The room is larger than normal japanese hotels which is a big advantage for us.

Top location - top room - top view”
Absolutely top location in the centre of 3 JR/Subway Stations. Less than 5 min walk from Shinjuku Narita Airport Express Station. Hotel lobby with restaurant/bar is located on the 20th fl of Century Southern Tower. Easy access to different street levels. Fantastic view, big rooms. with all what you need and expect in a 4-star hotel. The quality of this hotel has a price but it worth. The only improvement could be donewith a more various selection on the breakfast buffet, just ok with limited choices and every day same! Shopping and outgoing quarters at walking distance.
Extremely convenient, right at the top of Shinjuku station”
It's a really convenient hotel located right on top of Shinjuku station, and connected with the huge Takashimaya department store complex. Perfect for those who wants to do shopping. You can simply go shopping first, take your stuff back to hotel and go out for food. There's no need to worry about wasting time. Hotel reception is located high up on 20th floor and all rooms are located above this floor. My room had a really magnificent view of the Shinjuku garden and buildings in Tokyo. The room is, to my surprise, quite spacious, from Tokyo standard! All amenities are very clean. However, I feel the staff I had wasn't particularly nice. Oh, another great thing is, if you have rented a car, do park your car in the basement of the Southern Tower building and get a ticket for 24 hour parking from the hotel (it costs just 1000Yen). Remember that the ticket can only be used once - I had a misunderstanding on this with the staff.
Nice hotel ”
The rooms at Century Southern were fantastic: modern, much larger than your typical Japanese hotel room, our most comfortable beds in Japan, expansive views of Shinjuku....the hotel itself is also really nice. In terms of location, the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the amazing Shinjuku national garden, but other than that, the immediate area isn't that exciting ( although it is walking distance from some of the major department stores if you're into shopping). The best thing about the location is that it's near the Shinjuku train station, which is a major rail hub, and also the starting point for the Narita airport express.
Exceptional”
Hotel Century Southern Tower is a modern and wonderful hotel with terrific staff and room amenities. It's located just outside of Shinjuku Station and there are restaurants and department stores just steps away,
Exceptional”
I had been to Tokyo 8 times and I spent 3 times staying at Century Southern Tower Hotel. I will stay there again for its location. Its one of the limosine bus stop to/from both Narita and Haneda airport.
Location is the king!!”
The location is perfect. It is just 5 minutes walk to the JR Shinjuku Station new southern exit, 3 min. from Takashimaya/Tokyo Hands. For 10 minutes, you can have shopping district and variety of restaurants to choose. There are 2 Big Camera stores nearby so you can buy digital equipment, toys, vitamin, or cloths. My room is very big for Tokyo standard. The bath tub is comfortable. I didn't eat at the hotel so I can't say anything about it. There are lots of restaurant and cafe nearby. Will book this hotel again next time.
Fantastic location, attentive staff.”
This was my first time in Tokyo, and after doing a lot of research I decided staying in Shinjuku suited my trip the best. The location of this hotel is fantastic, it’s right next to Shinjuku station and a short walk to the heart and soul of Shinjuku. The rooms are lovely and spacious (especially considering your in Tokyo). The bathroom is big and the shower is amazing, it’s so powerful, probably the best shower i’ve Had in Asia. The staff were fantastic, so very polite and helpful, everything you would expect from Japanese people. The room was non smoking, however there is a smoking room on the 21st floor which is open 24/7. We never used the room service or restaurants, so I can’t comment on those. However I highly recommend “Luke’s lobster” food van which can be found outside the hotel on certain days. The WiFi was fast and free. The views were fantastic especially at night, and the rooms always felt fresh after being cleaned. I would definitely stay here again.
great hotel in Tokyo”
Our 3-nights stay in Hotel Century Southern Tower have been a pleasant one. The hotel is located within 5mins walk from Shinjuku station which make traveling within Tokyo very convenient. Hotel room is clean equipped with comfort beds. WiFi signal is good and hotel staffs are helpful. Nothing to really complain about this hotel.
Perfect location. Spacious room in Tokyo’s standards. ”
Awesome view. Room was spacious for Tokyo’s standards. Room was very clean. We had a King Sized Bed which was very comfortable. The pillows were very soft and comfy too. Very accessible. Location was superb. It was just a few steps away from Shinjuku station. Airport Express Train has a stop at this station. You can also ride the Airport Limousine Bus straight from the hotel. Easy to get on and off the train to go to different areas in Tokyo. Malls were also very near the hotel so easy to shop. The area was very quiet (which was a good thing for us). But if you’re the type who wants to go around at night and eat/drink, this is not the place. But if you’re okay to walk a little further, you can actually reach the brighter 24hr life of Shinjuku at the other side (East exit from the train station, i think. Hotel was at the South Exit.) Staff were polite and friendly. They were very helpful. Overall 5/5 for me. :)
perfect experience”
My wife and I celebrate her birthday in Tokyo. We had a very good time in Century Southern Tower Hotel.
