Great stay!”
We really enjoyed our stay here - it’s not anything fancy but is really fantastic value for money! The beds are extremely comfortable and everything was very clean, with towels toiletries hairdryer etc all included. There are metro stations within a 5 min walk and you can walk to all the main sights of Paris within 1 hour. The train station from the airports is a 10 min walk away. Staff were very helpful at all times! If you’re looking for a hotel that ticks all the boxes without spending much money, it is fantastic.

Ideal for Gare du Nord”
We spent one night in this hotel before an early train from Gare du Nord. It is a cheap, 2* hotel so don't expect 5* luxury, but if you want somewhere clean, friendly and in a reasonably central location then this is absolutely fine. My main criticism would be that the shower room does need updating - loose toilet seat, shower temperature hard to control, difficult to shower without getting rest of the room wet. Road the hotel is on a little down at heel, but nearby many restaurants and bars.

Clean and brilliantly located for Gard du Nord. Brilliant eateries on the street but noisy at night

We were relocated”
When we came to the Hôtel De Bordeaux, the staff said that all rooms were full and that's why they would give to us a room at another hotel (Hôtel Liberty). This news upset us. If you want to stay here, be prepared to be relocated to another hotel. The Hôtel Liberty's room was small (we did not expect a big room), we had two towels for two girls! and two soaps for hands, there was not a shampoo for us. We had to go down to the reception desk and ask a shampoo each time when we needed it. Staff at Hôtel Liberty are nice and polite. The location is good, metro is about 5 minutes by foot, there are many cafes in the district. But I would recommend finding something different for the same money.

Nice little hotel”
It was a bad timing for us as there was a strike happening in Paris. Value for money, - cheap hotel Location is good. Walkable to train stations, but unfortunately was shut down due to the strike when we were there. Breakfast was ok, but a bit pricey due to addtional 30% charges. You can skip it, and just buy at the small bakery opposite the hotel.

Not really Clean”
The hotel is not not clean. I think they habe bedbugs my boyfriend and I have traces all over our bodies. Plus it is so weird that everytime you leave the Hotel they take your keys away. The only good thing about this hotel is it is so close to the Gare de l Est. I do not recommend it.

Infested with Roaches!”
I arrived at this place with my friend and as soon as we got in, it was a bad vibe. The place is as tiny as it looks. The elevator can fit only one person with one luggage. So my friend and I had to take 3 trips. The hallways are as narrow and small. The room is even worse. Woke up in the morning to find roaches on the table and all over my bag and luggage's. It was just filthy and disgusting. The sheets and towels were unclean. We asked for another room, said they were booked. My opinion, a place like this to be booked is quite astonishing. Furthermore, we had to literally sleep with the lights open because we were so afraid of them crawling into our stuff. The place is so small that it was so hard for us to keep it away from the walls. We barely slept and overall it was a nightmare and the most horrendous experience at this hotel.

Stategic location”
I had a wonderful and pleasant trip in Paris, France. The stay in this hotel de Bordeaux made it even more pleasant. I had difficult time at first in communicating with people asking for directions. However, with the warm and friendly smile of the receptionist at the front desk of this hotel made a whole lot of difference. They were very helpful in giving directions on how to reach the respective destination. They were able to communicate in English very well. This made me very comfortable in staying in the hotel despite the condition of the room whereby at times, yopu do get smell coming from the next door. Anyway, what do you expect for a 2 star hotel. The service was excellent. You even get a free breakfast. What more do you expect? I would recommend this hotel if someone is looking for a budget hotel. The location is strategic, warm and friendly employees and they are able communicate in English.

Excellent location, friendly manager”
The location is walking distance to many train stations including Gare du Nord and Gare del Est. Convenient location for food and pubs. The manager was a great help in recommending places and happy to answer your questions. Breakfast was a bare minimum but delicious. Can get a little noisy if windows are open

Very good location and nice service”
i stay at hotel 2 nights. free breakfast with very good quality. it is nearly with metro (gare de l'est) and it is very convinience to go to all attraction points in paris. room is enough for 1 or 2 people and it is better than some more expensive hotel in paris.

Decent Stopover, But Not Extended Stay”
A last-minute change of plans had me needing a quick stopover hotel near Gare de l'Est for just one night before I moved on to another hotel in another part of town. I booked a cheap room here to serve that purpose. I knew I'd be getting a bare-bones room, and that's just what I got. The hotel is rundown and simple, but if you don't need much for a night in the center of Paris: here you are. It's safe (though the area around the hotel can be rough at night), and, though tiny, equipped with private baths (showers). My room was about large enough for the bed, and a suitcase table. It wasn't spic-n-span, but it wasn't filthy dirty, either. Since I've stayed in all kinds of places all over the world, I just needed to get through the night, and Hotel Bordeaux afforded me that easily. Recommended for just a quick night's stay.

Good first-time experience staying in Paris!”
We stayed at the hotel for a few different occasions. Our first impression was the hotel was as we expected, looks small and cosy just like the photos. Also the check-in was very straightforward, and the reception staff were all very pleasant. The rooms were very interesting indeed, and we were fortunate to have the experience to try out 3 separate rooms during our stay in France. Breakfast was very good as well and should be included if possible. All in all, definitely will return to stay in future.. can't go wrong with the location & price!!

Great location but small rooms”
The staff was friendly and helpful. We were very happy with the location as we only stayed in Paris for 3 days and wanted to go all the tourist sites while relaxing in parks and eating gourmet food. The room however, is smaller and older than we expected. For a short stay it's fine and reasonable for the price.

Old but good”
Good: Good location in the area of Gare du est metro station, lots of restaurant and supermarket near hotel. The staff is very helpful and nice! Bad: The bathroom quiet old and not clean. The soundproofing not good, I can hear the sound when the lift open and close (my room is near the lift). I feel happy to stay in this hotel in this 5 days, it's worth if your budget is limited.

You get what you pay for.”
my boyfriend and i stayed at the hotel for one week. the staff was friendly and helpful, and could answer everything we wanted to know. when it comes to cleanliness, the bedroom was merely ok. wall-to-wall carpets are not really a good idea, and they were not clean. the bathroom was not very nice, and there was a horrible smell whenever we were going to use the sink. it all looked a bit dirty and old. the beds were made every day, which was a plus. hotel de bordeaux has an amazing location, just a few minutes from notre dame and louvre by feet. there are also lots of shoppingstreets and cinemas nearby. all in all, we were satisfied with our stay at the hotel.

nice location for budget hotel”
location - within walking distance to gare del east & gare du nord. foods - plenty of HALAL restaurant nearby the hotel rooms - a little bit untidy, dirty but the bed was ok :) shower & toilet - a bit smelly, maybe because there's no ventilation in there overall - good for the price
