Not that good a hotel for their price
Location. Thats it.
The only good thing about this hotel is that its very near Gare D'Lest station, about 2-3min walk. The hotel doesnt have a lift so be prepared to lug your bags a good 2-3 flights in a very narrow staircase. The corridors are very narrow that only 1 person can pass at a time esp if you have your luggages. The room is very small. Only 1 person can pass all around the bed. Its a very old hotel that was recently repainted (i guess thats a plus). The bed though is nice. It has a nice thick duvet. Their towels are also thick and new. Overall the hotel is not that nice. I wouldnt recommend it esp if you're a woman travelling solo. For guys and groups though, i guess its ok. But dont expect much.

Not recommended Hotel in any way
Nothing best from this hotel, hard to find location, small hotel with hard access to your rooms with only stairs. Poor location and facility. I was doing a 17 days trip with my friend around spain & paris was my last stop, what i didn't expected is this hotel are hard to find, very little access to the room, with only stairs and at night when i was trying to take a shower, the water is not flowing and i went down to the reception to complain about it, and they only answer me to wait until morning, and other option is giving me the other room key to access the bathroom and return the key after we finish shower and it's 12 AM at night which i didn't take because the hotel is to spooky at night and dark.

Not expensive - not nice
Location, price, staff
In this hotel you get what you pay for, and it should not be much. However, if you are willing to stay in a one-star hotel parisian style, this hotel is not without charm. It is not particularly clean, it is quite noisy, the rooms are small and renovated about a decade ago. If you can live with that, it is not completely unrecommendably, but it ought to be cheap.

Near Train Staiton but wouldnt recommend
- too expensive for its rooms & service - Breakfast, only coffee & bread - Near Train Station, however, the area seems dangerous during evening/night - rooms decor, beds, furniture are so filthy although there was daily cleaning room service for floor & toilet - No door between toilet and room - would never recommend to other even for free

Good hotel but too bad there's no lift.
Clean room, Comfortable bed, Friendly staff
Well i booked this hotel because of its cheap price hotel. But then after i booked it, then i read the reviews. Yeah.. i should read em before i book it. Anyway.. From all the reviews, The hotel gets the bad reviews more than good. With all the bad room, dirty bed & all dirty bathroom & rude staff. I was kinda afraid that I'll be having the same bad experience. But Alhamdulillah, when we reached the hotel yes, from the outside the looks of the hotel was terrifying tho. But when we reach the reception desk, surprisingly the staff was very friendly. The check in was fast & we can immediately go to our room. Bad news, there's no lift. So we have to climb the stairs. Another bad news our room is at 5th floor. Well, its o then because i read all the reviews most of the guest complaining about the stairs. Well I don't really mind actually. Another way for me to workout while travelling. But bad news for old people with large baggage tho. Anyway, when we reach our room, from all the bad reviews stated that the room was dirty & bad, surprisingly ours & other rooms were clean. This includes the bed, floor, & bathroom. The tv working fine too. So.. to me the hotel is value for money. But seriously it was not as bad as the previous guest stated how bad the hotel was. Maybe the hotel has a new owner & do some changes? IDK but Alhamdulillah we got a good room & a good hotel with the best location. So I will recommend this hotel to all especially young people & young lover who love some adventures climbing the stairs. Because using stairs is much more better than using lift. We can burn some calories ya? But I'll not suggest this hotel to old people because the of the stairs. Overall, the hotel is a good hotel. I will come back again & i will stay again in this hotel. :-D

It was terrible experience.
nothing at all
It would be a great experience to you. The stuffs were rude and no responsible, no frige, no safety box, shower hose was unconnected. Simply put The hotel ie the worst hotel in Paris. When I checked in, The receptionist gave me a TV-remote controller(It's already strange) I found it was broken, then I called him to bring a new one to my room. But he said "I'm busy, so come down to get it or you couldn't watch a TV in France" and more, I left my passport at the reception. But I still worried that they might lose it, so next day, I asked to give it back, But The man didn't know where. Coz they don't have any security box. My passport was on the desk where everyone can steal. Totally unbelivable! and they call themselves " This is THE CRAZY HOTEL"

Great location right in front of Gare du. l'Est
Walk to Gare du Nord, not in the creepy neighborhood (like most hotel next to the train station)
Great value, great location, rooms are standard and clean. Great for travellers catching early morning train

So so
Hotel is opposite Gare de L'Est, metro and busstop in front
So so: the hotel has no elevator, and I was on the last floor (6th), not very practical with luggage. There is no Wifi in the room, only downstairs in the dining area. Very awkward in this day and age not to have Wifi in the whole building. Also, there is no airco. Sleeping with the window open means lots of outside noise. The room was fairly clean, and big enough for 1 person. The bathroom in the single room is very small, but sufficient. The area at night can be a bit rough, with weird characters around. As a female, I did not feel unsafe though, but it is better to have a friend escort you to the hotel.

Wifi in the so called "lobby"
I'm a student with not a lot of money to spend on a hotel, so i choose this one cause it seemed cheep and near to things. But this hotel is located in one of the worst areas in Paris. Alright, i was a lonely girl and i didnnot dear to go out on the streets at 19.00 it was so bad. I will never return to that hotel evet never ever. I do not recommend this at all to anyone acually. There is no elevator i had to carry my 25 kilos bag all by myself 4 floors and the staircase is like 1m wide, so if you're a bir chubby you wont get trough it. The breakfast cost 5.50€ and it's NOT worth it is like croissants from the day before (or month) and some coffee and juice. Thats it. The room smelled bad, there were no cheets in the bed, the bed was really hard. You can find something better than this i promise.