Excellent Choice in Shinjuku”
The Hotel Century is just a short walk down a pedestrian path from the south entrance to the Shinjuku station, which is served by express trains from Narita Airport. I had one of the more spacious single rooms (3063), 10 floors up from the lobby. The room made very good use of the space and was a pleasure to return to after a busy day. The included breakfast spread was excellent, as was the ambiance of the breakfast room; I also enjoyed dinner with my business colleagues in the Chinese restaurant on the 19th floor. For a good view, ask for a room facing east or south.
Amazing views but check your detailed terms and conditions!”
This hotel was very good value in central Shinjuku, Tokyo. Despite the close proximity of one of the busiest stations in the world, it was not at all noisy. The views from our room (30th floor) were truly stunning and overlooked the main areas of Tokyo. The room was plush and a good size for Tokyo. However, there are a few buts to this review. When we arrived, despite booking for four people, the room offered was for two only. After some debate - (including staff drawing two single beds and two stick men in each bed to imply we share the beds), we took the room as it was late. We pushed two singles together, and three of us slept there (2 adults and a nine-year-old). There was a sofa, chair and stool, so we pushed them together and the eleven-year-old slept there. When we booked on Agoda, it stated breakfast was included, however, in the print of one of the hotel e-mails children had to pay for breakfast. This was disappointing and I think Agoda should make this much clearer.
Family of 4”
2 adults, 2 kids (8 and 6 years old); Booked Standard Double Room w/ King Bed 26 sqm. 5 night stay. With our kids being young enough, we wanted to stay in one room together. We were quite happy to have found this hotel. The location was perfect specially in regards to being able to easily use Tokyo's Subway system. It's proximity to the Shinjuku station as well as the Yoyogi station made getting around easy. The room had an armchair and an ottoman that I was able to put together and use as a bed so my wife and kids slept quite well on the king bed. However, I am only 5'8" tall and 145lbs, so take that into consideration. The hotel gives 2 free water bottles daily and there is also a vending machine nearby for more drinking options. We used the Family Mart nearby for our 5 day supply of water. For first time visitors in Tokyo, I highly recommend this hotel.
Good location for Shinjuku Station”
I chose this hotel for my last night in Tokyo so I could get to Shinjuku Station and the Narita Express easily with my luggage. The hotel was great for this and allowed for easy access without any stairs with a 7 minute walk. Pros: Easy access to Shinjuku rail, wonderful views, spacious room, clean, comfortable bed, no iPhone jack but there is an inbuilt travel adapter Cons: Feels a little far from the action other than department stores or rail amenities, charged room tax on check out (I thought this was included in Agoda tariff??), a bit stingy with bathroom amenities- this is the only hotel or Ryokan I've stayed in Japan that didn't provide facial cleansers or lotions. For the money I would have expected more.
Excellent hotel in Tokyo”
We used to stay in Hotel Century Southern Tower every time when we visited Tokyo.
Conveniently located hotel in shinjuku”
Pro: hotel is between shinjuku and Yoyogi station. Use the Yoyogi station if you do not wish for a meltdown figuring out 6 stories platform with 200exits at shinjuku. Hotel is 4 mins walk from shinjuku new south exit (at new women). Hotel is opposite Takashimaya and Tokyu hands. Shake shack at ground level of hotel, tim Ho wan right outside the hotel, pizza and Vietnamese /thai restaurant on the ground level of hotel. Room facilities: English channels: CNN, BBC, channel news Asia, limited English movies (available usually more often in the day than night) , no children channel. Polite and helpful staff who will help to reserve airport limousine bus to airport. Bus pick up is on ground level of hotel which is super convenient. Hotel supply bottled shampoo, conditioner, body wash and Shiseido facial wash. 24hours family mart 2 minutes walk towards Yoyogi station. Cons: no cons. You pay for convenience.
Outstanding”
Located in the much nicer and quieter part of Shinjuku/Shibuya. A few minutes walk to/from Shinjuku Station (Narita Express and Tokyo Subway), shopping malls and several must-eat places. Excellent buffet breakfast, likely one of the best we've ever had. The hotel restaurant also offers a great view. Room is clean and spacious by Japan standards. Friendly and polite staff. If I must nitpick, the only negatives I found is that you need to take 2 elevators to get to or from your room and they charge you even for local phone calls.
great hotel...”
was glad to have stayed at hotel century southern tower, location is very good and rooms are big!
Best Hotel and location Shinjuku Station”
This hotel is located right outside the New South Exit Shinjuku Station. Very nice view since lobby is on 20th floor and rooms located above. Rooms are very large most with a sitting area and a desk with drawers. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only thing I wish was a laundry center. There is a nice restaurant, bar, and sundry store located next to lobby. Takashimaya and Tokyo Hands store located across hotel. They just opened a Shake Shack on the terrace.
Location location location”
I travel to tokyo every year and always stayed at this hotel. Location is only 3 mins away from shinjuku south exit, with access to yamanote and chuo line. They got limousine bus at the hotel lobby also to travel to haneda. Rooms are spacious for a tokyo hotel, and my son always enjoy staying there. A nit expensive but you can't beat the accessibility..
