awesome place for a short gateway. very friendly staff ( Hotel Clover 769 North Bridge Road) and quick response from guest requirements. would recommend to anyone who wants to have a nice and comfortable stay in Singapore.
The receptionist Nina was very kind and helpful. This hotel room was pretty clean and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.. if you are a foodie then this is the ideal place for you.. Bugis street is about 10 mins walk from here. I was in this hotel for over a week and really enjoyed my stay. The bus stand is on the opposite side of hotel Clover.
If there was no happening on the last day ...”
I think you can't better hotel in Singapore at this price. Elegant and practical design for their relative spacious room (I like the shower room especially), quite at night, some cheap spa nearby, a nice indian restaurant open till late, etc. Of course it's not in the best area but considering the size of Singapore, it's still a better to spend a little more on taxi but much less on hotel. Staff are efficient and helpful, no complaint, but on my departure date there was some sort of video shooting in lobby, I was not informed so when I walked out of elevator the crew were staring right at me like I walked into a wrong place (it's c/o time what did I suppose to do ...) finally they allowed me out of the elevator to finish my c/o, but I had to drag myself and luggage out to wait for my taxi on the street because the lobby was still occupied ... By the way, want to thank the reception in their sister hotel at Sultan Street, she helped me to find the right hotel while taxi dropped me at the wrong place when I arrived.
clean and nice hotel”
1st checked in we got a room at 8th floor. it was a very small clean room. but on the 2nd checked in, we got a room on the 1st floor. that was a bigger room. the hotel was absolutely clean and nice on the strategic location. near sultan mosque. bugis mrt station was about 500m. this was recommended hotel and sure will stay here again in my next visit to singapore
A cozy place to stay”
My last trip was in Chiangmai and Bangkok, whose hotels are totally different from where I stayed in Singapore. Unlike the spacious and magnificent decor in the hotels of CNX and BKK, the clover in Singapore is quite small but well-equipped. I could stay in the hotel whole day actually because the air gives off a refreshing and detoxing essence that makes me very comfortable and feel like home. I like its vintage decor with woods and clover hangings making a whole picture. I was surprisingly upgraded as I checked in. The only weak point I felt about this hotel is that the wall and door are not so sound-proof... you can hear the noise from the neighboring doors as the other guests make a little move! But in general, I highly suggest this hotel! Good location!!!!
Booked a night for my boyfriend's birthday - Double Room with Hot Tub (Outdoor). The hotel was filled with a very nice fragrance and the room was clean. It was a comfortable stay, however had a higher expectation on the size of the room. Will definitely come back for Hotel Clover again (with bigger room)!
Small boutique hotel”
We liked the location close to Bugis Station, near Masjid Sultan. The hotel has - for Singapore - quite generous rooms with well appointed bathrooms. Good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff make for a pleasant experience.
It's my 1st stay here with my gf & I must say it's a great boutique hotel, considering the design at the lobby with lotsa of old skool, vintage stuffs on display as me & my gf are into classic stuffs. Staff namely Shavina, Nina & Benjamin are super frenly, helpful & kind. No complains watsoeva about them. I love the executive room esp the sweet smell aroma where u get to choose from upon check in. Everything was great except for a minor thingy. Perhaps the tv channels can have more choices as we are nite owls who sleeps late & tend to watch tv thru out. Other than that, from the lobby to the room, it was an 'instagram worth' taking photos if ur into photography. Food wise are easily available along the whole stretch of the hotel. 7 Eleven & Haji Lane are juz across the street. Mrt are juz a walkin distance. In short, it was great!
Locationwise, hotel is very accessible via Bugis MRT, near Shopping malls and Bugis market. The staff was very accommodating and they even provide free snacks (chips) to their guests. The room was fairly priced for its size, although the walls were a bit dirty - with cobwebs - and our AC unit was not working well and we had to request to change rooms but they cannot accommodate because the rooms were fully booked.
