Hard to imagine a better hotel in Vung Tau”
Without a doubt, not only the best property we stayed at on our recent 2 week trip through Viet Nam and Thailand, but definitely one of the best hotel experiences I've had in Southeast Asia. The property is new, clean and stylish, a sort of modern take on 1930s French design. The breakfast was incredible at any room price point, much less this very reasonable cost. We had the buffet and the a la carte and both were creative with plentiful choices and delicious. From check in through to check out, the staff were friendly, helpful and just plain good at making us feel welcome. While all staff were great, in particular the Front Manager, Ms. Van, was exceptional. Her English is excellent and her professional and warm demeanor is the essence of southern Vietnamese hospitality. She made sure everything was right during our trip and that we felt at home in Vung Tau. The hotel is in the middle of a local neighborhood yet also easily walkable to a Circle K, Western pubs and all varieties of Vietnamese restaurants, ca phe shops, street food & shops. Of course, it is also steps away from the waterfront of Bai Truoc/Front Beach. I've loved Vung Tau since the first time I came here over 20 years ago...and now we love it even more!

The Best Hotel in VungTau”
The room very clean, and super comfy bed. I stayed here for five nights and i could see the staff very particular in everything on housekeeping. The room vibe is very modern classic english style, i just love it. Friendly staff on the reception counter, very polite in greeting hotel's customer. About the food, i can say that the food for breakfast was amazing, lot of choices and they always greet you and smile. Plus the location wise is very strategic and near to city centre, access to local taxi and grab also fast and easy. Sincerely i'm impressed and very satisfied with their hospitality, for sure i will come again and stay here whenever i'm in vungtau.

Hospitality and customer service at its best. D’Melin Vungtau was our home for 5 nights and our rightest choice in Vietnam as a whole. The front office team is a star. They go above and beyond and will make sure you have a very smooth check-in while sitting down. Van, the front office manager, will make sure you are well informed about the surroundings and will help you recommend many special local food and local places. The hosts at breakfast are welcoming and can accommodate your quirky requests when you ask for extra condensed milk for your coffee. The rooms are lovely, with a big bed and amazing view.The swimming pool is pleasant and, by the way, they have an outstanding restaurant, where I enjoyed a wonderful European-style dinner, especially the crab sauce pasta. They were for sure the best way to finish our trip! Believe me, they are really keeping up with all standards. Do yourself a favour and stay there in Vungtau.

Amazing Hôtel D’Melin”
The most amazing and hospitable hotel stay you will find in Vungtau. The staff are so helpful and will help you with any activities you may want to do (e.g. Food tour, famous local places, Phuoc Hai…), even if you turn up and have not planned anything they will help arrange your itinerary and transfers to and from places. The location of the hotel is just 2 minutes walk from the Front beach and right next to the seafood market The hotel restaurant also served some of the most amazing breakfasts and room services I have ever had (the Vietnamese Beef Noodles / Pho Bo) is so so good. I told my friend that we must come back to Vungtau simply for the rooms, service and food at Hôtel D’Melin ! I never write reviews but really wanted to for this as it was truely the most perfect place to stay at for 2 days in Vungtau. I wish I could have stayed longer! Thank you Hôtel D’Melin team

Worth the money”
To evaluate this hotel, we must mention 3 factors. 1. Extremely excellent staff: very professional, well-trained from security, reception, restaurant ... all very professional and lovely. The receptionist was sitting and when I passed by, she stood up to greet me immediately ... in general, it's 5 stars + 2. Location: the hotel has a VIP location, right next to the seafood market, right in front of the beach, next to the famous stingray hotpot, right on Hoang Hoa Tham street which is a tourist street, opposite Nguyen Trai street which is a pub street ... because of such a prime location, parking is inconvenient, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday parking is prohibited. So you have to take your car to a nearby parking lot, which is very inconvenient even though there are staff members who can take your motorcycle to the parking lot. 3. The room is newly designed, very beautiful and modern. The furniture and equipment are very standard and beautiful. Especially the bed is very standard, from the mattress to the pillow are all standard. The only downside is that the room is very small, about 16m2, so everything is cramped and uncomfortable, it's difficult to open a large suitcase to take things out and don't know where to put it. There is a lack of hooks for hanging clothes. However, the cleanliness is very good, everything is cleaned and tidied up every day. In summary, staying here is worth the money, except for the room being too small (but compensating for being very beautiful), the breakfast buffet is not good (<5/10 points) (but compensating for the restaurant being very beautiful). I have been to Vung Tau many times and have stayed in many hotels, and I conclude that I will come here again for the next time.

New stylish hotel w/ good friendly staff”
Soft clean white bed equal to the best hotels & cruise ships. Tasteful decors include good strong rain shower. Room not big but adequate size with balcony & partial sea view from bed. Strong internet that I can do work on. Flat screen has internet, YouTube & 2 English channels. Staff speaks some English & are very friendly & professional. Breakfast is a la cart w/ buffet on weekend. We like buffet where we stay so this was the only minor down point. Been here a few days so have tried their restaurant a couple of other meals. Hamburger w/ fresh fries for my hubby & dif seafood pasta for me & enjoyed it. Would have like to see a little more seafood since we are by the sea. There are a lot of restaurants, bars, minimarts nearby & short walk to front beach for the park or a stroll or city center so good location. Fridge is small for drinks only so not good for fruits or longer stay maybe. Good value & attentive service from staff from front, room, to restaurants. Very clean, hope they can keep up the standard.
