Good choice This hotel is a good choice for accomadation in Paris. Your wallet won’t run dry, uber friendly locale but rather than uber public transport is super available with bus and train station in a 7-10 min walk. This of course takes you straight to any part of Paris you want to go! Just make sure you are booked in the room you planned for online. We were supposed to be put in a triple room comfort but got put in the classic which was clearly not as good. Pretty sure they mismanaged booking. Despite that it is a good affordable place. Rue Cremieux literally right across along with fabulous restaurants. In any direction just 2 mins you can explore this district with ease.

Thumbs downI found it weird that the toilet (which was separated from the bathroom) doesn’t have its own lavatory/sink. You have to teanafer to the bathroom which is on the other side of the room to wash hands after. The throw pillows are dirty but in fairness, the beds are comfy. I won’t rate this as a three star hotel- it’s more like 1 or 2 stars. The girl at the reception when we checked in was not friendly at all. She seemed bored and unwelcoming.

ConvenientOverall a pleasant stay. Pros: 1. Good location. 5 minutes walk to metro gare de lyon, carrefour. Several cafe & restaurant nearby. 2. Breakfast is tasty, with variety choices of passtries, juices, yoghurts, cereals etc. 3. There is a small bagagge room to keep our luggage before check in. 4. Well equiped with amenties: hair dryer, hot water bath, towels, toiletries, coffee making facilities, flat screen tv. 5. Comfortable bed. 6. Helpful staff to pack us simple breakfast when we need to check out early in 6am. Cons: 1. Room size is average, but i am not sure is it a standard size of Paris 3 star hotel. 2. Room regulator seems like not functioning, but temperature in the room still acceptable. 3. Lift is quite small

Everything goodI'm a single dad travelling on a short break with two young kids (9 and 12). The hotel room was big and sept three of us comfortably in three full-sized beds. It was newly refurbished, immaculate and very comfortable. Great shower! Breakfast was great too. What you'd expect, fruit salad, cereal, croissants, pain au chocolat, juice, bread cheese scrabbled eggs - all the usual stuff. All fresh. The location is perfect for walks by the Seine, it's a 30 minute walk north to Notre Dame and just another 5 to Pompidou. You can walk to the Catacombs too, but that's more like 45 minutes. Download Google maps before you visit - very useful. The hotel is also ideally placed for Disneyland Paris, a five minute walk to Gare de l'Est then jump on a red RER train and it will take you directly to Mickey's doorstep in 40 mins. Back to the hotel! The staff were super friendly and helpful too. Always smiled and went the extra mile if we needed help. Staying in such a lovely place certainly added to everybody's enjoyment of the holiday. It was much more than just a place to stay.

Centrally located, fast internet, good value for money

Hotel well located in the city, near the train station. Easy to park your car during the night in the small streets around the hotel. Clean room and fast internet. However, the water of the WC kept flowing non stop, very noisy. I had to close the main water pipe during the night. Breakfast at 10 euros is a bit expensive for what it is. For me, it is a good 2 stars, but not really 3 stars.

I recommend this hotel, it's very easy to go to the mojor attractions in paris and it's take only few minutes from Metro Gare de lyon. You should go to exit number1 in gare de lyon station to reach the hotel it's very easy to find just walk along rue de lyon you will see the hotel on the right. Eventhough the room is quit small but clean.

It was quiet, bed was super comfortable and the hotel was perfectly located for my early morning Gare de Lyon departure. Also close enough to walk to some major sites.

My stay was short but sweet. Had a great night's sleep. Check in and out was easy. Happy to have the elevator available for all of my luggage. Would use this hotel again if I need to be near Gare de Lyon.

Postion to the Rail Station, walking distance, B/fast, room

We enjoyed the Hotel fine, but on arrival we found that there was no lift till you got to the second floor, making us climb 57 steps to the lift, carrying heavy suitcases. We do feel that it should be on there website,, saying that there is no lift till the second floor. As we are 73 and 77years of age respectivelly, this was very hard for us. We stayed for 6days.

Great staff, clean rooms, central location”

The friendly, helpful staff at the main desk, comfortable and clean rooms/bathroom, located close to a very easy to find metro location and bus stops

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Paris. The staff at the hotel front desk were always very friendly and helpful. They greatly exceeded staff of any other international hotels we have stayed in. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a tv, mini fridge, and free wifi. Rooms were cleaned every day. Could not ask for a better location for a hotel, safe and not crowded neighborhood. There were many great restaurants within less than a block or two as well as grocery stores. It is also very close to Gare de Lyon railway station making it easy to find your way back to. Easily my most pleasant stay at a hotel.

      Very very convenient.”

Clean, very close to Gare Lyon, close to supermarket with vegan-friendly options, easy to pick up On-Off tour bus.

This hotel was chosen because of it's relative ease from the airport (you can get to the hotel using the blue line to Chatelet les Halles, and then change using a choice of trains to Gare de Lyon). Gare de Lyon has the TGV fast trains. The hotel is just down the street a few minutes walk. The staff were quite nice, especially the man who checked us in. L'Open Tour Bus (I know, I know) stops down the corner from the hotel on the opposite side of the street, near Gare de Lyon). For this price, I wouldn't expect anything more from a hotel.

After reading other reviews before arriving we have been more than pleasantly surprised with the staff who couldnt do enough for us. Also the wifi was fine in our top floor room Even though breakfast was more than the norm it gave you more than a lot of the others and it was serviced well. They could possible issue wifi passwords for the lenght of your stay instead of having to go to the desk every 24 hours to get a new one. Whilst it was heaven to finally have an elevator, the repair man never quite got it fixed resulting in some erratic stoppages some times. This was not the fault of the hotel though. Generally a good 3 star hotel at top price but would definitely return.

      Location

Enjoyable stay here, tho wud b better if it included breakfast but for 9 euro I ate elsewhere. Right on the L'open tour blue line stop so if u have booked this hop on hop off bus the hotel has a great location. Also right near gare de Lyon station, and less than 10 mins frm north and east stations too. Access to computer a plus too, as well as hotel wide wifi.