Great Hotel but very small room space”
We stayed 3N/4D at the hotel and were quite pleased overall. The positives : • Great location!! The Bus stop is right opposite hotel and walking distance ( about 8-10 minutes) to Bugis MRT and Bugis Junction. The hotel is also almost right opposite the Sultan Mosque and Haji Lane and has many eateries close by and a 7-11 right opposite which makes things very convenient. • Cleanliness : the hotel was very clean and the rooms were made up every day which was great. • The Bed - was superb. It was definitely one of the most comfortable! • Customer delights : the hotel provides lemon water and snack at the lobby for all guests and the mini bar was complimentary and consisted of two sodas. The wifi was also great 😃 Staff : Very helpful and pleasent. The negatives ☹️! • Size of room : we booked a superior room and it was tiny!! There were two of us and two large bags which left no room to walk about and we had to jump over our bags to get the top the toilet. This room is ideal for one person or can be managed for a couple traveling with one large bag. • Wet Toilet : The toilet was small but manageable. The only hitch here was that there was only a half separater between the shower area and toilet and as such there was no way to prevent the toilet area getting soaked. Which was rather annoying... Overall : I would recommend the hotel but would advice couples to book a bigger room if traveling with more than one peice of large luggage.
A Budget Hotel That Delights”
In general, I had a good stay at this hotel. There were a few misses which I thought the hotel could address as little touches make a difference to the experience of a hotel guest. The location was great. It is surrounded by plenty of good cafes and restaurants, many of which open till late at night. There are also many interesting shops for one to duck into. A short walk away is the MRT station and a couple of busy malls. The staff are hospitable and friendly. Every request was met in good spirit. Free snacks and tidbits at the lobby is a great idea. The breakfast buffet is very small but the kitchen provides two hot selections every morning and you can ask for a second helping. I had a room with an outdoor Jacuzzi tub in the patio. The hotel provides a choice of four different bath salts which I felt was a thoughtful gesture. The tub is made for couples and we had a good soak in there. We also ended up showering in the private tub outdoors because the shower is separated from the toilet only partially by a glass screen. The first day I took a shower in there and it ended with the toilet area getting extremely wet. The room was very tiny and there was no wardrobe only some hangers and hooks on the wall. There isn't anything in the bathroom to hang up your wet towels after a shower. All in all, we had a delightful stay but our room (202) was too small for a couple. Would fit a solo traveler better.
Very clean hotel and located in the center of Bugis. Cozy decoration, but the room a bit smaller than expected. However, It’s very convenient to go anywhere in Singapore.
Wonderful boutique hotel”
We knew the place was nearly renovated but did not expect such a retro yet modern hotel. Room was small but comfy for two of us. And there is a well known charcoal fish steamboat just a short walk across the road. The hotel also had a small restaurant at the ground floor and seems to be well received by people. I'm informed them of our anniversary and they had placed 2 towel folded swans with sparkling grape juice to welcome our stay and our anniversary. Well done.
The best economic hotel in SG!”
Good place good service! Little India area is around. I will definitely choose the same hotel when next time visit SG!! Don’t miss clover hotel!!
Very convenient as it is close to the Lavender and Bugis MRT station. The room is quite small, but the amenities are complete as for a standard 3-star hotel. Near to Haji Lane. A lot of diving stores and coffee shops nearby. Also, Moslem/halal food is all around the corner.
hotel room is small quaint and cosy. at the bugis area and surrounded with lots of amazing halal food and very near to sultan mosque as well! walking distance to the shopping malls and mrt as well.
We are going to Singapore to celebrate our 6th marriage anniversary and was welcoming by Benjamin, love the ambience from the hotel. Very clean 🏅 Very friendly & kind staff (Benjamin) If we back again to Singapore, would like to stay there again.. Keep up the good service but lower the prices 😁
Always back to this place”
Maybe it’s called comfort zone, coz it’s already my 3rd time each year I visit Singapore and always pick this hotel. Location is walking distance to MRT at Bugis, its near the hip Haji lane & Arab Street (dont forget to have a cup of Arabica Coffee % there) and their bathroom toilets has bidets which are still quite unfamiliar in most hotels in SG. Well that is important to me 😁 So yeah, hopefully next time I come there they recognize me and give me discounts! LOL
Location is good; abt 7mins walk to bugis mrt, alot of cafe around the area, including Symmetry Coffee which serves excellent brunch. The room was clean, a little small but comfortable. Room was cleaned daily, staffs were helpful.
This is my favourite hotel in Singapore and the 3rd time here. Great for a couple staycation. It gives off a rather cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff and great room facilities. My partner and I really enjoy our stay.
