I will personally gaurantee you will not regret booking!! 7-Stars”

Hi Andre, I just wanted to thank you once again for your hospitality during my stay at the hotel Chinzanso. My only regret is that I didn't book my whole trip at your hotel... The following was written up for Agoda travel - I mean every word of it and I promise you, your hotel would be my first recommendation as part of my experience. Working for an airline and within the industries best, I hope I provide that referral of choice to colleagues and friends alike. Topic summary: Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo - I will personally gaurantee you will not regret booking!! 7-Stars Where to start... First and foremost, thank you Andre Sol and the team at Chinzanso hotel - wow! What an experience! Rather than just writing a shpill, here is the reality of experience in bullet points... 1. Gardens of bliss 2. Views, nothing short of breath taking (will upload pics) 3. Room was clean, comforting, blissful, and simply elegant in every way possible 4. For those that have visited Japan before... this hotel is Western friendly and completely understanding of cultural differences 5. A concierge service that will be setting a new industry standard! wow! Man what an experience!! 6. Quality of food, up there with Tokyo's best - with choice for all budgets and tastes! 7. Freak'n unreal everything - please do yourself a favour and book!  Kind staff, courteous, accommodating, considerate, and supportive to your personal travel agenda without bias...  Kindest regards

Amazing Experience”

We had been to Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo on a tour in December 2017. On this tour, we walked part of the beautiful gardens, ate at one of the restaurants, and partook in a traditional tea ceremony. When we returned to Tokyo in July 2018, staying at this hotel was something that was really tempting - and I am so glad we ultimately decided to do so. The room was amazing, the room staff very thorough, and the rest of the staff immensely helpful. The gardens were amazing. When we return to Tokyo, it will be on our short list of options to stay again.

Gardens beautiful, hotel top”

We were debating staying here for our entire Tokyo stay or at the Imperial Hotel--we ended up staying at both hotels. The Imperial's location was great (in terms of getting to other areas of Tokyo) but Hotel Chinzanso was a true luxury hotel. The room was really nice--they had amenities for our children and had a crib and baby friendly items. Having access to the beautiful garden makes the longer walk to the subway not a problem. There was a tiny playground nearby. When we come again to Tokyo, we will stay here the entire time... since generally once we left our hotel, we didn't return until the end of the day, so location doesn't matter as much.

Dear Guest, Thank you for visiting us with your lovely children. We are happy to hear that you will choose our hotel again for your next stay, maybe in another season when the garden has a different charm. With warm regards, Andre (Guest Services)

Amazing!”

Food, room, staff

Hotel Chinzanso was an incredible experience, to kick things off I found a fantastic deal with Agoda and when I arrived to check in I was informed that our room had been upgraded! Even if that wasn't the case i do think I would would have enjoyed our experience just as much. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant down stairs, a 5 course meal followed by Coffee or tea for on 7,000JPY was unbelievably good, then we enjoyed a free drink at the bar which every guest is entitled too which was a nice way to finish our evening Bravo Chinzanso! The staff was great, the room was clean and comfortable and the food was out of this world!!! 10 / 10 from me!

Exceptional”

Hotel Chinzanso is a great place to stay, rooms are large compared to most hotels in Tokyo, service was second to none. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable. We get a free smart phone, with unlimited data and local and international calls, used it to navigate the city the entire time, and even make a call back to the US at no charge, saved us money on getting a SIM card for our own phone. The hotel has a beautiful Japanese garden, walked through it every day on our way out. The only slight downside is it’s a little further out of town, a 10min walk to the subway station, but a lovely walk through a park. All in all, would definitely stay there again.

A Touch Of Serenity In Tokyo”

Location. Friendly Staff. Close to everything, but away from the crowds.

This was my second time at the Hotel Chinzanzo. First time I was with my husband. We loved it. This time I was lucky enough to bring two of my adult daughters with me. I don't think they quite believed how beautiful the hotel really was until we drove down the driveway. The trees were all lit up ready for Christmas. It was such a beautiful sight. Once inside they were totally in awe. Once again I could not fault a thing. The welcome from the service staff, to the maid service. The managers go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect with your stay. Special thanks to Guest Manager Andre' & our wonderful front door service man Leo. When in Tokyo, Chinzanso is my first choice.

Grand but aging hotel with fabulous garden”

Love this place. Great for longer stays (especially if includes weekend), but not for quick business trips. Location is plus and minus: a good 15 min taxi to financial center, but when you get out there you feel away from the din and hubbub and can really relax. Huge and lovely garden. Quiet, slow pace inside. Relaxing spa. Hotel staff also lovely. And with proliferation of high end places in Tokyo now charging in the $600-900 range per night (Four Seasons, Hyatts, Peninsula, Mandarin, Shangri La, Ritz-Carlton, Capitol, the new Palace), you can often get a nice rate at the Chinzanso.

It's truly a wonderful experience to stay at the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo. The legendary garden in the snow amazed us, the beauty is far beyond the description of words. Our stay at the Chinzanso hotel was the perfect holiday experience. The hotel is beautifully designed and everything was exceptionally maintained, the lobby had an abudance of flowers and the aroma of the flowers was incredible. The service was 6 star and every staff member was friendly and helpful. The Japanese garden is amazing and has such a wonderful history. We reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting Tokyo.

Elegant and relaxing stay”

Excellent room, incredible food and restaurants, stunning garden

This was my first time to stay at this hotel as I usually stay in the central parts of the city. I was blown away by this hotel and the quality of my stay. This is the most absolutely relaxing place I have stayed in Tokyo in all my recent travels. The hotel is filled with gardens, lounges and restaurants and the executive room that I was upgraded to was like living in a small apartment vice a hotel. Best of all, no noise. Absolute quiet reigns at this hotel and I got some of the most relaxing sleep in Tokyo that I have ever had. If you have a chance to stay here you need to try it. Don't let the reviews about it being isolated turn you away. It is only around 1000 yen by taxi to Mejiro station and from there you can get anywhere in Tokyo in 30 minutes. This place is a hidden gem for sure.

Top hotel with top kitchen”

We spent a couple of days in the Chinzanso and most of our Tokyo time exploring the town. Consequently we had too little opportunity to experience the hotel to the fullest. Our overall impression is one of excellence, for the staff who were always very helpful and cortuous, for the rooms, spacious, well equiped and clean. After our arrival following a lomg flight, we had a very nice light meal before retiring. All very much to our satisfaction.

Spectacular service!!”

Service, Room comfort, cleanliness

Our stay at the hotel Chinzanso was great. Service is impeccable. Probably the best I have ever experienced. Despite the language barrier staff remember your name and your preferences. They really make you feel at home. The only downside for tourist could be the location. It is a little far from the metro station but if you like quiet after a hectic day and don't mind a little bit of a walk it is perfect. Of course there is always the "Taxi" alternative.

In a city that is full of 5 star hotels stuck in the 1980s/90s, this property stands out indeed, both for its rooms and gardens. Superb comfort and above and beyond service by the staff. Great value vs. other Tokyo properties as well. Check out the Soba restaurant in the gardens, a true hidden gem. Will be back for sure.
