We really can't recommend this "hotel". Although the staff was really friendly, our room wasn't cleaned for years. The bed blankets were clean, but the bathroom and bed room were very dirty and shabby.

Avoid at any costs”

Even for those who are used to all the “beauty” of train station life of a city, this hotel stay can be quite shocking and alarming. The fact that the place has not been renovated for a while and bedsheets looked as if someone already been sleeping on them is nothing compared to the fact that you will neither get a rest at night, neither will feel safe. Animal-like noises throughout the night, loud door smashing, random people( who probably even not hotel guests) bumping in your door early morning - all this and more you can experience at this place. P.S. Before booking the hotel I read the reviews and actually didn’t believe it can be so bad - well, it was worse.

Damaged room and rude staff! Be aware”

Pathetic room. Not at all value for money. we had requested for checkin @11Am at the time of booking and the hotel accepted the booking. But when we reached the manager said to wait till 12. Then we came again at 12 and he said still room is not ready. Finally he gave us room @1.30PM. The room was pathetic. The bathroom door doesn’t have handle to open. The cupboard door was not opening. Lights not working, hand shower was broken. The toiletries were not same as shown in pics. Basically the pictures available on websites must have been taken long ago and now the condition of room is too bad. Wifi slow. So many more things to say…. Long story short miserable stay ever.

Good hotel but too bad there's no lift.”

Clean room, Comfortable bed, Friendly staff

Well i booked this hotel because of its cheap price hotel. But then after i booked it, then i read the reviews. Yeah.. i should read em before i book it. Anyway.. From all the reviews, The hotel gets the bad reviews more than good. With all the bad room, dirty bed & all dirty bathroom & rude staff. I was kinda afraid that I'll be having the same bad experience. But Alhamdulillah, when we reached the hotel yes, from the outside the looks of the hotel was terrifying tho. But when we reach the reception desk, surprisingly the staff was very friendly. The check in was fast & we can immediately go to our room. Bad news, there's no lift. So we have to climb the stairs. Another bad news our room is at 5th floor. Well, its o then because i read all the reviews most of the guest complaining about the stairs. Well I don't really mind actually. Another way for me to workout while travelling. But bad news for old people with large baggage tho. Anyway, when we reach our room, from all the bad reviews stated that the room was dirty & bad, surprisingly ours & other rooms were clean. This includes the bed, floor, & bathroom. The tv working fine too. So.. to me the hotel is value for money. But seriously it was not as bad as the previous guest stated how bad the hotel was. Maybe the hotel has a new owner & do some changes? IDK but Alhamdulillah we got a good room & a good hotel with the best location. So I will recommend this hotel to all especially young people & young lover who love some adventures climbing the stairs. Because using stairs is much more better than using lift. We can burn some calories ya? But I'll not suggest this hotel to old people because the of the stairs. Overall, the hotel is a good hotel. I will come back again & i will stay again in this hotel. :-D

overall the location was about the best thing about the hotel. when we first arrived there was no english service, we had to climb up 3 flights of stairs to get to our room, the beds weren't so comfortable and i had some problems with the shower. overall it was nice and comfortable for the price, but would consider another hotel if i'm ever back in paris.

This hotel is convenient budget hotel. It also very close to Gare du East station which is easier to get train to other town or get metro to other location. Many of restaurant close to this hotel. But this hotel no lift which is inconvenient if stay in higher floor. And also, there is no power socket found in my room, and I would only take out TV power for my personal charging use.

Convenient "No star" hotel in Paris ”

Excellent location if you travel by train

the hotel is a no star. if you book a "no star" hotel, don't expect 5-star quality. keeping that in mind, the rooms are suitable for sleeping. it is old, simple and run down, with no elevator/lift and no wifi in the rooms (only in common areas)-- but the beds are ok for sleeping and the rooms are maintained clean-- some shampoo and clean towels provided. it seems safe enough. the location is literally in front of the metro station and just a 1 or 2 minute walk from the east train station. lots of places to eat, including a super market near by, as well as a few attractions. the staff was especially helpful. even though agoda could not change my reservation after the date, the staff was kind enough to honor my payment through agoda and let me change my stay to a different day, when my plans changed at the last minute. also, they were kind enough to let me check in quite early. most hotels don't let you check in before 2 or 3 pm, but this one was flexible. the rooms do not have refrigerators or any drinking water/water boiler/etc. the room heater hardly worked and the rooms were cold. however, the shower (small) had good water pressure and hot water, and the blankets are warm enough to sleep comfortably.

Everything was ok, but we got a much smaller room than was booking. The service is very helpful, although a couple of times we had to ask for a towel, because tafter the exchange we got only one. The room was well-kept, every day was cleaned. Breakfast is typically French: crosants, baguette, honey, jam, Nutella.

So so”

Hotel is opposite Gare de L'Est, metro and busstop in front

So so: the hotel has no elevator, and I was on the last floor (6th), not very practical with luggage. There is no Wifi in the room, only downstairs in the dining area. Very awkward in this day and age not to have Wifi in the whole building. Also, there is no airco. Sleeping with the window open means lots of outside noise. The room was fairly clean, and big enough for 1 person. The bathroom in the single room is very small, but sufficient. The area at night can be a bit rough, with weird characters around. As a female, I did not feel unsafe though, but it is better to have a friend escort you to the hotel.

Hotel Review”

Near Main Railway Stations
No Elevator

This hotel is situated just a few steps from the Metro station and opposite the Gare De L'est Railway station. Hence very convenient for travelling if arriving and departing by train. It is also central enough to be walkable on a cool day to all the main attractions like Galeries Lafeyette, Louvre, Champs-Elysees and even Notre Dame. Room wise, its decently clean but only no elevator, so a hassle to climb up 6 stories after a tired day.

I arrived at the hotel late coz it is harddddd to find the hotel. Which I thought just few minutes walk from Gare Du Nord as mentioned. But not! My credit card was wrongly charged. The lift was sooooooooooooo small can only fit 1 person. Looks old. The room has no boiler. Water was greyish. TV channel boring. Heater was turned off. Corridor light turns off automatically. It is scary man. What if u have guest who hv heart attack bcoz they are afraid of the dark? Check out staff was unfriendly. Outside the hotel they are lots of weird people. Dont go out alone at night! Ppl will come to you and speak french which I dont understand.
