Beautiful hotel but parking is challenging”
This is a beautiful hotel that is well located to access the rampart and beach. We were there during a heat wave and since there is no air conditioning our room was very hot. We had trouble finding parking inside the walled city even though we arrived at noon. On the suggestion of the staff we parked at a park&ride lot about 3 km away and took the shuttle back to the hotel.
Perfect location in St Malo”
Very good location, pleasant staff and clean rooms. Breakfast unimpressive but there are plenty of boulangeries just around the corner!
Wonderful historic place. Well placed in historic centre. ”
Congratulations to the interior decorators for not over- modernising this lovely place! I wished I could havd stayed longer to try the 5th floor restaurant
The young lady at the reception desk was attentive. Her English was very good and I just loved her French accent. We booked a bigger room with sea view, but the room they gave me was a smaller one with no view. I only found this out after I got to the room. So it took a while to go back down to the lobby to explain it, change the room, move the luggage to a different wing, all taking the tiny and slow elevator. I usually get really irritated by such hectic incidents, but somehow the young French lady's earnest attitude to rectify the problem calmed me down. The hotel felt very St. Malo, and we enjoyed our stay.
It was ok for a weekend trip. Staff were ok but not overly helpful. Our waitress on the night was good but i was left feeling it could ve been better after staying at other places in France that week.
Managed to get on a deal at £99 per night. Parking is 25 euros per day and buffet breakfast 24 euros for two. But excellent location in the Walled City.
Clean & comfortable room with good location.
Excellent- Family said I had done Very Good”
Great, relaxing stay in the heart of the city walls”
We where very happy with the room and it's view, our only disappointments where the late check in and waiting for the room, and the combining of two twin beds, which hampered the sleep. Outside you could hear all the music and how lively St Malo can be, and it was a minute walk to the quiet beach at night.
The rooms were a bit small, but the location, views and service more than made up for it. Have to be aware that there's no dedicated parking, so you'll be dependent upon street parking nearby. Easy walk restaurants and shopping. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
very best location hotel. so beatiful
Lovely hotel in great location”
Great, clean, comfortable hotel in good location.
Good view from the room. Clean and comfortable. Big washroom.
Perfect location just within the city walls. Parking is free overnight if you can find a spot but there is paid parking at the rear of the hotel. Our room was large and bedding very comfortable. No fridge or kettle so suggest buying one if you like to have a late night or early morning cuppa and are travelling for any length of time.
very very nice hotel”
beautiful hotel wonderful panorama to find a sea side
Good location hotel”
Comfortable staying, it's a bit pitty that my room can't see the sea view. I will recommend sole traveller to stay here for St malo visit.
This has been the most fantastic hotel we've stayed in during our trip through Western France. Very classy and classic place with a location inside the walls and near one of the gates. Staff was wonderful with every kind of help. Room was renovated and had the biggest bathroom. I particularly love the matelasse bedspread. Beautiful muted yellow. Breakfast was a great treat although very pricey. We will definitely recommend this place.
The hotel is in a fantastic location just inside the walls and in the heart if many nice restaurants. There were a couple negatives to the hotel tho, they advertise parking which was a big draw for us as parking in the area is very expensive however upon arrival we were told they had no spaces available, also in our room there appeared to be no cold water and the hot water was scalding which lead to quite an uncomfortable shower experience.
nice hotel, rooms little dated but comfortable”
Very nice, great location & lovely restaurants close by. Great view of beach within the city Walls. room a little dated but very comfortable, nice shops close by
