Modern, Sophisticated, Hotel in a Perfect Location for First Time Tourists, Business Travelers”
I chose the Hotel D'Orsay because I have stayed at Esprit de France's other location the Hotel Saint Pere. This hotel group executes really well, all the rooms are well-appointed and the management speaks English and is very helpful. I chose the Hotel D'Orsay because I wanted to be near the Seine. I generally stay more in the middle of Saint-Germain closer to the shops and restaurants, and wanted to change it up a bit. My room was very tiny, including a too small chair for the desk. Everything else including air-conditioning that worked well, the sheets for the bedding, the towels, the minibar, everything else was great. I think next time I will go back to staying in the middle of Saint-Germain but that is just my personal preference. You are so close to the Seine at this hotel, that you can walk out and take sunset pictures which I did and walk back quite easily. They have a very nice layout for cocktail hour as well. When I was there the hotel was full of Americans. I think the location is perfect for first time tourists because you are so close to many of the top ten, must-see attractions. The hotel is located on a quiet street. This is a hotel that is good for business travelers as well. The wifi and desk in the room is a good setup to get work done. The price is in line with what you pay for a hotel room of good quality in Paris. Finally, the front desk staff, support staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. This is a very well-run hotel that is pleasant to stay in.

Well-Located Left-Bank Hotel”
The Hotel d'Orsay is a reasonably priced very well-located hotel. It is near restaurants, shops and the Metro and within a few minutes walk of the Louvre and several other museums. The Staff is very friendly. The room was modern, but small which is typical for Paris.

Perfect”
Was great staying here, booked online 4 nights in superior room and one night in a delux as couldn't book superior for 5 nights, however on arrival they had checked us into the superior for the five nights and charge me the online rate. Was perfect and after touring Paris all day was fantastic to come home to a hotel that wasn't a shoe box.

Exceptional”
We were offered an upgrade for a small fee as there was a no-show. We took the offer so the value for money for us was excellent. The room we had originally booked was too small and cramped but atmospheric. The upgrade was definitely worth it. The beds were comfortable, the shower/bath had good pressure and the hotel was in a perfect central location to get the best of Paris in the summer. The staff were accommodating and helpful. We would definitely come back and recommend this hotel. We didn't have any meals here so cannot comment.

Nice boutique hotel in good location”
When in Paris one only really needs a hotel for sleeping. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. The breakfasts were good value and adequate. This hotel was very reasonably priced and offered all the comforts in the room of much more expensive hotels. If you wanted a hotel for the views then you would probably be disappointed, but if convenience, comfort and price were more important then this is the hotel for you.

Simply Adorable”
One day business trip and found this small boutique hotel simply adorable. A part of Esprit de France hotel group - the room and style is classic elegance with a French twist. Agents all are professional and friendly. Located in Left Bank - walking distance to Saint-German, Bonne Marche and wonderful Antique quartier on rue de Lille. The train Assemblée National is easy to access and a short walk across the river to direct 1e arr. Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Vendome, Rue Saint-Honoré, Concorde, etc

Old style hotel”
We stayed there for two days. It is near the museum d'Orsay. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. She also provided some info of traveling. The decoration is in old style. The room is clean in general. It's special that the bathroom and toilet are separated in two rooms. The beds are comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the strange smell. I guess it may be the smell of wood or sofa. Though it is not strong that my husband said he did not notice the smell. I think the price is a little bit higher that it worth.

Very good”
Wonderful location. Friendly staff unshowy decor but comfortable and intimate. Within walking distance of key art venues: D’Orsay, Rodin, the Grand and Petit Palais, Pompidou Centre, and close to two metro lines and the Seine. The only downside is that, strangely given this is Paris, acceptable food which is not either bland bistro or expensive exclusive restaurant, is hard to find. Best options are the ethnic restaurants nearby.

Excellent location, very nice hotel, the rooms are very small, but when travelling for vacations you do not spend much time in the room

good location with nice personal”
The hotel is in need of some maintenance, you can see the old rugs, wallpaper, paint, etc, but in general is a very good value for money. For me it's great because I have to work in the area and the wi-fi is included, it's clean and personel was very friendly.

Very friendly and attentive staff. ”
Our request for a twin room was not passed on to the hotel, but on arrival they 'upgraded' us to a deluxe bedroom. However, I did not think that this was deluxe for a four star hotel. The carpet in the landing looked a bit worn, again not what I expect from a four star. There was tea and coffee in the room but not very much and no water unless you paid from the mini bar. A jug of fresh water is all we needed. The shower leaked which made the floor wet and slippery. The staff were informed of this. Looking on the website I feel that maybe we would have got a nicer room if we paid the extra and booked directly. However, the staff were very helpful, not only with our missing bag debacle but with restaurants, cabs, etc. they were all charming and made our staff better.

Nice hotel with quiet and convenient location”
Overall, we were happy with our stay. Pros: *Good location- surprisingly, we were able to walk to all of our destinations from the hotel *Our room was satisfactory and clean *The hotel was quiet and comfortable, allowing us good rest Cons: *Staff not particularly warm and friendly- no smiles, no eye contact, no interest to please. The staff just did the bare minimum to ensure that basic needs were met *Room service food was disappointing, with tiny portions and expensive *Hotel public areas need renovating and updating *Called the front desk to borrow an iron and front desk staff refused to allow me to iron my clothes in my room, claiming that a fire hazard. He said I must come down to the hotel lobby to iron my clothes- absolutely ridiculous!

Great location and friendly staff”
This is a small and friendly hotel in a great location just behind the Museum. There are lots of good restaurants around the area and it’s close to transport or an easy walk on the river. We’d highly recommend it
