Comfortable stay in one of the city's best hotels”
This is my backup hotel when I come to stay in Dawei. I stay here when my usual hotel is full (although that's rare) or just on occasion for a change or when with a large party of guests given it's the largest hotel in town. I love the architecture and the beautiful huge tree in the front yard. There is plentiful parking for guests like myself who arrive by car. The food in the restaurant is pretty good; breakfast could have had more choices but was pretty good nonetheless. Room comfort was good, wifi worked well and the TV features several international channels. The pool is nice and pretty big. Unfortunately, the massage service was not available at the time of my stay. Hopefully next time it will be. Looking forward to staying here again on a future trip to Dawei once border restrictions have eased.

I like the rooms with cityview more than poolview because they are less hot and very quiet. The staff is very kind and attentive., helpful and well informed. The pool is amazing. Breakfast is very good. I stayed 2 nights and was really satisfied. The bathroom is beautiful. Warm water works. Not smelly. Clean. Good bed. This was a luxury session for me after staying in a beachhotel with less comfort. I really can recommend this hotel. Heard from 2 friends who stayed in different hotels in Dawei that they were not satisfied with their hotel. With the Hotel Dawei you will not be disappointed.

Pleasant hotel just outside Dawei city centre, close to airport. Downtown is a 5 minute moto ride or a 15 min walk. Excellent Thai food, staff speak good English and Thai. 4WD car available for booking. Comfortable, clean rooms. Like Dawei city itself, the hotel feels safe and friendly.

Hotel Dawei was a fantastic stay. Kindest staff and professional general manager., Mr. MM Jaim. Quite liked the gym and pool. Room was comfortable and all worked well. Would gladly stay here again the next visit to Dawei. Highly recommended.

The hotel was stunning. A bit pricey, we got a deal though so was half price. The restaurant was also a bit expensive especially with a service charge on top. But everything else was fantastic

A great stay”
Decided to stay here while my colleagues stayed at a nearby budget hotel (although we would all stay here again a couple of nights later)! Have stayed several times before, hence why I knew what to expect. First time staying in a single room, which was the same size as a standard room only with a single bed rather than a queen. Enjoyed my stay and off we went to Myeik the following morning.

Great hotel. Transport problem”
Lovely pool and gym and helpful staff. Comfy beds and nice rooms. I had a problem with wake up call. Called but didn't wait for me to answer. This caused me to miss my minibus. Reception then said no problem and there would be another mini bus and then to have breakfast. While having breakfast another mini bus arrived early and hotel staff said I was not ready so this bus left also. The story goes on and eventually i was able to get to Thailand but was very lucky. This spoilt an otherwise nice stay

Best all-inclusive hotel in Dawei only hotel in town with a swimming pool”
Enjoyed a great stay here. On our arrival, it was raining but fortunately not too heavily although we had to duck for cover as we brought our bags in from the car. Room was comfortable, dinner was very nice. Had a nice swim in the pool in the morning. Unfortunately, there was no massage service available, I think that will only be available in the future. Breakfast was OK but not enough variety. Good location on the main road to Ye and Myeik, and not far from the turn-off to Myitta and the Thai border (Htee Khee-Phu Nam Ron). Make sure you have access to a good car to make the Htee Khee journey otherwise you'll get stuck in Htee Khee overnight as we did - the border there closes at 5.30pm Myanmar time but you have to arrive on the Thai side by 5.45pm Thai time (5.15pm Myanmar time) or you'll be refused entry as Thai immigration closes by 6pm sharp, Thai time.

Very good value hotel. Pool and gym were very nice. Spa and restaurant were also not that expensive, but the food is nothing special. Only negative is breakfast was a little disappointing, the quality of the food was not that good.

Staff very helpful but still a few problems to address ”
This is a great modern hotel with good shower pressure, soft pillows and a wonderful pool. We did have to call housekeeping when we first arrived as there was still hair and residue left in the bathroom from previous occupants. This was rectified quickly and we had no further issues with the cleanliness however the towel rack was rather loose and when we pointed this out to the manager, it was still a point unaddressed by maintenance at the time we left, a week later. The breakfast was reasonable but we found it disappointing that the lunch and dinner menu did not include any local Myanmar food. ( if i want Thai food I will go to Thailand).

I stayed here on a work mission for a few days. The levels of comfort and cleanliness are solid 4 star. What makes the hotel memorable is the staff, who are really friendly and genuinely helpful. Kae in the restaurant was especially friendly.

Positive :beautiful rooms well kept. Negative :not competent staff, whi is unable to solve my problem with the booking. Reason:I have booked for the 25 th to 27th Nov but canceled it and had asked the manager to acknowledge this email, which he did. Then I wrote as well that I wished to change the dates from 26th to the 28th of Novem er. I received the confirmation but was very surprised that AGODA HAS WITHDRAWN TWO BOOKINGS. I tried to explain that it was the same person and the same credit card number. There was no one responsible and the GM did not follow up this problem leaving me still with the Dilemma of how to get back my money. I tried to write to AGODA BUT have not received any positive reply,. I cannot therefore recommend this hotel as they are not willing to help. I might not even recommend AGODA if I do not receive my money soon.
