.

Close to train station, nearby restaurants, great value
If you know exactly where to go, you can easily walk to the hotel from the train station. There is a plaza in front of the hotel where local men hang out and drink and be noisy till late. Motorbikes, shouting, and smashing glass will last till around 10pm then its usually quiet till around 6am. The fish restaurant nearby is overpriced and terrible quality. Go around back of the hotel and find the sandwich shop stand, its cheap and delicious. The hotel staff is friendly and will help you where you want to go and how to get there.

                Decent Hotel”
This hotel is located on the corner of the Medina, and a walking distance from Casa Port train station (10min or so walk). We found it quite easily and checked in. The staff were nice enough and showed us to our room which was on the third floor. One important thing to note is there are no elevators in this hotel so we had to carry our luggage up and down those flights of stairs. The room itself was small but comfy enough. Our room faced the square and there is a cafe just below so it was quite noisy even until about 11pm so we had to close the shutters. The bathroom was very small and got a little cold and moist as the shower water sprays out, and there wasn't any ventilation fans inside. Breakfast was nice as the cafe next door provides the food. Mint tea was provided and a nice spread of bread, jam, cheese and a hard boiled egg. All in all, for the price paid, it was decent and we just stayed one night, so it was pleasant enough.

Perfect location! Right in the heart of the medina, less than 5 min walk from a tram stop (tram is very cheap in Casablanca). We arrived late and checked out very early and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was nice and tidy, getting cleaned regularly and we had a balcony overlooking the little square in front. The Wi-Fi covers the entire hotel and it's very fast. The breakfast is great and cheap. We particularly loved the rooftop terrace which provides 360 degree views of the entire city. We'd definitely stay again!

                Safe and secure”
having arrived late at night in Casablanca previously i wanted to make sure yhe.property was in a safe location and it was. Really easy access from the main road, 5 min walk from the train station, lookingnonyo a communal square with a few little cafes. A really pleasany suprise. The staff are friendly the breakfast is good, i would love to say thisnis a boutique hotel as it has all the features you would expect, juliette balconies, chesterfield and cool seating areas on each floor and beautiful mosaic tile work. In need of a little upgrade but it is an authenitic Moroccan designed hotel with comfy and clean rooms. 100% value for money, safe and clean in a pretty intimidating city.
